What do we expect?
- Dedication 10,000 Gold to be placed into our Guild Bank at start of your Trial.
- Experience You must have completed your level 10 personal Story to achieve a Black Lion Chest Key, (Pic or it didn’t happen).
- A similar HC mindset When we do our Regular PvD action (because actual fighting is a bit too exhausting, and none of us have learned to place siege yet), we expect u to spam 1 like you really mean it.
- Attendance (of at least 4 raids a week) We don’t expect u to actually log into game if u dont feel like it, just pop onto forum at least once a month to say hi will be more than enough.

Typical day Day in the Life of a [PunK]
Sorry in advance for some of the quality, TS/Coms too.

Im not in game to get specifics names etc atm, but i have the Feast version of that spicy bean one and spent geodes to get the personal recipe of it to be able to craft 10 of them to make 1 feast version the stats are 70 Power and +40% condition duration. At the time of crafting my test version for 1 feast cost me over 11g to craft 1 and it’s account bound so current prices not doing it much justice.

If i can remember correctly to craft 1 feast was 10 x the Personal Version (the account bound Bowl), which totaled out to require 100 x Prickly Pears, 100 x Ghost Peppers, 100 x Kidney Beans and 50 x Salt and Pepper.

Personally I feel that one of the causes of server stacking is due to not having something like this implemented. Guilds Stack particular Tiers/Servers in order to have the opportunity to face a certain variety of opposing guilds, for example if A B C server has X Y Z Guilds you would not transfer your guild to A B C server, but more than likely a server that faces A B C quite regularly. Every other guild follows same pattern and end up most of the GvG scene stacked within the same 2 Tiers. Where if something like the EoTM system was in place Guilds could freely occupy servers they wouldn’t normally occupy for less queue’s creating a better server balance in that region, whilst still having the opportunities to face the guilds they want to face.

I really like the sounds of this. It still keeps the server identity (for the player base) whilst also introducing the color scheme a little (because the game mode needs it), it’s like meeting half way and i do think it will improve WvW greatly and making matchups seem tigher/closer/more nail biting experience all through the week not just the weekend.

For the record Kale sometimes will run with Myst, as one, on same TS “if one of us have small numbers”, the other group will tag on, we get on well together. But what some are accusing aint guilds holding hands its severs holding hands, (also for the record I aint been in WvW as much this week to chuck accusations around, it’s other ppls judgement of this not mine). Btw not very nice to go calling guilds scrubby, most of us here to have fun win or lose.

That would be awesome, they could unknowingly use god mode and make u all explode first contact.

They should do something like that for charity (hell i’d donate money), an Anet GvG tour, first NA then over to us in EU lol, 5 of the top guilds in each region, even if it’s for fun. People do things they for charity they wouldn’t normally consider doing. Youtube/Stream views would be through the roof lol. It would be a great publicity stunt with the community lol.

They should make it points per stomp and thats it, no points for holding objectives (keeps etc) but u must hold said keep for stomp to count like with bloodlust buffs and ruins atm. For example ur points per stomp is more valued dependent on the amount of structures u have. So PvD wouldn’t make a difference if there is no enemies on the map to get points from stomps.

I think Tourney’s are a great idea it make the match ups more interesting (and this is coming from someone who is going to be facing Gandara most of the season), they just need to be wise about where they are giving the transfers to and get the timing right in giving them, giving newly stacked servers time to get their selves stable in the ratings.

Well over here in the EU you have two Servers who have far more coverage than any other in their corresponding League: Gandara and SFR.

If you are paired with these type of dominant Servers the other 2 have to fight over 2nd place which is just Two Points, which may technically bring more Competitive and Variable Match-Ups , but it just isn’t Fair when you are better off playing the system by coming 3rd so that you can end up in a more winnable Match-Up, in which you stand a better chance Maximum 5 points.

So yeah, this points system is flawed and open to exploitation and manipulation.

Well they could have had a simple solution for Gandara, and that was the transfer window should have been 1-2 weeks sooner they weren’t giving time to settle into a more balanced fitting position where Augry Rock and Gandara would have ideally switched places, and Augry Rock would have probably had a great chance of winning silver but the silver league would have been slightly more balanced that it is now. But as for SFR I don’t know what the hell u can do there?

