Its not all about Rotations. It has also to do alot with the right builds and the right comps. In SoloQ it happend after the last nerfs that i was pared with to Herals on DPS Builds. Our Opponend Team had a Condi Necro and this guy crushed them. Before Patch it was incredible hard to win a teamfight without a Bunker Chrone and a Chrono on the other Side. Meta Builds are often good together. Sometimes they dont fit your playstyle and you will be better with a different one. But to say its all about Rotation is not 100% true. You can rotate as much as you want if your teammates loose 3 vs 2 situations. Or when your team wipes and they use there momentum.
Sanctum Scramble for the Glints Bastion Collection is bugged for me. Did it with Silver but didnt got the Collection thing. Third bug just in this one Collection. GG
One easy thing you can do is to call a target.
Maybe your team dont whant to talk, but there is a chance that they are able to press “T”.
Everyone who is thinking about playing thief has to realize that he has to do this job. Also he gos for low targets, interrupts stomps, rez and stomps himself. so you have allways somthing to do.
Also a thief is, because of his mobility, his stealth, something that is really important and must be in your mind when you build up your team.
Maybe you are not that good in 1 on 1. but why make the thief like everything else. this is part of the difersity. im fine with it.
Im playing alot of PvP at the moment. And tbh, somtimes i hate that system. I would love to have longer q for having better games. yesterday as an example.
our team had two thiefs. Not so good. But both thiefs absolutly sucked. they pushed into teamfights and died. they fought together against one thief and died. the rage in the chat was real and both left. I whispered one of them and he told me that he is new in the game and played first time on thief.
how can it happen that im getting pared with him. im rank 80 and have a win ratio round about 60% with over 1000 games allready played. i played on my main.
THis is nothing new for me at the moment. there are many matches were my team wins 500 to 100 or we loose like that. its not close or fair. its just a waste of time to get in these matches. i dont care if i loose if the match was nice and close. but to get crushed or crush the opponents is nothing i am looking for.
Dire is maybe not the Problem on Necro, but for Burn Engis its awesome. Dire is a full defens Way with Condi and makes it much easyer to play some of the specs.
For high ranked PvP or even tPvP, conditions in general arent the biggest problem. But ArenNet also has to think about the lower tiers and the not so good players.
So in the End, Dire has nothing to do in PvP.
Ok, first to the math with Berserker and Cele. Are you serious. I can take some numbers and then something is op?

If i wanna play a PowerNecro Cele is no option. If i play a CondiNecro Cele is no option.
If this is your argument every class has to play cele. Just because it gives you more stats in total then the other.
No, the Reason why D/D Ele or Signet Necromancer take Cele ist because they can make a use of everything that is given and also are able to gain enough might to deal decent damage.
So, the result is still that you are not forced to play a Metabuild or even celestial. You can choose.
Dire is not available and will not be available after release.
Ok, Trapper Rune will maybe not be a problem for higher PvP. But for SoloQ and even lower Tier PvP this Rune will destroy alot of fun. All the Condi Specs are annoying like hell allready. No need to make it more annoying.
To Keep Dire and Perplexity out of PvP is good. No need to buff Condi Mesmer.
All this started with the Idea of adding more Amuletts and now we get more Runes and other Crap.
Thief for me. Over the time since release i have tried every class in pvp. In the end i stopped on Engi and played it until the patch. At the moment i moved back to Celestial Signet Necro. It fits perfect for what i want to do.
The Problem for me on the thief is, that i have to focus much more on the map. Its my purpose to +1, decap and be smart in rotations. i love to have a smart thief on my team. but my normaly favorite play is going for sidenotes, take the 1on1 and survive untile my team shows up.
Yep, Meta on Ele and Necro. And there it is fine because it fits perfect to what the class want to do. Or with the special Build.
You also can play much more offensiv versions or even much more tanky builds. Also conditions are possible. I dont think its like you say. You can play more then just the Meta. But the Meta builds are strong and work good togehter with other Meta Builds.
Like most people allready said. Reduce the Burning output. From every skill that gives burning one stack, besides the skills that allready just give on stack.
Might is a problem. It brings some builds over the top. but if you cut down might like you said some other classes will get some trouble like HGH Engi, Cele Necro.
In the End it could be enough to just reduce burning.
Thats exactly what i was meaning. But you broght it on point. On my Engi i often go for 1 vs 2 Situations or fight for ages against another engi or dd ele. so often i end up with low points or in the end with lower points then a thief has. but when we loose, the thief is raging against anyone else because he has the most points. but we both just did our job. his job brings more points in the end.
the PS gives for some examples some informations. but you allways have to look at the class and the job he is doing.
EG is not bugged. The Trait says you have to Toss or Consume it. EG 4, 5, and Toolbelt dont Toss or Consume. It works like it should. But yeah, i would love to see that they change the Trait so it can remove condis.
PS Points gives you no information of the Player in general. Im playing high mobility classes and often enough i push far and after i killed the player on the point and be able to cap it a random player appears and whants to take the point too. So i leave the point because it is useless to take it with two people. in the end he gets the points from it. or poeple run over the map and just get some attacks on downed player. often enough a ranger for example has the most points just because he is attacking everything that he can reach from his spot. but often enough he did nothing for the team or for the success of the team.
i totaly ignore the PS just because it depends on the fact that you can have the highest score and still be the worst player. in the end it is just important that your team wins.
and when you whant to say hello to the team feel free to do it. you will get a hello back from me. its allways nice to have a littlebit smalltalk before the match starts.
Rampage is totaly Fine. I lost my fun playing Warrior in the Shoutbow Meta and im happy to have now the option to play DPS again. In many Situations, especily in 1 vs 1 situations good players know how to counter my rampage and im not getting anything from it.
But in other situations. When they dont see me coming. Rampage is often Gamechanging and just Facerolling.
Who thinks that rampage is the only reason to play this build is making something absolutly wrong. You can win a lot of fights without rampage and thx to GS you can go in and out of a fight in seconds. The mobility is great on the dps build. its true that you have no support, but not every class must have support.
I would change nothing on rampage at the moment. not aslong it can be countered that easy from so many classes. people just have to learn how to play against it. Most time against not so good players i see that they pop everything and try to get away. i can easy stay on them and kill them after the skills disappear. against good thiefs, celestial Necros or good d/d eles i cant do alot in rampage. blinds, or stealth are really strong against me and a thief just can move away.
