Guild Wars 2

No gear grind has been my main talking point in convincing friends to try out this game. It was certainly one of the biggest reasons I joined. Now i’m not sure this applies anymore.

What a terrible idea. Please stop this treadmill now before someone cranks it up too high, or too many people get off.

Try rezoning? Hopefully you don’t have a long queue. I’ve had my map glitch in WvW to where I couldn’t even see a waypoint when I died. Rezoning always fixes it for me.

I had a lot of fun tonight and last night against Fort Aspenwood. Haven’t seen much of Yak’s Bend. Good times on TC borderlands – thanks for visiting the Coast, where we like our map to be monochrome!

I’ll throw in a shameless plug for Tarnished Coast.

1) It is North American based.

2) We are in the best matchup in months this week. Yak’s Bend and Fort Aspenwood, and these are both teams we have played relatively recently. First and third place are about 10,000 points apart, so it’s still anyone’s game.

3) I see a lot of different guilds in WvW. I’m not sure why you’d prefer a realm with few guilds actively involved? If you’re looking for a guild though, I don’t that will be a problem on any realm.

4) The only time I recall waiting in a significant queue (IE more than a minute or two) is generally nights when the maps reset. I think on one reset night I waited about ~20 minutes. Generally though I get insta-queues.

5) Personally, looking at this weeks rankings, we are in the perfect tier. 4 out of the 6 above us have completely smashed us in the past with pretty one sided results. Being in Tier 2 means you’re going to face one of those four every week. I’d prefer to be in tier 3 where there are a couple realms above and below us. Makes the week a lot more fun, which is what we’re all playing for.
