You can reset the crates mid fight. Just run back to the wall once she does the spin thing, wait for the crates to reset then run back in before she regens.
The Queensdale train was literally the worst thing that happened to this game.
People who start playing in Queensdale see everyone just doing the train and are led to believe thats how the game is supposed to be played. Then they do it for 20 or something levels, say to themselves “this game is kittening boring” and quit.
I don’t understand how people are complaining about it being removed.

Bunkers are essentially the monks of GW2 random arenas. If they have one and you don’t you lose, simple as that.
You either have 2 people waste 5 minutes to kill him, while the rest of your team is outnumbered. Or you ignore him and be forced to hold far, where you’re at a disadvantage.
Or just cheese it and go engi.
tl;dr: have more bunkers than the other team
We need more dedicated healer roles for GvG to heal the npcs and your teammates. Guardian’s healing breeze is a very good skill although the cdis a bit high but we need more skills like that one.
LOL yes we need bunkers to have even higher sustain. I was able to heal through 3 attackers on the point but when the 4th came in I just died. This is unacceptable. /s
I just wish it would stop matching me with the same people over and over again.
Yesterday I lost 4 matches in a row because my team always had these 2 rangers who just stood in a high spot spamming shortbow auto-attack. Meanwhile the other team wins just by having people on the actual points.
You know what really needs to be fixed, how stealthed players are immune to downed skills. I know exactly where the thief is and I’m throwing rocks at him, yet somehow being invisible makes rocks go through you. Makes sense.
Bunkers in solo queue are essentially what healers were for GW1 random arenas. You either have them or you lose.
I recently started doing arenas, since the rewards update, and for a while it was fun. Most people on the lower ranks just play to have fun and the few bunkers were bad at it.
Then I started moving up in the leaderboards, all the way to the top 100. And oh god so many bunkers. I’ve had matches where barely anyone dies, people just stand on the points repeatedly healing themselves, hoping the other guy will accidentally step out of the circle.
But the sad thing is that it works, I rarely see the team with the most bunkers lose. Its just so viable since they have no counters, other than that 1 specific build in that 1 specific class.
When your team encounters a fully tanked out bunker in mid and you have none, you’re pretty much kittened. You either ignore mid completely and be forced to split on opposite sides of the map, while having to fight right in front of the enemy spawn. Or you dedicate 2-3 players to waste time killing the bunker, while the rest of your team is outnumbered and outcapped. Either way you lose.
Keep everyone between the wurm and the wall. You won’t have that problem.
We did. Wurm still runs out.
The heads still run all the way out on their own, except now they just become invulnerable to damage.
There is nothing the players can do to prevent this. We just had a run fail because Cobalt decided to go on a stroll and stayed invulnerable for 30 seconds.
Wouldn’t it make sense to just fix their pathing instead of making the fight even more RNG dependent?
TL;DR: Fine unless you use exploits, kick players to sell spots, or scam, or anything else that breaks the user agreement.

Also, joining groups and purposefully kick/disband them in order to delete their istances (cause you’re a white knight that must smite the dungeon sellers plague) should be banned aswell – just like kick for selling, which do is bannable and wrong.
I had people join my instance checked that I killed lupicus and then said: “congratz you are one of the legit, no kick, have fun”.
I honestly do not mind at all that we have these white knights, as long as they are only kicking exploiters, they are like an in-game moderator lol
I got some of those as well, but its rare, most white knights just use the merge bug and don’t even check if you’re legit or not.
There are exploits / safe spots for Warriors to stand and range. It’s not really hard to pull off, and unless you see someone doing it (which you won’t), you can’t really know that they did it.
Why range when you can melee? I just kite him around the crates while axe auto-attacking and reset the crates when I’m out of them, much faster.
Except the group hes crashing is still at tar, how can they be exploiting lupi?
Griefing legit sellers is just as bad as the exploiters themselves, it even makes the situation worse: none of the legit sellers will take the time to go through lupi when theres such a high chance of being griefed, while for the rest its just a 20 minute setback.
I got my (legit) runs crashed like this twice today, not gonna bother with Arah for a while.

I wonder why theres so much complaining about dungeon selling in GW2 when in GW1 it was widely accepted. What happened between the 2 games that turned the guild wars community into such whiners?
have you tried asking the green server nicely if theyll allow you to break in and get your business done and leave without capping it?
i havent been asked to let a keep be broken into… but a small group of people did one time ask me to bust northeast tower, and i allowed it. similar situation. one guy needed the one POI for his legendary. had a small 5 man group of guildies who were helping him. i was on first response and had repelled them once already from the tower. but they partied me and asked what it would take for me to let them in. “dont cap it” was good enough for me.
as long as your position is obviously weaker and you dont try any funny stuff, some people would probably be sympathetic.
Maybe on the lower tiers, but SoS is always matched vs the top servers, who take wvw way too seriously. No way they’re giving up a fully upgraded keep as a favor, especially not the EB keep.
+ 1 SoSer thats been waiting for green EB keep for a kitten long time. Capping the EB keep of a T1 server as a server that can’t even get a queue during peak time is simpy not an option.

