Best part about that pic is the guild chat. Whoever soloed the fire ele in Metrica Province deserves some serious props.
Oh this was about a hacker? SS or it didn’t happen.
If we boiled it down to real real..
Pooka crushed you : )
and for that………
<3
Pooka is a beast. I’ve seen him solo a zerg with just him and his veteran guards.
@Opacus.4390
The funny thing is, a lot of SP are bugged, making even 100% map completion broken. It’s okay though, those SP will be fixed when it’s ready.
Or have paid transfers use a different currency than gems/gold. Like I don’t know, only make it available through real world money. Oh mah gawd, what an idea.
Every server has orb hackers. That’s all there is to it. We can no longer target servers for being orb hackers and call them out on it. Instead, let’s work together to remedy this. I say, if an orb is hacked, commanders on both sides should get in contact so that the orb can be given back to the rightful server. If ArenaNet is not willing to punish orb hackers then let’s come together as a community to fix this. No more “xx server is orb hackers!”. Start getting together with the commanders of the other servers when an orb gets hacked.
If everyone follows this code, and gives the orbs back to the rightful owners, the orb hackers should slow down some. It’s kind of ridiculous that because of a couple of little kids we have to come up with a treaty like this, but ArenaNet seems to not care. Let’s make WvW honest again!
When being spawn camped, you do take the back exits out of your camps right? I can’t tell you how many people run straight out of spawn into an enemy zerg. Doesn’t work that way. Take back supply camps and start building up that way. We managed to take back about 1/3 of an all blue borderland last night by using these tactics. It’s a long process, but very very possible.
The longer the better imo. It’s tough to see you have 5 days left and are down by 30k points. It’s a whole other story if you are down by 30k points with 3 weeks left.
Thanks for reporting it. It would be nice to see a developer response on blatant hackers (and why there is no way to report them).
Yea that’s what got all of us last night. You can report the guy, but not for hacking. It’s only Botting, Spamming, Verbal Abuse (and a couple others i cba to remember). You’d think by now they would have thrown in Hacking and Gold Selling as well.
The orb is just a 5% health, +40 point to stat bonus, right? If that’s the case, why don’t we just make it even by destroying ALL of the orbs?
Also, even if the orb truly is the main reason for the server’s current position (which it very well may be), there isn’t a legitimate excuse for their behavior last week.
That is last week. Don’t accuse EB of doing something this week when you are not facing them. Their complaints about fighting this week are legitimate that is all that I know. I am not sure about last week, but do not make assumptions about this week as well.
Certain Yak and Ebay guilds have paid a certain Magoona guild many golds to stay off of certain real estate assets...FYI
That sounds like something Goons would do.
I am soooo curious if this is true!
If it is true, unless it’s something generally unimportant (which I doubt it would be), I’m definitely leaving the server.
no excuse just fact. YB hack an orb and we are losing 400 point an hour to mag due to you guys buggin our keep lord..
So, let me get this straight ...
First, Ehmry Bay lost because Tarnished Coast and Maguuma were being unfair. Tarnished Coast moves up a tier (and rightfully so, you guys are great!) and Maguuma barely wins second place.
Now, Ehmry Bay is falling behind because Yak’s Bend and Maguuma are being unfair. Both servers have a pretty solid lead over Ebay.
Tarnished Coast and Maguuma seemed to enjoy fighting each other.
Yak’s Bend and Maguuma also seem to enjoy fighting each other.
Ehmry Bay doesn’t seem to enjoy fighting _anyone_.I’m not saying that all Ehmry players are like this, I’m just going by what I’ve seen on the forums. And to those people, my response? Sometimes, when it seems like everyone else wrong, _you_ are the one who’s wrong.
I am a player, and WvW leader, in Yak’s Bend server. I will fully back EB up on the fact that this fight is not fair. Having your orb hacked (witnessed it with my own eyes unfortunately) is not something to be taken lightly. It greatly demoralizes troops and makes people just logging on for the day not want to hop on to WvW. This results in lower numbers and ultimately an unfair fight (that is if you call hacking fair in the first place O.o)
Overall, EB has a legitimate claim that this week’s matchups are not fair. I would be willing to take a restart in the YB v EB v Mag matchup today by ArenaNet if that is possible. Having a hacker on your server completely destroy the balance of WvW not only looks bad, but pisses a lot of us legitimate players off.
Supersun I apologize if our people attacked you after the majority of our main forces left. I asked them to not attack Red and explained what had happened. We didn’t leave anyone to police the situation, but in retrospect we should have.
Again EB I apologize that we could not get your orb back to you due to the destruction of the altar. I am glad we could agree on a ceasefire for the night. I’m hoping that you guys got some morale back up and will continue to fight us in Yak’s Bend Borderlands. It was a good fight up until that point. Foghaven was quite the place of contention most of the night until that point
May the good fights continue!

Around 3:45 am Saturday morning a player on Yak’s Bend flew into SH and stole the orb from Ehmry Bay. I do want to let everyone know on Ehmry that the main force of Yak’s Bend at the time was not a part of this in any way.
Ragnarok Guild had organized a number of our server on our vent and proceeded to take back what we had lost earlier in the night. To our amazement the orb was hacked and flew off the map. Everyone reported the hacker as a “Botter” (there is no hacking option).
At this time I would like to extend an offer to Ehmry Bay to take back your Orb. We can hand it over in some way or another through player death. Pm me in game to talk about how we can do this please.
Again we really do apologize about this. This was never our intention and we wish to remove this stain from ourselves as soon as possible.

