My question wasn’t fully answered, they closed my ticket without let me explain. They’re contradicting all posted here by you and other devs.
I meet all the criteria and they don’t want to refund my gems, i thinks it’s not “fully answered”.

I don’t know why support closed my ticket, they say that can’t refund my gems because the “Sonic Tunneling Tool” is a toy, but when i bought it was a town cloth, also because it’s not duplicated.
Toys or “Sonic Tunneling Tool” changed like town cloths, I got it equipped like a cloth town and now is a consumable, i don’t like this change and i want my gems back.
No logic.
Why can’t i get my gems back?

From what i understand spirit ranger isn’t a very good bunker these days, its more mid support.
I completely disagree with this. Spirit ranger really can’t do much in mid. However, it can be extremely useful on near/far. But wherever you are, the guardian is useful.
Too many aoe (engis, eles, mm, hambows). BM is a better choice for holding close/far.

Mesmers will dissapear again from teams/meta , they can be farmed (again) by thieves.

What did happen with the spanish translation?
“Chest” is not “Cofre”, “Cofre” means “Strong Box”, Chest should be translate like “Pecho”.
Same thing with “Back” translated as “Atras”, “Atras” means something like “reverse” or like “come back”. “Back” should be translate as “Espalda”.
Please, fix that.

It’s a new map only for custom arena, without soloq or teamq not a new gamemode.
do you mean the bloody tech GvG yesterday? because i played it and won the finals and i can tell you, that 6v6 is so much fun, you need lot’s of tactic, good position- and targeting, also communication and movement.
In WvW you have 25vs25 GvG and it’s more like pushing with the melee train and spam massive aoe on enemys. all followed by 1 commander telling everybody what to do.
I don’t care about what you win. I’m telling what people said when they saw the new map at RU streaming. I know what GvG is, I’ve been playing GvG at GW1 since launch.
This map is what WvW players want, a place for spam aoe, not what PvP players want, a competitive gameplay.

- how can you compare PvP (5v5, 8v8) to WvW?
1-We need new maps for new gamemodes.
2-New map is not TDM, new map is a new map without capture points.
3-Did you see RU? WvW players were chearing because of GvG (zerg vs zerg).
Like i said, conquest is not competitive. This map is a new feature for WvW players but not for PvP players.
Those balance changes (traits, sigils, runes, etc…) can be good and change the meta (8 moths later) but we still need a competitive gamemode. Even TA was more competitive…
Conquest is dead, they need a new main gamemode not a new map.

Dear Minon master whose point I decapped your point and held while close to death for 5 minutes,
A decap engi is not a hack. It also requires lots of skill where I have to make sure I don’t heal above 25%. I have to stagger my mini heals. Otherwise I will get condi bombed by you. Obviously this is a dangerous game since I’m always a misstep away from death.
Decap engis are not all spam this spam that you know.

Warriors are just ruining the game. It is no longer skill related. If you want to win you don’t have to be good you just have to play hambow warrior.
In addition its not like “yeah they’re pretty op right now, so every team needs one”. To win you need as much warriors as you can get.
Please ANET PLEASE fix this on 18th. It is just frustrating and ruins the game for everyone to see one build devastate you every single time without a chance of any counter.Just a little example of what i mean:
I was playing yoloq when i encountered a team of 3 warriors. We had no warrior.
Im not saying rank=skill, but losing with nothing more than 26 points for a team like this is not normal for people around r50.