So basically we have the same matchups 2-3 times. Gandara will win because each night they take over 10k points on each server, doesn’t matter what you do during morning/day/prime time/late evening

I’m on FSP and I would love a matchup: FSP – Piken – Gunnar’s Hold, because I think this would be our most beautifull matchup (decent fights, PPT till friday, servers with equal number of people). But that will never happen in this system.

I thought this tourney was for 9 weeks?

Had piken gotten second in that first matchup, we would likely have been stuck with gandara for the next few weeks and had our score effectively destroyed.

That was my initial thought of what will happen to FSP, but some guy said it wont^^ and we could quite possibly end up 2nd. However im too lazy to try and work out a full tourney scenario lol.

Oh well it’s Tuesday, FSP usually wakes up on Wednesday’s (or so it seems the last few weeks), even if we cant compete with Gandara we could at least try and claw some back.

Gunnars is free of queues mostly. EB has one and there will generally be a border with 10 or less in queue, but i haven’t seen 2 or more borders queued at the same time for a while. It’s pretty remarkable that we’re even competitive given our numbers.

Pretty much the same as us Fab. Was outmanned a lot last night and in fairness it wasn’t because the opposing server had Mega numbers it was due to us have no numbers lol.

Just out of curiosity have everyone’s queue’s died down a lot during prime time? I know that on FSP last night I pretty much had freedom of most maps, apart from EB ofc.

I can bet the percentage of people who expected it to increase one’s ability to hold twice the amount of items for a single stack of mats from 250 to 500, to be extremely low and limited. It is clearly stated to what it does, and what it does is gives you room in your bank, not inventory to hold more collectibles. It’s easy to say this because it doesn’t require much to understand this. It’s plain and simple and you guys thought too much into it and expected it to do waaaaay more than it was supposed to.

The Guild Wars Universe has always had a maximum stack size of 250.

Seems like it was as clear to u as it was to me. So your also part of the low and limited few because I also thought it was to expand in your bank and collectibles not inventory. So it seems it was not as clearly stated as you seem to think so.

Sucks there won’t be matchup FSP, piken and gunnar, cause it would be amazing one…

FSP will not end up in top 3 because unfortunately the very best they can do in any week, is come 2nd to Gandara, so will lack points in the table, it’s the way the cookie crumbles, Anet still need to fine tweak these systems.

I think if we werent all categorized in bronze/silver gold and could still move up the ranking through the tourney whilst still earn 5 for win, 3 second, 1 point for last place it would work better and even if ur server stacked u still wouldn’t stay in a silver league position and get to fight servers around ur balance.

I built up some gems via gold today, decided to buy a Collection Expander to help with bank space. Bought, double clicked, and immediately disappointed. It only expands stacks to 500 in the Collection Bank Tab. The general bank tab and inventory still only stack to 250. This helps me 0%; what a waste.

Why in the world would they not have ALL stacks expand to 500 with the Expander?

I don’t suppose there’s anyway of refunding the “upgrade” for my 800 gems back? I wouldn’t have bought it if I’d have known it was so limited and useless.

Don’t feel left out I also made same mistake, although it’s easy enough to say it’s clearly stated, i can bet we are not the only ones to have made this misconception. I was really disappointed I purchased mine and I certainly don’t have the money to chuck away like that, but i just live with it now but now know not to make the mistake of purchasing one again.

Well Gandalf turned into Mordor is winning this for sure. Rest positions will be decided on coverage. So, 2nd place could belong to any server from FSP, Gunnar’s and Piken. Rest, I have no idea. Last place could be Fort Panic or RoF.

It will never happen, and most of the best EU guilds have either moved on from GW2 or disbanded or not what they used to be. NA GvG scene seems more active than EU atm, it seems alot of (not all) of the EU GvG guilds have the attitude of “been there done that, lets squash this blob for endless loot all day long instead,” and chuck in the odd GvG when they fancy a change.

As for EU servers against NA servers, we all play differently in our respected regions so who’s to know, unless we are pitted together? which will never happen. Hell even EU Silver and EU gold have different play styles not just coverage. If a Viz want a WP in your keep they will put one there, and there ain’t nothing you can do to stop them. However, an EU silver league (Guild orientated) server, will say “let them have it and we will farm them all day long while they try to protect it.” And I’m sure NA has it’s servers that correspond to it’s EU counterparts in regards to play styles.

