EBG was fun today. We faced a 2v1 where TC was in lords while BG was spawn camping.
Now TC and us 2v1’d Blackgate and took their EB keep.

Golem Abuse in SoRBL BG had like 7 omegas in range of our 2 cannons in Garri

I don’t get DB in their BL. We are trying to flip BG’s WPed keep to make it easy for both us during SEA. DB just kept hitting us at hills(5 times I think). So we took your garrison.

i hear the new guilds are PST. When i play at around 8-9 PST there usually is a queue in 2-3 maps. Only sometimes all 4 are queued.

I said it before and I’ll say it again, JQ lacks complete coverage in 2/4 time zones and you little pvdoor whine types still can’t get us out of T1. Every server since the 2nd week of the game has tried, but we aren’t going anywhere.

Well they were coming over to support [USSR] but those guilds are no longer allied and only half of [MAID] is coming over. Oh well, maybe our EU can finally help fend against BG’s late SEA pushes. Fighting off 4 whole queued maps is tough and I commend IRON/KISS for fighting against the odds.

What in the world are you talking about? SoR EU can already take everything during their timezone. They hold high ppt longer than BG SEA can.

Also, to the person who complained about a large BG zerg in JQ bl… you are from SoR- home of the map zergs. What’s the big issue?

Once again, just because SoR barely lost does not mean that BG has some huge advantage over you. Your EU coverage is demoralizing to some people since the other two servers have to start NA prime with paper keeps and towers. At least your EU can prepare your NA for a solid start. BG and JQ have to start NA, the most action-packed time-zone, crippled every day.

Really? Starting NA prime with paper everything? Hmm before the EU guilds moved here I think that is what SoR dealt with.

No chance. Even with another T1 server in the mix to split SoR’s attention, it would still be a blowout.

I can’t help but chuckle when TC’s opponents say we’re “stacked”. They just haven’t had the opportunity to fight SoR yet.

Also, SoR is not just stacked, but extremely well coordinated. Both their guilds and militia don’t play like a collection of guilds and individuals, but as a single integrated team, and they treat all 4 maps as a single map. Their response time, cross-map coordination, map hopping is all top of the game.

TC does that to some extent too, you can’t stay in T2 without it, but SoR has it down to a science.

That said I would love to fight SoR again, hopefully with at least DB or another T1 server. Lots to learn, and TC has generally been pretty good at learning from better servers we face.

I can say the groups are very coordinated. When its oceanic we tend to run 1 group to man all 4 maps with scouts in other maps telling us the instant there is trouble so we may respond. The “rallians” or militia as you call them are vey engaged with us since I can see a lot of them in the TS listening to the various commanders we have. If TC can organize themselves even more they might have a chance in NA and Ocx/SEA time

Fun times in EBG tonight, KnT had a blast but we had to log off a little early. Good fights and lots of fun. Thanks to Choo, TW, TWL, and that massive zergball of JQ. Sorry there were so many tags in that JQ group I didnt really see who was in it. But good times, thanks to all.

And huge props to our 2 KnT commanders who did excellent with what we had, hats off to you guys.

Yeah KnT is always a fun guild to run with, to bad our Yaks are bugged out and we can’t upgrade durious and or QL. Guess that is why JQ and SoR keep hitting them. I don’t really blame them I would hit paper towers of T3 towers any day. So unforcantly we have to stand and defend all night. I would say we wiped TW all night but we would kill half the ball of Zerg and as we are working on their second part it seems they all double in size again. If Coverage and numbers is how WvW is played SoR takes the cake with that one 60+ easily. Although Choo was a train of bags tonight for ruin and Knt and the pugs that followed thanks Choo.

Blackgate REALLY wants SM today

No BG doesn’t want SM we can’t even upgrade SM becuase the yaks wont go north from Umbers and Dane. [WM] commander has tunnel vision and for some reason has a hard Kitten for SM.

I think Jang took control of the night. I could tell since when I was on Kaineng on him, whenever we lost SM he just goes straight for it every single time. Jang also hates going defensive.

For me personally I run a 0/10/0/30/30 trait build
I for air
III V XI for water
V VI XI for arcana

I use both PVT daggers with sup sigil of energy on one and battle on the other.
Gear is full PVT. Runes I use 2 Water 2 Monk and 2 Divinity
Trinkets are 4 PVT and 2 Cavaliers

I like to run all cantrips for my skills, usually Armor of the Earth, Lightning Flash and Cleansing Fire or Mist Form.

Healing skill is up to you. I like ether renewal but some people like the signet.

Just saying air 1 is your strongest auto attack. I only use fire for quick burst and get fire fields to stack 9 might with earth attunement.

