Good call Cardon. I was looking for the statue that used to be in the district myself but I wasn’t able to find it. I assumed it might be in the “Royal Pass” area (which is a whole ’nother problem) because that is basically where it was before but without a pass IDK whats actually there.
Personally I think the male Gods in GW suck (being weak and ineffective for Tyria)… female ones all the way:) . No matter…
Indeed it is so…
Fastest way to lvl? Speed like 100USD buying gems; trade to gold, buy a bunch of crafting mats for each craft skill, lvl all of them up to max, and u will be 80 in no time:)
They need an “underflow” system. I’m sure this has been mentioned plenty of times in other threads. Overflow occurs when a certain population threshold is reached on a map. There should be a system in place that merges maps together when the population is below a certain threshold.
Welcome to WoW’s CRZ (Cross Realm Zone) if that was to be so.
The solution here is to delete servers. There is simply too many of them. WvW wise it is impossible to have good WvW battles week after week if only the top two or three tiers ever have populations to do anything with them.

White Cake
+10% experiance from kills
This spelling error is a personal “Hidden Egg” of mine because no one other then me it appears has noticed this. I have been waiting forever for ArenaNet to fix it but it seems hopeless. No matter I decided that now I should let you mates know. Check the item description for “White Cake”… something that you can make with the Chef skill.
I wonder what “Experiance” is? Must be something Epic…

To clear up some failures of understanding I will attempt to defend my claims. I will focus on a few of them this time….
1. The Support of Minister Caudecus and his Bandits… in the attempt to Overthrow the Queen of Kryta by Engaging in a Ceasefire/Trade Agreement with his Forces (NPCs in Kessex Hills, Human Personal Story)
There is no doubt that LA has a ceasefire or otherwise with Caudecus that gives him the room to exist. Without the support of LA: He wouldn’t pose a danger to the stability of Kryta. By supporting him the Council of LA is supporting the overthrow of a government in exchange for one that would be in theory more profitable. The Minister has probably promised better trade arrangements to LA and thus LA is engaged in traitorous activites against its own (former) people.
Thus claim 8 is also observed.
2. The Harbor of dangerous Pirates and Criminals within the City
Look all you have to do is go straight north outta the LA gate. Pirates are raiding the local farmlands. To claim that “pirates in LA are happy do-gooders” is like claiming that “terrorists do not terrorize”. These people are engaged in Crimes Against Kryta and to suggest that “it doesn’t happen in LA therefore its okay” is to suggest that “it is okay to let criminals run free”. They should be executed for all the killing and raiding of innocent locals. There is no excuse for the Council to provide shelter to the enemies of Peace.
In fact if these pirates didn’t have a place to sell their goods it would be unlikely that so many pirates would exist in the first place. Thus many areas of Tyria would be safe. By allowing them to exist they continue to Undermine Local Goverments as stated in 8… observed once again.
6. The “Neutral” or otherwise Non-Engagement of Lionsguard against the Elder Dragons in spite of their “Glorified Dragon Bash” Festival
Claw island was defended by Pact forces not Lionsguard. Furthermore any efforts ever made against Risen were Defensive in nature (protecting their trade routes) and not Offensive. I don’t see any Lionsguard in Orr. How about Arah? What about Jormag? Didn’t think so. To claim that Lionsguard has “a part in the outcome of the dragons” is false… they instead allow other people to “fight their battles”.
I will consider adding more information to my charges against Lion’s Arch in time… nonetheless to defend Lion’s Arch is to defend Crimes Against Tyria…
Indeed it is so…
Well I do agree with you… However more so on story grounds because LA should be wiped from the map instead…
This doesn’t make sense until you think about it…
As stated in my thread above: If LA is indeed in need of Destruction by the Queen of Kryta then voting for Kiel will save her life. And shall be possible to get her to “See the Errors of her Ways” and come aboard the Seraph instead.
DOOM TO THE TRAITOROUS LION’S ARCH!

