whole lot of whining in this thread.. “We got bored of winning” “JQ has too much oceanic” “we’re in it for the fights” “we proved ourselves in season 1”.. really? These all sound like excuses from a server losing their place as number 1. The only real difference between this week and last week is that SoR is tanking it. It’s easy to say your server is tanking the match once you are losing. I don’t buy it as an excuse though. I’ve played wvw every night for months now and I haven’t seen any considerable changes in the turnout from week to week. BG may have won season 1 by recruiting a bunch of mercenary guilds that left once the season was over, but this weeks match shows who the real #1 server is. This week is basically a 1v1 between JQ and BG. No help nor possible complaints of a 2v1 from either side. Come up with whatever excuse you want, the match up numbers don’t lie.

As the title says. Full PVT sets do relatively more damage to zerker sets in percentage of health. So yeah, PVT has way too much defense.

The problem with water 6 & scholar is that you got 20% damage only when at more than 90% life. In WvW it occurs nearly… never. Even with retaliation you can get under this 90%.
And about sigil, sigil of fight (3stack of might while switch) offer more damage than sigil of force (5% damage).
+10% damage roughly equals +150 power, so let’s calculate.

Agreed. We had to chase the TC 60+ map zerg from map to map (since there’s no fight in MagSwag) to get fights. Sadly TC doesn’t fight unless there’s a tower nearby with atleast 600 supplies.

The match prior to last week, this was what I thought about FA when we continuously raided every Orange swords on all 4 borders because FA kept disappearing on the map (sea/ocx time).

Our core team was off, but we did manage well. And it gave a good practice for our new guys. It was an 17-18 vs. 20+. Enemy numbers were different each round.. Sadly, I wasn’t in it and we didn’t have enough people to rock up 20 Meows, as our guild is only made up of 35 members. And this is our first time going for more than 15 people in a GvG. But nonetheless, enjoy. :P
