Heh. 15k gold is a ton. Right now 1g gold costs about 25 cents when buying it legitimately through gems. So 15k gold would be $3,750 USD. I only wanted to add this to illustrate how ridiculous 15k gold is.

At least we transferred to the weakest server in T1. SOR was near edge of falling into T2, with Dragonbrand rapidly raising to take it’s place. We transferred, stopped it and managed to balance kitten more or less equal state, with slight BG leadership overall.

That first screen is epic, from the last week though but still epic and the thing which makes it even more epic, the proof of SoR attitude, that screen was taken smth like 5 mins after the screen which Ealano or w/e keep posting about GREAT ZD blob. Your ppl just ported out. And gave the tower freely.

I must say the NA match up forums keep me entertained at work and while waiting for guilds and assorted enemies to actually leave EB or other borders and stumble into our welcoming arms, albeit just to re-queue for a greener pasture half hour later. European match up threads just pale in comparison, really.
Thankfully it looks like the point difference is high enough to allow us to go hunting for enemies in other borders for the rest of the week. Hope to fight you soon!

They placed 3rd place, placing third to Elona Reach and Vizunah Square when they Rage quitted. I don’t blame them, ZBs is the hardest PPT fighter, it must’ve broken their hearts. Sad story.
I don’t think ZD’s is looking for your respect, they came to fight IRON and sadly IRON is deciding not to show up in force.
ZD’s was contracted by BG, that was conformed by their guild leader. And ZD’s was informed (before transfer) about 4h difference between our primetimes. Stop writing nonsense.
I have insider information in both ZBs+ZDs and from BG’s Warcouncil (sounds childish, I know, but that’s their leadership) ZBs+ some ZDs were bought with some heavy $$$$ and were promised more gold if they stay throughout the season to bring BG “victory”, also BG is funding ZBs return once the season ends. You can say, they’ll return home loaded so they can buy guilds for their home since you know, SPARTA, the guild they bought last, left SFR and now they’re in need of some gold. Well, what can you expect from a “WvW” server that takes pride in killing Teq?

Most eles use this trait. You said you wanted to discourage putting points into arcane, but every ele who only had 10 points will now have to jump up to 20.
Every ele player I know that has just 10 points in arcana use renewing stamina, not elemental attunement.
I use 10 in arcana and I have elemental attunement.
To fix the balance issue can’t be any simpler. Leagues should be what they imply, teaming up of servers. Strong servers and a weaker server are to be teamed against some others of different matchups like BG VS. JQ VS. SoR as one match up and the other FA VS. MAG VS. TC. Like jq+FA vs. BG+ Maguuma SoR+TC.
The teaming process is to allow people of allied servers to be able to guest to the other’s match up and help the allied servers if their coverage is in trouble and the allied servers with thw most War Points wins.

Still waiting for Devon’s responses, Chris Whiteside is all over the LS Collaborative thread as the coordinator, why is he not taking the initiative to approach us?
Again. CORE would like to cordially invite ONE to fight in open field or frankly anywhere outside cannon range. It does not have to be a GvG, just please inform us what map you are on so we can come and fight you. If this is too difficult to arrange, I’m sure CORE would be happy to come into a keep you are holding and fight you there as well.

20k base health, highest armor rating, insane mobility and immunity to conditions isn’t enough to bring this class back into the meta. Please, buff warriors more.
I got a video playing WvW and I watched it and saw that doing F1 on hammer stuns enemies, but I don’t see any damage indicater, similarly, elems have the same problem with Churning Earth 5 sometimes.
Also, Hammer stun F1 doesn’t work down any slope, not the slightest. And you can see the AoE going on the vertical line and not on a horizontal line.
Mel is a great elementalist and as an ele is far superior to daphoenix and his build fixes the lack of defence and armor that an ele has with 3k armor. Ele’s problem was never the lack of health, ele has enough the problem was that ele was constantly getting dmg of 3k+ if he didn’t dodge, while Mel’s build has problems they’re mostly appearant when you run into someone with +40% condition duration.

Whether you’re convinced or not doesn’t matter, go find yourself a stun-warrior and ask for a duel on your staff. I doubt you’ll scrap half his health. I’ve dueled staff elementalist from oPP(extremely insane good people, and are known for their combat skills as roamers and 1v1 players in T1, along with RIOT) I just out healed all of his damage without attacking him for a good 5 minutes until he stopped attacking. Keep in mind, one guy said his ele here says his “support” staff ele out-dps’s a warrior.

Tried it on the dummies today but I didn’t notice a change in behavior with or without the trait, at times I was 99% sure a 120 range meteor should have hit the golem dummy but it did not. How was this tested and are you sure it’s actually true?

I disagree with suprNOVAE, WvW is a very essential and important part of GW2, and ANet realizes this. That’s why, the commander tag will get a complete overhaul soon in 2016.
Have you tried this? Static only works when you move through it, and most people would use a stability, not to mention ele doesn’t have quickness like warrior. And, cripples and chills don’t lock someone in a circle.
I guess Elementalist can have damage against static objects. Have luck killing someone in 5 seconds with a Meteor Shower
Funny how when a warrior uses his stun, you do not mention stability but when an ele uses Static Field, all of a sudden stability is a viable option.
As for the not locking down and killing something in 5 seconds, that’s not the purpose of the skill. Meteor Shower is either for pressure against groups, or for area control, neither of which a 100b warrior can accomplish. That’s why Meteor Shower is useful in WvW group battles while 100b warriors twiddle their thumbs hoping someone rushes over to their side so they get a chance to fight.
As for hitting someone with Meteor Shower, it’s actually fairly easy. Just cast it at your feet and stand still. Most players will take the bait and charge you, thinking they’ll outdamage you. Because most of the warriors you encounter in the actual game aren’t nearly as powerful, skilled or smart as the guy you saw in the video. Quite the opposite.