If ArenaNet is to develop a race inside the current game world: The Sylvari are the only race that is a must-need engagement. Not only are they new… however we do not know much about the intentions of the Pale Tree or basically why they exist or what they are supposed to do.
The Kryta Humans need some resolution in time but that would require moving the story of many in-game things past their current “time” thus making it a problem for new players or otherwise players that have not yet finished the current game. Thus the need to expand GW2 outside of its current zones is absolute.
Yet there is other forum threads and interviews suggesting that no expansions will be made for GW2. This will be a problem if that also mean no real content that is lasting and large in scale is released.
Think about it… look at the Wiki for example: Tyria is a big planet. GW1 only reached a small part of it. There are whole regions that have yet to be explored on the planet. In games like WoW; the entire planet in general has been discovered, therefore adding newer content is harder. Guild Wars still has plenty of space to be had and it would be a disgrace if ArenaNet didn’t do something about it so…

Aaaaah guys thanks for the the interesting posts here: I didn’t expect to get so much “care” on the matter…
It is true that regardless of my story-based reasons listed I; like some players, just don’t like LA and how it looks either. Just feels bad. And if your computer isn’t fast (which mine is custom built by me to be fast) the loading/graphic problem is a problem.
What I also haven’t mentioned is that the focus of a city/zone like LA to force players there causes player caps to be hit; during events mostly, that force you into unforgiving “overflow” zones, which just make you mad like crazy. I don’t know why player caps are so small in the instanced zones of GW2 and not so in open world games like World of Warcraft; but this problem of spam overflow in LA simply removes you from the game.
Its hard enough there isn’t a global or otherwise trade channel but now you are gonna put me with random players of other servers… How am I ever supposed to engage in social interaction in GW2? A Subject of another Grand Thread…
Indeed it is so…
Kryta will get their day.
That is all.
FINALLY something that makes sense for once!
I guess I/we just have to wait for the Living Story to advance therefore.

Lion’s Arch is a Crime Against Tyria for its Traitorous Actions against the People of Tyria. The Council has Engaged in these Crimes:
1. The Support of Minister Caudecus and his Bandits… in the attempt to Overthrow the Queen of Kryta by Engaging in a Ceasefire/Trade Agreement with his Forces (NPCs in Kessex Hills, Human Personal Story)
2. The Harbor of dangerous Pirates and Criminals within the City
3. The Support of the Consortium: A criminal organization that Engaged in the Exploitation of Refugees in Southsun Cove
4. The Offensive Actions against Canach who was attempting to Combat such an Invasion
5. The Exploitation of Resources around Tyria in direct Competition against Local Governments
6. The “Neutral” or otherwise Non-Engagement of Lionsguard against the Elder Dragons in spite of their “Glorified Dragon Bash” Festival
7. The Continued Hostile Invasion of the Mists and the Engagement of other Worlds… a War on Tyria elsewhere in the Mists Unjustified
8. The Continued Efforts to Undermine Local Governments in order to advance the Power of Lion’s Arch and thus attempt to Engage in the Dominiation of Tyria
For these Crimes and likely others not yet posted: Instead of Glorifying Lion’s Arch week after week of patch content and now two “Candidates” who are only promising in effect to further advance NCSOFT’s attempt to get you to buy worthless trash on the Gem Store… the Truth Shall Be So! The Queen of Kytra should overthrow this False Government of Lion’s Arch with the immediate deployment of the Seraph and other potential alliance forces and clean up their lost city once and for all…

A future"Game Content" leak occuring the week of E3?
Who wants to bet that this leak was not a leak?…
Indeed it is so…
Yes i just recently posted something to this effect myself: “Why do we fight?”
Without a good reason it just feels like more of the same. Furthermore ArenaNet’s refusal to give any direction on anything meaningful makes it hard to figure out what is going on.
I assume by the end of the year GW2 player population will be finished once and for all given release of final battle of WoW’s Mists of Pandaria and Elder Scrolls Online.