Hey guys, stopped in for some reads and noticed some dragonbrand confusion. CO did join rB making a really solid WvW guild. RE/FIRE merged making another. Our server is not dying. Getting more and more motivated and coordinated everyday. Coming from Blackgate this is the most fun I have ever had. I can’t wait to get matched up with you guys again. Win or loose my guild learns something new every time and we will be here for fights not matter what.

On a side note, it would be nice if people stopped trying to recruit us from all the other solid servers. Let us grow and give you more competition. The more you stack into these top 3/4 servers the less fun it is for you. Anyone looking for a real challenge in a peaceful great community. HMU! <3 much love.

CO really fell apart after Mayoken’s vacation. From another source I learned that after he moved to TC to be with RE, many members split off and moved to various servers like BG and SoR like me. The remainder I believe are now in rB. The guild was in its prime in Kaineng but after our move to DB activity dropped,

The remnants of what were T2 and below are just dull dull dull now. TC is stuck in some weird T1.5 limbo while there’s no lower ranked server that can even come close to creating a real challenge at this point…yet we’re clearly not ready for T1 due to some significant coverage holes during SEA and Oceanic (and a bit in EU).

Argh. This new matchup system is ruining everything. We’re queuing 3-4 maps a night right now so we can wander around doing almost nothing.

Then Stop FLippin recruiting, don’t blame the new system because you would just stomp Dragonbrand and Fort aspenwood anyways, Tarnished Coast did this to themselves nobody said you had to get RE or the CD SEA guilds but you had tooo recruit more. Either leave the server or don’t complain about stomping when you were the ones who caused it.

There really wasn’t a lot of recruiting. Most of it was just guilds expressing interest and then moving over.

Give me a break, TC recruited to become a T1 server. All the guilds that transferred to TC also came to talk to JQ, but you paid them more gold than we could and they went to TC instead. To say they “just came over” is BS and you know it.

Now TC isn’t a T1 server and you over-recruited for T2, it’s your own fault.

Well, it may be BS, but I don’t know it. I haven’t heard of any active recruiting personally. Guess I shouldn’t say it “didn’t happen” though. :-P I’ll take your word for it.

Also, the other T2 servers lost a ton of players too, so it’s not entirely that we have too many. BT and VK moving off FA, now Agg, no one exactly knows the status of RE (DB) and CO, etc.

I used to be in CO and another guy in Choo also came from RE. From our knowledge RE is dying down and CO merged with rB.

I think this guy just beat TC.
Btw the BG zerg in JQBL is MASSIVE

Huge thank you to SoR and BG for some amazing fights tonight on EB. We wiped y’all a lot, and we got wiped a lot in return. Snuck SM twice. Played whack a mole with the gates for a while. Was a fun last night of the matchup! Rawr.

Highlight of our night is hiding inside Orgath while you guys ran past and we ported into you guys. Whole battle was a mess of people running around haha

This is EB. The server that shows 1 sign of weakness will be instantly targeted. Btw you 2 double teamed us today in EB too with us losing everything but our keep since we were outmanned and both sides had big zergs and we were unable to hold them off. This is how EB goes. Think the double team ended since BG hit JQ and took SM. Continuing the 2v1 would have been better in my opinion.

Chiiips! And with us facing 2 T1 servers I doubt it. Weekends are our strongest. We fall REALLY behind half way through if you’ve seen the DB/TC/FA matchups.

I am loving the DB bashing we have so far. Here’s are some reasons why DB is hated among the old T1 servers.

1) They acted like they are the new big guy and talked about replacing the old T1 JQ and SoR 2 weeks after they went from T3 to T2.

Two successful guild transfers. RISE to Blackgate. EMP/RE to Dragonbrand. Yes there is a lot of drama, just mentioning EMP transferring to Dragonband gets people riled up.

I know one thing, SoR needs to go…. NOW

If they don’t leave, they just going to get squashed like a bug like they always do. SoR is worthless in T1.

2) last month when JQ was losing badly to BG, some of the DB folks went to JQ’s LA, and talked about JQ ‘was dying’ and tried to recruit the remaining JQ guilds for DB. Trying to demoralize a T1 server as a T2 server and speed up the dying process of JQ so they can take the advantage? that should give you some idea about the class of this server’s wvw community

You had it coming DB, this should be a reality check for you guys.

The actions of a few should not represent the majority. Sure people have done things like that but you shouldn’t hold it against everyone.. We already knew from T2 that we had no chance in T2 with no 24/7 coverage and organization.

We never had the organization to even hit T1. People just got energized with transfers.

This lag is 10X worse than skill lag in T2. I miss T2 already..

Oh the wonders of skill lag when all 3 servers are fighting.