Its because of the cutscene. Just press H, click the weapon switch icon and it goes back to normal.
Just soloed her as a melee warrior and it went much smoother than with pugs. This fight might actually be easier to solo than to pug, since theres no one to reflect orbs to you or to be scorpion wired and have the boss blow up in your face.
The only problem is that fighting her around the crates sometimes makes her go invuln and gain back 10% hp.
Digging out something shouldn’t count, at least it didn’t in all the other zones.

Maybe the bug is related to the chests they removed. When I first did zone 3 on the first day, I found a spot where digging would bring up a chest with some baubles, I went back there after all these patches and the chest is gone.
This is about the warrior rifle burst skill “Kill Shot”.
For example, if you use Kill Shot with only 2 bars of adrenaline and then refill your adrenaline with Healing Surge you can immediately use Kill Shot again, since level 2 doesn’t share a cooldown with level 3.
None of the other burst skills have this behavior. This could be an issue in pvp with players chaining multiple kill shots for massive damage.
It really sucks how I’ve completed nearly every achievement possible – I’m only missing the legendaries, WvW and PvP – yet I’ll never be able to get a rank, because I started playing 3 months later.
The Halloween, Wintersday, etc events are all achievable, you just have to wait for the next year. Those dailies are lost forever.
Why do you want to report them?
Achievement farming is not a bannable offense, they even got out of the ring so they wouldn’t bother anyone else.
How is this an exploit? Its just abusing the kick feature, same as regular dungeons.
Just to add to the oddness on this bug as a bit of info:
I too have lost the various achievements as mentioned already in this post however the weird bit was how I noticed it last night and it was when the Sword kills Weapon Master achievement popped back up for me hitting 5k again.
I was on my engineer, using a rifle at the time! (No I currently wasn’t using a kit and I hadn’t picked up an environmental weapon) So to have the achievements dissapear is one thing but to pick one back up when using a rifle (on a class that can’t even use a sword) was very very strange.
Some utility skills count as weapons for some reason, for example an elementalist’s arcane blast will count as a sword kill.
My bugged hint is the Elementalist attunement switch. I had 82/83 before I ever played elementalist, and had every hint checked except that one.
Once I created an Ele I got that last check mark on the hints list but the achievement remained 82/83. I never did get the actual hint popup advising me to switch attunement.
TA is in dire need of waypoints.
There’s only 1 at the entrance, if you wipe at the end you have a good 10 minutes of running to get back there.
Found another source for plant kills, the Melandru High Priest in Arah Path 4 infinitely spawns these trees, I got 30 points on this fight alone.
You can lower your chances of bugging her by killing the mobs leading to the final room, she bugs when the event script triggers but the npc is busy fighting. Its still not a sure thing though, I’ve had her bug with everything dead.
To reset the instance the party leader has to leave the group and be invited back or log on another character and back again.
Would like a dev response on this as well. What about auto-casting inside a story instance to farm the weapon mastery achievements?
Has anyone tested those poisonous plants at the start of TA exp?
I think the spirits Bloomhunger spawns around him count as well.

It seems like BG has a guild called [Hömö] dedicated to camping vistas in order to grief people trying to get map completion. How classy.
What bothers me about downed states is how OP stealth finishing is.
Every class has a downed interrupt for a reason, I don’t understand why they made thieves immune to this interrupt. Didn’t they realize stealthed players can’t be targetted?
I saw an Ele by the name of Elementally Challenged….I had a huge laugh from that one.

You actually waited for it to open? Usually when that happens we just disband and get into another group.
Once this bugs you have to wait for the next server reset. Its been a while since any update so this is bugged on every server.

About a month ago I opened 3000 Heavy Supply Bags and got:
49 Onyx Cores (1.63%)
11 Onyx Lodestones (0.36%)
Because in addition to being overpowered, its the class with the lowest learning curve. Anyone can pick up a thief and in a couple of hours be able to take on even the most experienced players using the weakest classes.
Also, stealth makes thieves extremely annoying because whenever they get outplayed they can just stealth and run away, when any other class would have to die in that situation.
A PvP system does not work with a dungeon requires learning.
I don’t mind having to play with pugs, pugs can learn and eventually understand the mechanics, the problem is that once you do that you can’t say “okay guys everyone knows what to do lets restart this and keep all the yaks alive”, because once you restart you get a completely new group of people and you’re back to step 1.

Remember that the Legendary-related achievement involves equipping the item, not just getting it. I think that encourages players to equip, therefore keeping a lot of Legendaries out of the marketplace. Just my perception, but something I wanted to share.
Well the legendary in question is Twilight, which doesn’t award the achievement, so this point is moot.
You guys keep throwing percentages around but its entirely possible that the delivery method could be something else, for example it could be: every X minutes the next person to open a gift recieves a bell.
I’ve seen other games use this instead of fixed percentage to ensure the rarity of an item.
Sunrise is the only choice for a greatsword warrior. Twilight makes you look like you’re going through that “dark and edgy” phase of puberty.
