This week has gotten pretty bad with players relaying info to other servers. I know there’s nothing you can do about it and I don’t have kitten But it’s easy to see that it’s there. This morning we had people calling out false information on where the enemy was and trying to confuse chat. Don’t get me wrong. Trying not to complain. More or less releasing my annoyance with it here. So don’t hate me. This tier isn’t as fun and clean as it used to be, and getting corrupted quickly with all the transfers.

FA honestly hasn’t surprised me. I expected them to out do CD with their new transfers and they have (up till now). It’s a great fight and there is no clear winner yet which is very exciting. I must say its hard to adjust from just rolling over everything to actually having resistance. I’ve had to dust off my tactics book a few times.

Yeah T3 and T4 are a world apart. We got into T3 by winning in a huge landslide against Darkhaven at their prime. This is our 10th week being stuck here and we are hoping to make this win our first victory, lol.
I remember that on DH, GoF was there. So was WE one of the guilds on DB now. It sucked seeing 50 something GODS outside a keep. Just glad we were able to get a little payback over the past 2 weeks. Whenever I see a GODS tag, its the first person I go after, all from that experience. Keep up the good work FA, ya’ll seem to have the guilds to back up your persistence now. But it’s just the weekend, the real challenge will lie in the weekdays. Now for CD, it seems we have more people coming out to play after last weeks win, and are spread out all over the place. Played about 3 hrs earlier today and saw soooo many new guild tags. I hate to lose, but if we do hopefully it will allow the real wvw guilds a chance to do there thing. And to DB welcome to the tier, hopefully this will also give maguuma and kaineng a taste of what its like when they make it here.
We(GoF) joined CD about a month ago coming from DH. The biggest reason behind that was the community. The free server teamspeak, where all the guilds are. Where are commanders can relay info back and forth. And lastly the response each guild has to helping the other guilds. You can consider CD as one big guild. We ran T3 over the past 2 weeks, and had superior numbers so picked up a few enemies that hated the odds. However FA had 9 guilds move over from IOJ so everything is even now. So the argument of numbers is gone and T3 is back to normal. During the previous weeks CD tried to defend itself from being called a zerg server with no skill. The best advice I can give is don’t judge any server from the people that post on the forums. These are only a select few and most are looking for trouble that are in here. CD would welcome any guild with open arms and invite everyone into the WvW community as they did with us. Send representatives to each server and talk to them online or through voip. You will get a much better representation of the server that way. Good luck in your hunting.
So FA will be competitive with us, and with DB moving up, t3 is going to be a whole new ballgame. Can’t wait! I do feel bad as IOJ has to ride the train down to t7 or t8 now, and from here its a long train ride.

Woah. Stop right there. At this point in time IOJ and FA has given up. Do not blame CD for our competitive nature. That pic just shows how the other 2 servers laid down there weapons and went and played fractals.
Edit: And this recruitment is for our advancement up. We plan to make as much headway into tier 2 as possible. We know TC used to roll us and is losing in tier 2 so when we make that move we would like to be ready. When GoF moved to CD we made that decision mostly on the community. The commanders and players all work together and are always sharing information. Knowing when things get bad, we can always give a shout and the rest of CD will be there. Love you all. Lastly, can’t wait to see WE on DB here soon. Great guild, Great commanders. Will be a blast to finally go against ya’ll but will miss being right next to ya’ll.

Just wanted to say that I am really proud of CD this week. Held out through adversity, and kept the lead from the start. While there wasn’t any “double teaming” going on, you could tell which server was being focused on. As a member of GoF we couldn’t of found a better server and glad to be here making a difference with the guilds of CD. The communication last night between the guilds is how we we’re able to accomplish such point totals. Keep It Up!
I dont do fractals and WvWvW. I just think forcing people to do JP so late is stupid. I find it especially stupid that they dont even have to do the puzzle, just visit it.
Since when do they force you to do anything? If you think it’s stupid then why do it? But for some reason with all this complaining and saying its stupid, I bet you end up doing it anyways.