The idea of an end of season tournament has popped up a couple of times. I wanted to get you guys to touch on that a bit. What would the structure for this be? How many teams?
You can do a swiss style, 3 weeks (weekends):
Week 1

Saturday: Best 64 teams from EU, swiss style, 32 are qualified to next round.
Sunday: Best 64 teams from NA, swiss style, 32 are qualified to next round.
Week 2

Saturday: 64 teams (32 EU + 32 NA), swiss style, 32 are qualified to next round.
Sunday: 32 teams, playoff till semi-final.
Week 3 (presential)

Saturday: semi-final
Sunday: 3th vs 4th, final
Is this where the top end rewards for the season come from or should these have a completely different rewards structure. For example, it could be that the top of ladder simply qualifies you for the end of season tournament and the true champions of the season are the tournament winners. Or, the ladder just ensures that we have the very best teams for a tournament that is apart from the season.
Regular season rewards: “map star” , exclusive skins, gold, etc…
Tournament: Cash, merchandising ,etc… like PAX invitational or Gw Factions world championship.
I’m also curious about how much time do you think you will need between the end of the season and the tournament start. For example, Let’s say the season goes for 8 weeks. Would you need a week from the end of the season to get ready for the tournament? Two weeks? A couple of days?

S/P thieves can farm spirit rangers, like warriors because we don’t have stun-break.
I’m trying to play again a BM build because of that.
I really like the ideas 1 and 3. I’m not sure, however, if they are suitable for GvG because it could be unfair for 1 guild. I think that GvG should really be a typical deathmatch, like in Gw1.
Your propositions are great for an spvp mode they announced but I forgot the name. Fortress? Something like that. I’m sure they can be used so keep creating ;p

Yes, but you had to add a new permission to guild ranks: “Start a ranked PvP match”, you need one of these guys to start a match (like gw1 with officers and guild ladder).
Would you create one or more guild teams? If you could create teams within your guild what sort of functionality would you want or need to manage those teams?
Guild = one team, if you want more teams do it like gw1, create a pug.
How many members would need to be present to represent? Would you allow alternates?
4/5, 4/6, 2/2, 3/3, 6/8. It depends, we didn’t know if there will be a new gamemode.
Do you envision any sort of guild wide reward for fielding a winning team or should only the team be rewarded? For example, if your guild has a PvP team and they come out on top of the ladder maybe they get some special reward for being the top team but the whole guild gets something for having the number one team. What could a reward like that be?
For guild: In gw1 we got trims for capes, what about backpacks? or something like 100% map star.
For players: Maybe new skins (armors/weapons) but not for all players, only for players that had play a minium of X games for his guild.
I want to add, at end of season you have a regular season winner and maybe top32 can play a tournament (Semi-finals and final can be presential if possible) with a cash prize.
If cash is a problem, you can add pvp items to gem store, all that cash goes to prize pool.

Being direct, sPvP has lack of features, Anet said that big things are coming to sPvP (really?) but I would like to see one thing improved: statistics

I’m a programmer and I know that is really easy to implement, when a match ends you only have collect all this data (it’s already done) and upload to your datebase. Anet only have to create that database and add a few lines of code for uploading (in fact, it can be done with 2-3 lines) and create this website using leaderboards as a pattern (easy job), all can be done in a few hours.
As an extra you can add charts to players and that things that people like to see.
That’s all, I would like to read your opinions (devs included).
Since glory has been the only form of reward in PvP since now, what will replace glory and reward chests while waiting for the feature patch?

I think that it will be after WvW season 2, they didn’t want to do balance during WvW season 1…

The maintenance build is not the same thing as the feature build.

The designers wanted to give it a stat chooser, which meant that it couldn’t be used in PvP like a skin item can. They are looking into another way to allow you to use it in PvP, so hold on to it for that. Unfortunately, it won’t be coming very soon (sorry, I can’t give the date on it).
I’ll just put it this way, if it’s something you really like, it won’t hurt to work on getting it. Hope that helps!

1- Bows being useful —> Longbow never was viable (until fury bug), if we need a bug to make it viable…something is wrong with that weapon. Same for shortbow since “animation fix” update.

At last patches they give to pve new runes (perplexity, etc…), sigils (burst, condition, etc..) and stats (dire, assassin, etc…)
A few of them looks really good for pvp and next patch is a big balance patch so… will they add them to pvp?
