US daily gun killings/problems are not considered a major disaster that has contries in tears and is not reported on the news world wide.

It is incensitive to make people have sad thoughts about real life disasters, when they are playing a game, where alot of people spend time to not think of the real world.

30 secs after it hit, i had thought , haha / this is stupid / it looks like jesus and up to easter / OMG what did they think 1 week after planecrash and how do i disable this.
Then i went to forum to find out, and i think alot of the sad / angry people you have here, had the exact same experience or close.ยจ
Good/sad for you, that you have no empathy or dont see connections like this, but a lot of players do and they buy stuff that pay anets saleries too.

People that normally dont use the forum at all, for all the hate and trolls that are there, feel the need to go and say a word and voice their concern, about this absolutely inconciderate action.
That some people are trying to stop them from voicing this concern or laughing at them for feeling sad, just makes you doubt for the future of humanity.

Every day 150 thousand to 200 thousand people die. Everyone of them is a tragedy to someone. You’re saying we should pay more attention to the ones that died in that plane crash and ignore the rest of the 150 thousand that died that day? Why are they more important?
I dont see the relation to my post, but ofc they are not unimportant, a huge tragedy happens in anythning else and they release a joke that connects to it the week after, i will also be here saying that i find it distastefull.
I will also find it very strange that some people are trying to tell other people to not feel empathy and that they should just “laugh” at what makes them feel sad.

you can doubt but they have many thousand active accounts every day, half of those are not paying / playing, that is a lot of money even if you dont think so.
its a kittening kitten event, that kittenes off a lot of people, its unbelieveable they havent released a fix yet and we are 10 hours in.
How kittening stupid is this company, they are loosing so much money from people not being logged in and buying their kitten. Trust me they can see it at their months result when 50% players are not buying kitten for a day. (and a lot will prolly not spend money for awhile)

No, I don’t see the obvious connection. For one this April Fools prank has probably been in development well before the Germanwings tragedy. I seriously doubt Anet would plan such a thing to make light of such an unfortunate event. It makes no sense. They are smarter than that. If you choose to make the connection between characters pretending to fly and a current event, well that’s on you.
Also I don’t see an obvious connection with Jesus. Running around with arms out is in no way symbolic of Jesus on the cross. When I was a kid I used to run around like that. You know pretending to fly.
As I have said many times in this thread, some people don’t like the visuals this prank presents. So, instead of just letting it go they are using terms like, “offended”, ’"insulted", “gives me headaches” to try to make their point.

I think this is very bad taste and they should have not gone through with it, even if planned.
Absolutely distateful up to easter and with all the airplane disasters we have had.
Absolute stupid not to have a disable option.
Mind bogling that some posters here cant comprehend that some people have limited gaming time and making our characters run around with aviators hats on and arms out, making stupid sounds, is unplayable for some of theese people.