There are a number of benefits, though none so crucial as to make it vital to have.
- You’d like to know who in a guild is on-line and you yourself are not a member. Maybe to find the GM to praise or complain about a member.
- You know a few letters of the name of a friend but can’t remember all of it or his/her 4 number suffix.
- You are considering going to a zone where something big happens and you want to find someone in that zone to ask if it’s happening.
Etc. Obviously there are misuses as well. I don’t actually miss the feature in GW2, but then I have the guild panel to see who in my guilds is around and the friends panel for a side-list of those that might not share a guild with me. My main guild is active enough to give me plenty of social time
Exactly… and without either a /who or an effective LFG function it is impossible to find other players to do things with in this game.
No there isn’t. The reason to make it harder to find other players was to limit spam and the like nontheless it remain a problem…
I seriously don’t understand why you would want to take a character working on the survival achievement to WvW to begin with. I get how cool it is to beat the PvE game without dying. That’s awesome. But why would you take that character to WvW, which is, by it’s very design, a war game. With casualties.
Also, can you not just make a different character to play WvW? Are the deaths connected to the account? Or that character?
Just to the character. I could create a WvW character that doesn’t follow the ruleset however I is/was trying to do it permadeathwise. A war game can be played like this if you take the game seriously and not fast. Don’t travel alone. Move strategically. Have defense. Use evasion skills such as mesmer skills (which I am) to run if needed. It is possible to do permadeath just not fast.
Thanks for the helpful post. To others please do not flame.
Your post makes no sense at all.
You’re playing on /dealth mode…wtf is that? Who give a kitten, I guess you do. Anyways, let me explain why your logic is flawed.
If Anet implement a 20-30s logout timer, guess what….you’re gonna die anyways. You’re at 50% health and some invaders are chasing you. You crash due to crappy internet. Your character stays in game for 20-30s and the invaders are still beating on your character, down you, then stomp you. What is your point? Just say away from WvW would be my recommendation.
To explain… A countdown timer would in some combat situations lead to death, however in other situations it would not. If you are manning a seige weapon you are not likely directly being attacked and would not die if you logged out (this is usually what I do permadeath wise). However since you are flagged this new rule change would kill you. Furthmore if you were in a large group you might be able to survive 20s due to defensive buffs or otherwise.
For the last time is ALT+F4 an exploit? Yes. But this change at least according to post makes EVERYTHING considered an exploit even non-exploit situations. Please stop jumping to conclusions on these forums.
First of all I never stated I used AltF4… wasn’t even aware that worked until today (I assumed countdown timer was in effect like other MMORPGs)… Please don’t jump to conclusions.
Furthermore if this is indeed a problem then simply introduce a countdown timer.
First off, you wrote a several paragraph defending the use of alt+f4 then stated you will stop playing WvW when they implement this fix. This very strongly insinuates that you use alt+4 each time to avoid death. I think that the fix they are implementing is a great idea.
Meow
From the ArenaNet Post:
“Alt+F4 is no escape”
“If someone that you’re fighting disconnects during combat (via Alt+F4, killing the client process, etc.) their character will be instantly killed, death penalties will be applied, and XP & loot will be handed out as usual.”
Do I agree Alt+F4 is an exploit? Yes. However AltF4 isn’t the only way to break an Internet Connection thus causing the game to log out. Therefore if ArenaNet makes ALL disconnects as suggested in this post subject to this rule this will make both exploit-based and true disconnects as a result of various internet problems (this IS an online game) lethal to Permadeath play.
Furthermore from a logic view I don’t know why anyone cares. Someone running away is just as good as killing them… when they reconnect they will have to run back anyways. Thus one less player stopping you from your seige/seige defense. And as stated a simple logout timer of at least 20s would end this debate.
First of all I never stated I used AltF4… wasn’t even aware that worked until today (I assumed countdown timer was in effect like other MMORPGs)… Please don’t jump to conclusions.
Furthermore if this is indeed a problem then simply introduce a countdown timer.
Edit: First of all I am not defending Alt+F4. It is an exploit. If you read this post and think otherwise you are flamming. As posted by ArenaNet:
“Alt+F4 is no escape”
“If someone that you’re fighting disconnects during combat (via Alt+F4, killing the client process, etc.) their character will be instantly killed, death penalties will be applied, and XP & loot will be handed out as usual.”
However this may or may not include other forms of disconnecting such as for example, pulling your internet connection, your power cable, ISP dropping your internet, router failure, server failure, game crash and so on.
/endedit
“Hard Core Mode” or “Permadeath” is the deleting and restarting of a character if you die ONCE thus to simulate the real nature of death and make the game hard but fun.
You can use /deaths command to find the count. If the ArenaNet post about an insta-kill device that kills you if you disconnect while in combat, this would basically make permadeath impossible. Thus locking out all of WvW for players such as myself.
I don’t understand why Alt+F4 is of consequence. Your goal is to capture things and gain points for your world… not to kill other players. If you want this from being overused for whatever reason just put in a 20 second countdown clock for logging in WvW just like WoW. I assure you it is preeety hard to stay alive for that long undefended anyways.
If ArenaNet imposed these changes I will have to stay away from WvW in terms of permadeath forever. My game crashes too much, worthless ISP drops internet too much for me to loose a lvl 80 0 deaths char (which is almost impossible) to some situation not under my control.
If you are ArenaNet please do not impose upon such unnecessary changes. Just add a logout timer… this will end the debate.