It’s okay ArenaNet is currently working on banning the real offenders: karma vendor exploiters. Flying hacks that have been around since day 1 and have been screwing up WvW are on the bottom of the list. They don’t deserve to be above those who only use exploits for economical gains. Screwing over a whole WvW matchup is far less impactful
Looking at your signature I’d have to say it wasn’t
At any rate thanks for the heads up!
*Edit* I figured out what the problem was. When typing a link address you must type the http://www. as well. That’s kinda lame, but at least it works now.

Quick Notes: Mature guild with a fun and competitive environment.
Thanks for that heads up. I believe I talked to you in game and we discussed it.
It seems this is a bug with the GW2 Forums. At least I think it is. It seems like there it takes the url I made and just tacks it on to the end of your current url in your browser.
I guess this is just a warning to any potential recruits. Just copy and paste the link rather than clicking on it. You won’t get it to work by clicking.
As am I Kitten.
Ragnarok is currently recruiting. We are an international guild (although based in the USA) with a handful of AUS/EU players that will more than likely fit into that timezone. Not to mention on the weekends we will usually have tons of people up that late any way. We are a mature community that loves to joke around with each other.
Check us out at: ragnarok.omgforum.net
You can read what we are all about there. Or pm me in game for more questions.

Lol obvious troll is obvious. Good try OP, but Warriors are in fact the most OP class there is. Anyone who says anything else I would love to face you on my warrior and then see what you think after that.
And to all of you "You can avoid 100B easy". I’d like to see you try when I have 3 CC as my utilities and holding you in place is easier than pressing tab to target you.
Check Ragnarok out at ragnarok.omgforum.net. You can read what our guild is all about on our forums there. For a short version we are a guild dedicated to just having fun. However, we do intend to do a lot of PvP/WvW and become a recognizable force on our server. Currently in an alliance with Knights of the Red Dawn as well.
Ragnarok is on Yak’s Bend. We are a PvX guild that places a strong emphasis on creating a great community for our guildies. That being said we also do a lot of PvP and intend to become one of the top guilds on our server, with our server being a top tier server. We have a vent and forums. Website is: ragnarok.omgforum.net Our recruitment post is: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/guilds/guilds/PvX-Yak-s-Bend-Ragnarok-is-recruiting/first#post29529
We are currently at 41 members and growing daily. We have an alliance with Knights of the Red Dawn as well. I think with your interest in all aspects of the game Ragnarok will be a great fit. But I’ll leave that up to you for obvious reasons. By the way, the name is from Norse mythology, not the game. You’d be surprised how many people get that mixed up.
Ragnarok Guild [Rag]
Current members: 42
Website: ragnarok.omgforum.net
Who we are:
Ragnarok, a clan that was born and raised within the Bahamut server of the popular Free To Play Pet MMORPG Rappelz, here the basis of what made us who we are would begin. However, in the presence of other powerful guilds (such as Syndicate) we failed to gain any moderate spotlight, instead our true presence would be made known during the early days of the MMORPG Aika Online. Here we began to grow in both power and numbers until we had become a fairly known presence on the main forums and later on, in-game during Closed Beta and Open Beta.
However, that presence was shortlived due to a result of some misconduct or lack of communication within Aika’s publisher Gpotato, a massive IP ban was being cast down on any country outside of North America and for us who had many members from all over the world, this presented a problem. During the chaos that had come with this news, we lost the majority of our player base and all the strength we had regained was once again gone and ultimately, we left the game.
However, not all was lost, the few dedicated members who stayed with us gathered together and we began to look for a new game, during these months we spread out across many MMO’s until one in particular that appeared to have potential was brought our attention, that game was Forsaken World. Once again, we gained clout in this game and eventually built a rivalry against a few other guilds. After some real life issues took hold of our leader and officers we had to abandon the guild to attend to the situations at hand.
For a year our forums laid dormant until I took control and we slowly began to pull old members back in. While we were still weak we all devoted ourselves to Guild Wars 2. We began to recruit many new faces and have since devoted ourselves to create fun PvE and dominate any PvP competition.
What we strive for:
Many other guilds claim to be dedicated PvP guilds who bear the intention of complete and utter domination of whatever games they choose to play, we do not. Yes, we do PVP and quite often, but our simple purpose is to live for what gaming was created for, to have fun and enjoy ourselves. As a result our community is a collective one spanning from players who love to PVP, to those who would prefer wreaking havoc upon the different monsters and challenges the game has to offer, and even those who like to take breaks and participate in the community side of MMORPG’s. Despite our differences though, we all look out for eachother because we are not just a guild, we are a family.
How to join:
Go to our forums at ragnarok.omgforum.net and submit an application. No registration is needed.
Leader: The Blind Man (The Blind Man.3642)
Officers: Sivious (Ositah.4823), Leeroy F Jenkins (GideonWilhelm.5709)
What we are looking for:
1) Recruiting all levels and professions
2) Members are not expected to be hardcore, but must be friendly and active.
3) Must be able to use vent for organized events
4) We want dedicated members who are not in other guilds. We have a fairly strict no multi-guilding policy.
5) Members who just want to have fun and create a great community as well as dominate the competition.
