I think only T1 will have people that are forced into there from queues (and only during some hours), so for the other tiers EotM participation will be voluntary. This could mean that people losing matches want to go in there, while people that are winning go into main WvW.

And when leagues happen and we get queues everywhere, who the hell knows what will happen.

We don’t have queues anymore. Maybe one or two occasionally but usually we only have EB queued

Farm some PvE bags for 2 weeks. Then back to the BLs.

If your memory is that short, then I really have no words… Everyone knows what happened to BG pre-leagues. Everyone had written BG off in winning league before it started. Every t1 server had equal queues 24/7 at the start of season 1 so there was no population imbalance. That’s all ancient history now. Suffice to say, SoR is the only server still whining about it.

Well this has been revealed to be completely untrue in oceanic time tonight with the numbers you’ve put out.

It is called the weekend.

Thought BG claimed they are the weakest during the weekend and only get stronger as the week goes on.

It had nothing to do with the coordinated 2v1 that was set up. I WAS on SoR, and after hearing it being discussed by commanders, I was very disgusted.

So I’m on BG now, so I’m still losing, but at least I’m losing while not playing dirty. SoR involved should be ashamed of themselves.

That is a major reason why WvW is a 1v1v1. The weakest servers can team up to take down the biggest one. Look at the SBI v YB v EB matchup during season 1.

Seasons was great since after the first two weeks we had almost no queues. At least we had different matchups. Now with SoR doomed to fight BG and JQ until one of us implodes isnt fun. Now I’m looking for a new server. Pref. T2-3.

The Thaumanova fractal was amazing. The bosses and rooms were interesting and unique. (Final Boss is the best).

I’d vote BG. World first Tequatl kill, on the way to NA Season 1 champ, a class act even/especially when steamrolling lower tier servers (like the ~8wks TC spent in T2 with BG last spring).

Even though BG is taking some chaff for now for recruiting for Season 1, they’re one of the few servers that rose steadily through the ranks to T1 with hard work and perseverence, rather than a single instant big influx of guilds from an imploding server that shot them up to T1. Only JQ has a better record in that respect, having started in T1 and never fallen out of it.

JQ would be a close second, simply by virtue of never having been out of T1 in the history of the game. It would be interesting to see how they’d handle it if they did get dropped to T2, though I don’t foresee that ever happening now that server transfers are so expensive.

You obviously don’t know about the rating system prior to seasons. Ratings were based on a variation of elo, a chest rating system. Even though the server found itself in T2, its rating was not T2. It was only a random algorithm that placed the server there. For example, from July 20, 2013 to August 10, 2013, JQ was in T2 but still won third place.

Clearly you do not know that the game was released before MOS started updating the matches. There is a 2 month gap. August 28 – October 28. There are pictures of JQ in T2 fighting CD and DB.

the 2v1 in EB was amazing. TC alone wiped 15+ times in the past 4 hours. And JQ has a fetish for Quentin Lake….

Does the JQ in EB enjoy getting wiped in the QL/Danelon area? This is like the 5th time coming back.

Woah. I leave EB for TCBL and we cap SM. How long did the WP last? Also, the map was a MESS for hours, wonder who commanded.

Not sure about EU, but in NA all ANet has to do is reduce the map cap to 40 or 50, and T1 will crumble under the weight of their server stacking, and the players will spread out.

It wouldn’t affect JQ/SoR.
There’s no longer ‘T1 stacked servers’, there’s just Blackgate.

JQ has lost a large chunk of it’s playerbase, SoR has lost well over half it’s playerbase.
Look at the score, TC is even with SoR, that’s how far SoR has fallen over the last month.

SoR is now in last place… We can only queue one map currently and we still can’t overcome TC and JQ. I don’t even see the regular commanders much.

You have an issue with the way ranking people in a competition is done.
If there is a tie at first place, the next ranked one is third, absolutely not second.
To get it simple, your place is determined by adding one to the number of people that did strictly better than you.

Ah ok, so if JQ/BG tie for first then the next spot would go to someone in 3rd and no one would get 2nd? Is that what your saying? If that is what you’re saying happens, that sucks, but would also mean that if that’s the case then SoR definitely would not want a tie between BG/JQ. So that being said then you can almost guarantee SoR would team up with BG in week 7 to secure a tie for second(as long as SoR beats JQ in week 6) with JQ. Let’s face it, if you’re getting rewards for your rank you’re going to want to rank as high as possible and do so by any means. Interesting…

Do you know much about the BG/SoR history? We pretty much hate BG. Go look at the SoR/BG/SoS thread… Also people I talked to preferred to help JQ win over BG. I only speak for myself but I don’t care about the rewards for seasons. Some may agree some may not.

Why are we talking about tier queue servers in the silver league thread?

Because watching SoR implode from the outside is rather interesting.

I’m surprised it wasn’t more BG. BG I would assume would be first as it is built largely on pve (fair weathers) and transfer.

BG is made up of past T1 implosions and a lot of people who are dedicated to staying in that tier. After facing them for the first time in months I can say that it’s actually their strength that they aren’t built around a hub of large guilds but are many smaller guilds.

Also SoR got their act together so no one is going away any time soon.

SoR is fine atm. It’s really annoying that BG can turn all our T3 to nothing AND fortify it during ZDs PvDoor time. Discourages many people from trying anymore.

BG no contest. They can easily beat SoR and JQ 1 on 1 and they are STILL buying more guilds.

Community helps. It’s the reason I left a lot servers. SoR and Mag have the best imo. I feel like I have to help people I enjoy playing with.

All lies. RARELY are there any skill lag unless all three servers are fighting with map zergs. Also the queues are not as bad as everyone thinks. If you want a recommendation, Jade Quarry would be best.

Aside from that annoying ooze room, I have to say this was a really fun dungeon but the rewards were… meh. The bosses were really well designed (Wiped to all except spur multiple times haha).