No just no. Arena Net needs to take this in there hands as the developers. Banning one person that we finally get a vid of them doing the exploit from start to finish will not accomplish anything. They know where the exploits are, they know how people do it and yet do nothing on there end. And then claim its up to us to stop them…..
it’s january 1st and i’m 51% finished. it is really rather reasonable imho. the only lenthy one is the jumping puzzles but consider that with 3 alts you have 4 wvwvw puzzles, and 3 in LA. that’s 21 jump puzzles discovered in about 20 min. you need 30 total in a MONTH.
Considering you have a MONTH to do these, i dont see why everybody is whining.
Considering i already did it 3 months ago! How would you feel if you are told to “revisit” every class/subject you did in primary school 30 times? Its not a chalenge. Its not fun. Its not creative. Going to LA multiple times is another exploit that we are forced to participate in because how many of us can find 30 unique JP’s again.
You don’t have to revisit anything, read my posts above. It will take 10-15 all while in LA. Easiest achievement of the 4 to do.
Once again just go to the entrance of 1 of the 3 Jp in LA and logout and back in and into another overflow and it counts. Literally takes 10 minutes to do it.
FA, you guys are hilarious. CD is trying to breakout in IOJ BL? Let’s attack them instead of trying to take Hills while IOJ is distracted.
What’s hilarious is that you guys can’t take a non upgraded tower with several break out events and IOJ hitting us at the same time. We are having a blast, and thats all that matters.
Same with us. About 25 IOJ sieged up inside the bluebriar tower, couldnt do anything with that. But with such advanced tactics you would think the scores would be alittle different. Lets go CD, only 4k behind!
This part of the monthly took me 15 minutes and all in lions arch. You go to the entrance of one of the three jump puzzles in LA and it will count. Logoff and go to character screen and log back on. You are now in a different overflow an it will count towards it just by being in another overflow. Rinse and repeat 30 times. If one of the times it didn’t count that just means you’ve been in that overflow and just log out again. Or go to the other 2 there. Stop complaining about something that you have not spent the time to figure out first.
So this person was bugging bottling or something its not like they won them the keep but still its something worth pointing out. We still lost the keep just the same but if this is used for real i think it may be something that would be out right game braking.
Only been on CD for a few weeks, but over the time I’ve been in the forums the guild redt has been known to hack there way into anything. They are no way associated with the community of CD. It’s just there is a small guild of them that this is what they like to do. Report them as much as possible, but until arena net actually does something about, there is nothing anyone can really do.
As for ohoni, It’s probably best to go to another server after saying anything like that if we(Crystal Desert) tried half as hard for something you WANT. Might as well use the server transfer and stay where ever you end up. I know personally I don’t want to help you now, after the poor attitude that is being shown. I hear Primordial Dragons is recruiting.
It’s not a bad thing to be recruiting, but to be recruiting against the servers you are playing. All the other person was saying is it looks bad, and was trying to help ya’ll out in the PR department. As for joining guilds and recruiting there. Why? Why even take the event. Why even post the message. Once again bad image. I know it’s just one guild doing it but it does have an effect on the server even though it shouldn’t. That’s just how people look at it. Oh he’s from IoJ, and that’s what everyone immediately focus on. How about instead of defending the actions of this person. It might be best to halt the recruitment there while we are playing each other. Once again there is nothing wrong with it, it is just resulting in bad tastes in everyone’s mouth from it and giving a bad image to be doing that. /cheers
Going through these forums, the worst part about it is the lack of communication from anet. Last we heard on this topic was 2 months ago. And it’s not just this topic. Just about everything on these forums are like that.
The biggest problem that I have seen with this event is pugs don’t run back. They sit there dead yelling for a rez. It takes 30 secs to run back from the waypoint. With balth if you sit still and try and Rez someone you are dead as well. Teach everyone around you the fight and you will succeed.
Ya’lls numbers compared to ours are ridiculous! Can’t even relate. just make sure ya’ll have a night time presence, that is when DB wakes up. Otherwise keep getting transfers and ride the server train up tiers.

running against BP there are certain guilds already that we can see that skill exists. KORE, being one. However skill doesnt shine when the numbers like that exist. Hard to prove when you just mow over anything. But you can see the coordination on BP is great between the guilds, at least better then we have over at DH.

Try not to post something like that and then have your server go against it. On top of that go there are 2 other exits “LoL” and have another player post all 3 are camped. Show alittle maturity. I really hope your servers fight fairly and don’t wall jump or other exploits such as servers we have faced in the past. I have yet to hear NSP being pvdoor. I haven’t read everything on this forum but you have it all backwards. Everyone claims DB to do that when NA is sleeping. Take it back a notch and chill, NSP could use you out there in WvW then here.
Furey we understand DB fights both DH and NSP the same, I think what most people see during DH’s primetime is that it’s also when most of NSP is on as well. Makes it alittle harder and we can not clean the map like we used too. As for when DB’s numbers are on, there isn’t another servers strong point going. Not complaining since our strong point we still take the lead and clean as much as we can. As for ya’lls numbers for Na primetime, yes everyone can tell there was an influx of estimating 50 players that transfered over to DB last week. I believe the fight would be close and the week could go to anyone until this happened.
To add onto any server moving up in the tiers from this bracket, i wish you good luck cause you will need it. Like stated above there are 4 tier 3 servers and 1 will always be in tier 4. All tier 3 servers have the same coverage as us (DH) for NA primetime buts its 24hr coverage. In my opinion, and this is just my opinion, Fort Aspenwood has all the numbers but great organization with there guilds. A few that I remember GODS, and ULTD. CD has huge numbers all the time, but no where near FA’s control and discipline. I would hope all the servers here would want to stay here cause it sucked for the past 2 weeks when we were up in tier 4.
Is the DH guild GoF a pretty big wvw guild? Our 10man group with pugs kept getting stomped by a 40-50 man zerg which seemed to consist of a high density of GoF players. It was a lot of fun! We had lots of back and forth between Klovan and Quent.
Yes GoF is a huge guild. I think they had about..40 or so members in our public mumble doing WvW the other day. That’s just what I seen too, I know there was more. lol

I’m in GoF and i have no clue what your talking about. Podcast..? Plus we have very smart leaders who know how to make use of the people they got. Which is why we succeed.
There was some WvW podcast I listened to a few times and for some reason your guild name was ringing a bell with that. Just a fault memory. :P
Who knows what are guild records, with as many people as we have anything goes. But we try and go strong with numbers, but like braxton said our commanders are great and keep us from acting like a zerg and play really strategically. That night when we hit quentin 5-8 times, we were bouncing back and forth between ya’ll(nsp) and Db all night trying to hold our lead. Unbeknownst Db would take the lead that night and remain that way. I’m taking a swing here, but they must have a strong oceanic group playing pvdoor. But all in all, GoF is the place to be after the epic portal bomb tonight, with a loading screen at the other end of the portal showing just how many people went through it. /cheers.
