On the Volcanic Fractal the walls near the first bat are walkthrough, and one of them has a hole you can’t get out of.
I used Whirlwind Attack while killing the bat, went through the wall and fell. My team then had to do the Shaman with 4 people, which at fractal 20 is pretty much impossible. Had to restart the whole thing.
What?? Destroyer drops from level 80 dredge, you get loads of them doing fractals and WvW. Meanwhile to get Charged there’s only a couple of mobs in Orr that drop them, and they only spawn when your server controls a random temple on the other side of the map (never).
Heavy Supply Bags have a small chance at Onyx Cores and Lodestones. ~1.63% on cores and ~0.36% on lodestones. They drop from WvW centaurs.

The only way I was able to do this was with a full heavy party and even then it was still a very close call.
Its pretty frustrating since I only have 3 hours to play per day, I’ve rolled cliffside for the last 3 days and none of those parties have been able to do it, its 3 days where I couldn’t even get a chance at a ring.
This fractal is ridicously harder than all the other level 20s: having to fight him on such a small room make it impossible to avoid all the agony during phase 2, this on a level where players are only able to get 10-15 agony resist total, its simply not enough. This event seems tuned for a team on full 30 agony resist.

That’s not a bug that’s how we reset dungeons.
Instructions on how to do this help the devs much more than spamming screenshots:
Kill the spider queen and take the priory waypoint.
Not possible anymore, but I’ve seen 70k health with bear form and WvW orbs buff.
You do not actually have to spec for this in WvW, just include any stealth skill. Once you stealth you’ll be invisible for a good 1-2 minutes due to culling.
Pear guy is small time compared to the 3800g lemon guy.

WvW Borderland runs are still the best karma farm in the game, just like they were before the Plinx nerf, you don’t even get DR so you can do it 24/7.

After a week trying to trigger the event and many, many hours wasted on that kitten island, we finally managed to spawn Taidha!
And there was much rejoicing, at least until a few minutes later when we killed her and only 1 of us got the achievement.

My issue with thieves is not their insane burst, the damage is easy to counter.
The problem is that once they get countered or outplayed, they don’t get punished at all. They can just stealth and teleport away, wait for their skills to recharge and hit another target. There’s literally no risk to playing a thief.
Anything from buffs specifically on your bar is added post numbers. So you should be getting the full amount, just not showing that you are.
Yes I am aware of that, that’s why I posted that screenshot. The numbers above my head is the real karma you get. I tested this looking at the amount on my inventory as well.
So what is the recipe?
I’m not getting the karma bonus from the outmanned buff.
With 15% guild bonus + 33% outmanned I’m only getting 391 karma per event (base karma is 340). Only the 15% is being applied.

You don’t need no elementalists. I’ve done all 3 paths for the last 5 days and had no issues with this.
Don’t use the 2-5 skills, just auto attack and move around the burrows. My auto attacks always hit when I’m moving.
You need a very specific group setup for this boss, if your class doesn’t have poison or stability don’t bother trying to do it.

You’re missing the point, the grieving being done is not the pvp in the puzzles its the blocking of choke points with out of range siege weapons.
If it was possible to hold stonemist castle with a single arrow cart, no matter the size of the enemy army, would you still defend this as a viable tactic?
Are there any plans to add particle effects to the preview window?
It modifies game files and fixes the dizzyness issue, giving you an advantage over other players. Pretty sure its not allowed.

I get the feeling people saying this haven’t actually tried to do it.
1 single arrow cart on the roof will keep the entire room in combat while being invulnerable due to range. There is literally nothing the team below can do to get past the animal pit. When one side has a 0% chance of succeeding its a broken game mechanic, not a “valid tactic”.
The whole “don’t PVE in PVP” argument does not apply, this is a case of broken mechanics.
People need to leave combat to get through the animal pit but its impossible to leave combat when the enemies are LOSing us upstairs.
The point is, they dont even need to do anything they can just afk and since the area is so small they keep everyone down below in combat, and the puzzle is impossible in combat speed. I’m ok with actively defending it, but not when you can just afk.
All it takes is 2-3 people to keep everyone below in combat and the jumping puzzle becomes literally impossible, no matter how many people you have.
IoJ has been camping the animal pit for a good 2-3 hours, if not more. At some point some action has to be taken on the grievers…

Vengeance has a small chance to go away when you kill something, there is a trait to make it 100% chance.
I believe the trick is to keep him poisoned the whole time, so you’re pretty much required to bring necros with you.
I thought anet was against the whole “don’t bother doing this dungeon if you don’t have X class” thing.
The current system makes no sense, it only helps the winning team win even more, creating a feedback loop.
Being outmanned should buff your stats so you actually have a fighting chance.
Capturing the Orbs should reward you with additional gold and karma.
We attempted this fight just now after the buff, all of us are max geared, organized over vent and have been streamrolling the other dungeons with no problem.
We tried multiple tactics and it is just impossible to outdamage his healing with the constant aoe / knockdowns.
Our best attempt was 30%, to do any better than that we would have to structure our party and take only the few specific classes that have the required utilities and dps.
I thought this game was against that.
Just figured out how to fix it, this is a client side corruption of the item descriptions, so deleting your Local.dat file will fix it (or maybe just restarting your client, not sure)

This is most likely the result of linking the legendary items in chat, since it only started when people figured out how to do it. Those legendaries links are missing data, like the name and other details so it might be messing up the descriptions for other items.

I found out how to link any item in chat using its respective code, including the legendaries.
The links work exactly like templates did on GW1 and it was allowed back then.
I was wondering if this is allowed on GW2 as well?
