I don’t remember seeing an official post on it during the betas, but there’s really only two situations for you.
1. It’s intended, so you will have to learn to live with it.
2. It’s not intended, so you will have to learn to live with it for now, but they will fix it.
It’s barely an exploit. The range of the no siege placing just needs to be extended a bit. If you’re standing outside the no siege placing effect you can throw a blueprint inside of it. I’m fairly sure it’s well known enough to have a fix in the works.
Second post… that’s a record alright. Hopefully Dragonbrand won’t do anything like Darkhaven did… examples being attacking our only supply camp just for kicks when their own side is doing just as bad.
Finally, I just hope HoD doesn’t fight darkhaven again. Why on earth would you guys take OUR supply camps when green has the rest of them on every map including your own?
Those skills don’t have a cooldown short enough for maintaining stealth… you literally need all of your stealth abilities including weapon skills to maintain it. There will be gaps even culling can’t hide.
Let them fix culling first…
A full defensively built guardian can kill people too if they hang around long enough. In case you haven’t read the rest of the forum there is a culling issue in WvW that is giving thieves the illusion of a longer stealth time. That is the problem, not thieves who know how to survive an attack.
There’s a strategy you can use against a thief like that, and it works well against a heavy defense built guardian too, it’s called don’t waste your time on him.
If you and your friend are level 2 and he is level 80, it matters.
This is how it’s always been, since the betas. There’s been complaints about it before and yet it is still here, so in my personal opinion it’s very safe to say it’s either intended or at least won’t be changed in the near future.
HoD is currently trying to retake the position on the leaderboards that belongs to us, and we’re doing it in a blaze of glory! Dead last will be ours again!
So long as being able to invite an enemy player into a party is allowed I’ll manage without the report thing. That way it requires the consent of both parties for cross server WvW contact.
This reminds me of the smiteball in GW1. Good times that. The reason it died out is people learned to counter it with the tools they already had.
1v1ing and 2v2ing a couple nice FA guys while my team takes back most of our borderlands makes for one nice night for this HoD player.
An interesting idea, to be sure, but it would have to be after the rendering issues are fixed.
If you see a thief with the dwayna gauntlets in the jumping puzzle make sure to bow or wave or something, it’s more fun with cross team teams. HoD!
I haven’t seen many fights go the right way for HoD, but I have had some fun running around with my thief, dancing with groups of enemies and sneaking into places I really should not be!
Well, the Sylvari are literally based off of humans according to lore. Ronan planted the seed the Pale Tree grew from on the graves of his murdered family.
There is only a limited number of animal spirits according to lore, and based on the land the Norn are native to I’m not at all surprised there are no aquatic based spirits.
It likely depends on what you are fighting, if you’re in a large boss fight take root is awesome, but say you’re trying the asuran path in the ascalonian catacombs… the turrets would be lucky to get off two shots a piece. It’s easy enough to kill them that I do not think it’s that overpowered, just used well in some situations.
I enjoy the downed state in PvE, it gives your allies a chance to save you depending on how the fight is going. What I do not like is having both the downed state and that chance for saving your ally with the downed killing finishing move. I’d prefer to do away with the finishing move but in the end of the day things would go a lot better if either one of them was gone.
Well as a gay male I welcome the inclusion of this races diversity, I agree for some folks it may be a bit awkard or a shock but as a gay male I have the straight thing forced (if that is what the OP wants to call it) on me all the time and in my face., And yet I seem to still enjoy games, life etc.
To me at least that is not the way the OP is meaning it. I do think it feels awkward/forced in the way it was written, as in it could have been written a bit better to sound more natural. I think it’s just the romanticized style sylvari tend to speak in that is throwing me off. Not speaking for the OP just saying my own view of it.
Anet sure loves the cheesy stuff, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Sure explains all the skritt…
After I played my human thief to 80 I finally started on my human mesmer. It never fails to throw me for a loop every time my mesmer says something because I attribute that voice to my thief, but it’s not my thief. A mute option would be amazing to see even if it takes a year to get in game.
To me it does feel that the way Anet is adding homosexual relationships is a little awkward. It might just be the way the sylvari are written that is throwing me off though, they are a rather odd race to begin with.