But as for GvG’s im pretty sure EU is just ahead but slowly dying out, but NA will take over since alot of the big EU guilds are stopping/stopped.

This is no fault of Gandara’s, although i would say i had a preferred the match up against Viz last week. Anet’s didn’t do wrong in opening transfers they way they did, what was wrong about it was the timing, there wasn’t enough time for Gandara or other server’s with this problem to be rightfully placed where their current coverage needed them to be placed. Personally I think Gandara could quite easily be comfortable in most of the gold league rankings atm. I feel sorry for the original Gandaran’s with the obscene queue’s etc.

Free transfers wasn’t the bad idea, it was the timing that was bad, it should of been at least 1-2 weeks earlier with a smaller window. Not only bad for those that have to now face server’s like Gandara who are wrongly placed, but also bad for Gandara themselves because although they will come out winner, it’s gonna be a very boring 9 weeks for them. Because unless i have this whole tourney system wrong, they are currently facing 2 of the 3 best they are gonna face for next 9 weeks, and unless 1 of their current oppositions is in a match up with them in the next 9 weeks it ain’t gonna get much more exciting than it is now for them.

I think EU guilds in general tends to think themselves as superior in every way since every EU guilds that came over to NA had massive superiority complex. I remember when the “best” WvW (Sarcx guild) guild came over while they were good in GvG, they got completely destroyed in actual WvW by every single SoR guild every single time. SoR guilds didn’t map blob them, they had guild commanders tell each other to back off and only let 1 guild engage them one at a time while others watched.

They are no different then NA players except the fact that EU guilds tends to be more tryhard than anything else, but no better imo.

Well it goes to show if what you are saying is true then there must of been some sort of advantage on these said guilds behalf, like numbers for instance. Because when [RG] (Sarcx Guild) took it to even numbers, i.e GvG, I bet these said guilds didn’t stand a chance.

It’s easy enough saying we beat x guild in open field bla bla bla, but when u make it even/fair combat between 2 said guilds it really shows who is the better.

I could say that in my previous guild we took down VII many time in open field, but we obviously had some advantage at that time to do so, but i certainly wouldn’t brag about it, because every time we faced then in a GvG (when each has equal advantage) it was like putting a cat in a dog fight (us being the cat) and them being a very hungry big dog, you dread the moment you call your book number, they make you public enemy #1, prime target, easy picking, no utilities.

So going back to what you said: “they got completely destroyed in actual WvW by every single SoR guild every single time.” Every guild didn’t just beat them every time? they completely destroyed them every time?
I very sorry to call you out here, but i don’t see how you can say [RG] went over to NA and not only didn’t win a single fight in their time there, but also got destroyed every time? Wow what a waste of gold to transfer their guild, and not even to experience a single win.

i think you got this backwards dude. EU is a hundred times more open to rangers then NA. I can say this, because i spent a year in EU as a Ranger Main, and i got more flak for playing ranger in NA during my first 3 weeks, then an entire year in EU. FYI; i played on Far Shiverpeaks and Desolation. So no, i didn’t play on empty T8 servers.

That’s because we do actually have a Ranger PUG Commander :P

If they did implement this into WvW in the future (i did say if), personally I would guess they would need to change it to a color scheme like EoTM. However, you would still get to play with the people your playing with on ur current server due to the prioritizing of Guild/World/Language etc but if your world has a low WvW population at any time of day u would get the overflow of the same color from a different world on your maps. Just a wild guess, but who knows? just have to wait and see. I am all for server pride winning or losing, the color scheme is probably my most hated part of EoTM’s, i hate joining a map full of randoms/unfamiliar’s no offence.

Well i have learned something new today, I was also pretty clueless this sort of stuff went on. Each to their own I suppose, not my cup of tea though.

We all realize from the word go that Gandara is #1 spot, but looks like 2/3/4 positions gonna be quite interesting.

I think what he means is like last season there was on the leaderboards and on MoS a table/chart to show for example: EU silver league – Desolation – 5 points etc.
