I’m so glad you decided to do this, AN. Living worlds were the most fun I’ve ever had in this game, having the world constantly changing around you and it just felt like things were happening in the world. You guys managed to push out a new LS every 2 weeks and they were amazing. It was great quantity AND quality.

I know a lot of people enjoy legendaries and I do too, but I would much rather have an amazing story and fun content to play and progress than to have a shiny weapon and I’m sure the majority of the player-base would agree. Most players play for the story and content and it’s legendary weapon hunters who are in the minority, sorry guys.

I’m looking forward to creating amazing memories and having fun progressing in the living worlds again.

Most people actually agree that false advertisement is not a good way to do business, and regardless of whether you like PvE content or Legendaries it is very scary to see a company completely disregard what they had promised to deliver while asking you to suck it up and be happy with what you have and some more story content they might put out at a later date.

That is very true, but I do believe they TRIED. I don’t think they had planned it out to cancel them when they released HoT. This was most likely, as Mike already stated, a difficult decision. I guess my excitement for Living Worlds is overriding my displeasure for their failed promise.

Perma-stealth? What? WHAT? W H A T?
What would that even accomplish? Thieves would be even more OP and annoying in WvW or PvP. They could just fly past everything in some PvE zones.

You know how in the Mad Kings Clocktower JP, all other players get turned into a blue orb so you can only see your character? Yeah, they should find a way to do that in all JP zones.

I don’t mean the shared slots, the refractor is already in a backpiece and that backpiece is soulbound. So, instead of buying another refractor, can I just remove it from the backpiece it is in with an upgrade extractor?

Does the Upgrade Extractor work on Poly-luminescent Undulating Refractors? I have one in my Green Quaggan Backpack and it is soulbound so I can’t put it on any other characters.

Hey all, I was wondering if I can change the stats on my ascended armor to Vipers? Is that an option yet?

They seem to have a rotation. They remove skins, put new ones up, take the new ones down and then put the old ones back up. I bet vipers will come back.

Silver Fed Salvage-o-Matic, a lot of endless tonics, experimental rifles/teleportation guns, different weapons for different occasions, keys/crowbars/machetes for opening stuff.

Also if you are trying to taxi people into a map and your map is full, they could have been trying to enter your map but realized it’s full so they left.

Yay a positive post! I am loving the expansion. I have been playing the game since the beginning of 2013 and I still love it. This expansion gives me stuff to do when I hit level 80 and I love that.

I don’t know if that’s the right word. The old auras were just boring old spheres, didn’t look that interesting in my opinion. Also I play elementalist a lot, so I am extra thankful.

Haha, I can understand why people don’t enjoy them. I’m just 1 person, my opinion doesn’t matter much. I can see them, but they could keep them the way they are now and add a bit more color to help others see them.
Also, options! Add options so people can change the visual effects to their liking. Or make it so your characters effects are big and flashy, but others are toned down to still reduce visual noise.

I have rules for when I do these things. I refuse to kill anything, do events, open chests or harvest nodes while under a map. I believe that’s cheating and that is not my intention. I’m just so curious about what is under the map and I just want to look!
Ever been under Hoelbrak or Silverwastes? There’s some seriously trippy effects.
Also, is this against the rules? If it is I am terribly sorry and will stop.

Chest trains still happen. Also nerfed it? I am making MORE money from it now than I did before the expansion.

I make varying amounts of money in SW. It isn’t the exact same every time. I have to say, I’m kind of suspicious of people that name a figure and say they make this exact same amount every 1 hour or 2 hours or whatever no matter what.

It’s not exact. You CAN make 50g in 2 hours if you are lucky with drops. The amount earned varies. It can be more or less, but its always a good profit.

Silverwastes! Seriously, not even chest farming, just doing the events gets me that much gold. You can get even more though with chest farming. I would make 100g a day sometimes chest farming. What I do is salvage EVERYTHING, I mean everything that is below 1g. Sell items 1g or more on the TP. After salvaging everything, you’ll end up with valuable mats like silk, linen, ores and other expensive mats. You sell those all.

Can I ask… How many hours are involved in a days play for you?

Could I make this 100g a day from 2 hours or will I need to invest 8+ hours?

I make about 50g in 2 hours so for 100g it would be 4 hours, with chest farming.
Just doing the events though I make about 30g every 2 hours.

50g in 2hrs… either youre talking kitten or youre part of the illuminati cause sw loot got nerfed for days. I usually run around in a chest train for 2hrs and get around 14-20g+ and I have mf% capped. not to mention the nerfs to salvaging, I barely get ectos from rares now.

Honestly, I don’t get it. I have friends who will do the EXACT same stuff as me in SW and still won’t make as much as I do.
Same hours and events and I’ll make 30g while they make just 10g. I really have no explanation. I keep telling my friends to do what I do, but even then they make less.
Also, salvaging nerfed? I’m still getting the same amount of ectos as I used to get. 1-3 ectos for the majority of rares/exotics I salvage.

I feel like you just want to stare at boobs and butts.

2 months for a legendary? My god that is fast! I remember back in the day getting my legendaries took about a year!

They have in the past, so they probably will this year too.
