Reasons I enjoy being in TBT

• Helped me pay for my transfers.
• Helped me make a great build, even donated gold to fund it.
• Didn’t get mad at me when I died, they are patient and helped me get better.
• They make raids fun.
• They raid often.
• Things aren’t too serious, only when they need to be. Very relaxed.
• Great commanders, no fear of getting wiped when running with them.

He had insane condition damage, so it didn’t take many hits to get one down. He would go out of stealth rarely if we really tried to bring him down and cc him, but then he’d immediately go back to stealth. And I don’t know how long a thief can stealth, but he would be stealthing the whole time. I’m talking 5 minute fights.

In Eternal Battlegrounds, there was a charr thief, who even when he attacked me and my party members, he wouldn’t get out of stealth. He seemed to have no cool down on his traps either.

Is this a known bug?

Rangers could go out and find pets in the real world.

I had no idea they allowed you to dye the glider version. In that case, they should let you dye the back piece as well!

I don’t think it makes sense to dye this Shining Blade back piece in particular. It’s blue and gold for a good reason, because it’s the Shining Blade.

If I’m doing a dungeon with someone who has an annoying legendary like the Dreamer, I just turn off whatever the sound setting is in the settings. It’s like player weapon or player effects?

It doesn’t really make sense that we would go after Jormag next. If we were to fight any dragons next it would make the most sense for it to be Kralkatorrik, because Glints egg and the Crystal Desert.

I thought you couldn’t really KILL Mordremoth because he lives in the Dream or something like that?

I don’t even have any of the Hall of Monument skins or items, and I probably never will, but I don’t think it’s right to make it easier to obtain. These items are COMPLETELY OPTIONAL
You don’t NEED an armor or weapon skin. When you see someone wearing them, you know exactly how and where they got it from. You know the work they put in.
Theres hundreds of other skins to choose from, and they get only a handful of skins, let them have it. They deserve it.

I was wandering around when I saw Sentinel Darktongue. I’ve never seen this armor before and when I tried to google it, it showed the same NPC in different armor than what I saw in game.

I thought that I had seen human females with dreads, maybe I confused her with a short female Norn? Female norns and humans are waay too alike, except for their height.

I believe norn females have dreads, human females have zero.

I’m not really sure how to word this request or question, but why is there no natural black girl hair options for human females? Like dreads, fros or just nappy hair. If I want those, I have to change my race and my gender.

Asura, male humans, norns, charr and heck, sylvari females even have vine hair that sort of resembles dreads. Why are human females being left out here?

Oh wow, if Charrs stood like that I would totally play one! Thats the main reason I can’t play a charr, I really dislike how they are hunched over.

I agree, sometimes the silver effect on my armor looks horrid. Other times its bright and shiny and gorgeous.

I can only see that particular face by exploring the “unexplorable” areas of the map. I couldn’t see it anywhere on normal grounds. I ran through the area and the area inside the mini dungeon a bunch, I can’t find anymore, except for the obvious one inside where you have to solve the tear puzzle.

So, I was out exploring Caledon, I got up pretty high and I stumbled upon this… face? It’s above the Tears of Itlaocol mini dungeon, so I assume it is Itlaocol? Whatever that is. I can’t see it from within the mini dungeon, so I don’t get why it’s there if it wasn’t meant to be seen.

Anyone have any ideas or theories on what or who this is?

Lions Arch was the city’s name for over 250 years. You would not have seen a lion in GW2 (yet) as lions are mostly found in Elona south of the crystal desert. If you go to the ruins of Old Lions Arch that was flooded when Orr resurfaced, you’ll find plenty of lion status. Many city’s look different to when they where first named. The same way as most of the maps where renamed too. Only one I can think of right now that is the same is Loners pass, but then its swallowed dreadnoughts drift and part of snake dance too.

Can we please get a way to preview what the new look would look like on your character in-game? Sometimes your character looks amazing in the character creation preview but then you hit accept and it looks awful in-game..

Most of the time, the collections cost just as much or even more than buying off TP. So collections are still the same amount of gold with just some added collectible stuff and time gates.
I personally would just buy straight off TP, seems like a faster and easier way.

As someone with obsessive completion disorder I kind of agree… I have done map completion over probably 10 times or more because I can’t stand not completing it..

That shows a large lack of understanding. We already know that for mounts, you need more than a skin to purchase in the gem store for them to work ingame. Anet would have to charge phenomenal amounts just to cover the dev costs for mounts.

Eh? we already have a Broom, a Flying Carpet, and a tunneler, what’s the big deal?

Because the broom is a tiny little stick and the carpet is a tiny, flat rug. I’m assuming people who are asking for mounts are asking for FULL SIZED animals to ride like horses or other FULL SIZED animals from around Tyria?

No. Please for the love of Dwayna no! Everytime I am in an MMO and I see a mount I want to barf, they are just screen clutter and it’s a mess. Could you imagine how disgusting a zerg would look if you added mounts? Oh sweet Melandru…

At least in other MMOs mounts make some sense because it gets you around faster, but in GW2 it doesn’t even make sense, we have so many speed buffs, waypoints and Asura gates.

I wish they made LA more vibrant and colourful like it used to be. It’s just concrete everywhere you turn. The old LA had something special to it, it had character. New LA is just a sad gray world, it honestly depresses me, I avoid it unless I have to use the forge.

That is not yet in the game. Me thinks it’s a glove upgrade you get from W3-W4 but those are not out yet.

Could we have a permanent effect of hearts? Like when you throw the Jar of Harpy Pheromones, hearts start floating up from your character and pop in the air.
Make it a shoulder like Nightfury or Winter’s Presence.

It’s quantity over quality with the outfits.
I’d rather have a few new armor skins get released sometimes, rather than a lot of crappy outfits being released all the time.

Anet has said before that making armor sets/skins are the most expensive and difficult thing to make, so they just pump out outfits because they are easy.

Anet knows people want armor skins and not outfits, but it’s cheaper for them to do it this way.

Okay but you are missing his point. The reason he dislikes the pink and butterflies isn’t BECAUSE it’s girly, he doesn’t have an identity issue. He just doesn’t want his characters to be like that. So what? A lot of people put stories and personalities and backgrounds on their characters, some people have dark, mysterious characters, some people have pink, cute characters, or literally any other style you can think of. Just because you dislike a certain style for yourself doesn’t mean you’re a “scared male trying to prove his masculinity and sexuality” I dislike all this policing and telling people what they should and shouldn’t like. Please, just like what YOU like and as long as you don’t try to force it on others, everyone should be happy.

I don’t think it’s the weapons themselves, I think its the precursor journey collection thing that is taking up all the time. They should have just released new legendaries and scrapped the whole precursor journey process.

Yes! I just finished watching FLCL the other day for like the 100th time.
I would love to be able to make my scrapper be like Haruko!

I’m going to list 2 things because I’m a rebel.
1. The lore, I’ve spent hours just reading on the wiki.
2. The openness and freedom to do whatever you want and STILL progress and level. In the base game, they kind of just hand you the game and go “do whatever you want, you’re going to progress no matter what” instead of having a system where you’re tied down and it’s like “go do this quest, okay go do that quest now”

I know the expansion kind of squashed that, but even then it’s still not as restricting as other MMO’s are, not even close.

I love that I can go exploring maps, because every map has weird hidden things if you look hard enough and you still level!
