I kinda want to see more different finishers and combo fields in the game, this is my attempt to create a new finisher for an excisting “term” aswell as a new combo field.
Launch Finisher (like Banish, Overcharged Shot, Updraft etc)
If finished in:
Dark causes: You will leech some health from your enemy (same amount as Sup. Sigil of Leeching)
Ethereal causes: 5 stacks confusion for enemy (5 secs), Chaos Armor for yourself (5 secs)
Fire causes: burning for enemy (5 secs), Fire Shield for yourself (5 secs)
Ice causes: chilling for the enemy (3 secs), Frost Aura for yourself (5 secs)
Light causes: 5 Stacks vuln. for enemy (10 secs), aegis for yourself (10 secs)
Lightning causes: daze for the enemy (3 secs), Shocking Aura for yourself (5 secs)
Poison causes: weakness for the enemy (5 secs), the next enemy that hits you gets poisoned (10 secs)
Smoke causes: blindness for enemy (5 secs), stealth for yourself (5 secs)
Water causes: regeneration (10 secs) for yourself and you lose 1 condition
New Earth Combo Field:
Launch Finisher: crippling for the enemy (5 secs), Magnetic Aura for yourself (5 secs)
Blast Finisher: AoE Mangetic Aura (3 secs)
Projectile Finisher: Projectiles cause bleeding (5 secs)
Leap Finisher: weakness for enemy (5 secs)
Whirl Finisher: Bleeding bolts (2 stacks/bolt, 5 secs bleeding)
The numbers might not be balanced, but you get an idea

I also think Unscathed Contender needs changing as well, but not what you propose. It’d be overpowered then.
I edited it to be able to stack up to 3 times, maybe “better” now

Virtue of Defiance:
Passive: If you get hit by a melee attack your attacker and nearby foes get weakness for 5 seconds (30 seconds cooldown)
Active: You and your allies inflict Chilling on the next attack (2 seconds) (Virtue recharge 50 seconds)
Inspired Virtue’s minor trait adds Vigor for 5 seconds.
Added new traits for this Virtue:
Defiant: Virtue of Defiance’s Passive effect also adds 5 seconds of retaliation to you and nearby allies when triggered, adept trait.
Offence is the best defence: Virtue of Defiance’s active effect also adds a 1/2 second Daze for your foes. Add fury (5 seconds) to you and nearby allies when you activate Virtue of Defiance, master trait.

Had a similar thought except call it Sigil of the Juggernaut and you get the +10 Toughness per kill. The longer you kill things the stronger you get. Makes sense.
Sure you can make it on kill aswell, like bloodlust etc. I just want defensive stack sigils

This would pretty much make 30 in Virtues a requirement for everyone.
its not a must i’d say, AH is still strong, pure of voice is still strong – you have alot of options. it’s not like arcana trait tree from the ele where you HAVE to put ATLEAST 20 points into.

Go on WvW, keep falling down the tower, let your team resurrect you. Repeat 25 times.
Or simply go to any PvE area where you have a lot of dead npcs (like Orr) and stack all stats. These sigils simply seem to be extremely overpowered.
only the healing power would stack up to 500, because healing power doenst scale that well.
With the others you would have to choose: bloodlust OR accuracy OR the new ones, you can’t have them all.
Besides that falling of a cliff and get rezzed 25 imes takes longer than killing 25 trash mobs :>

guardians dont need more mobility itself, they need more controll – that’s it

put 30 in valor and go for Strenght in Number, Honourable Shield and either Mace of Justice or Altruistic Healing.

Hi,
Power of the Virtuous: from 1% up to 2% again.
Indomitable Courage merged with Shielded Mind (Still called Shielded Mind, grandmaster trait)
Retaliatory Subconscious merged with Vengeful (Still called Retaliatory Subconscious, adept trait)
Permeating Wrath merged with Supreme Justice (Still called Supreme Justice, master trait)
Elite Focus: Elite Skillst last longer and recharge 20% faster, master trait.
Unscathed Contender: Deal 20% more damage while under the effects of aegis. Aegis now stacks up to 3 times (which means up to 3 blocks, if you can provide 3x aegis ofc), master trait.
New Grandmaster Trait: Master of Virtues: All your Virtues recharge 20% faster.
I aim to create diversity for the Guardian Virtue line and I hope it gets used more often. The Virtues of the Guardian are his trademark, but atm they are really underused and not really that gamechanging.

What are your ideas for a 4th virtue for the guardian? Currently we have 1 offensive support and 2 defensive support virtue, with the 4th one I wanted to go for a more controll support oriented virtue.

Hi,
My idea: weapon sigils on resurrecting!
25 stacks possible same as bloodlust etc. (so they DONT stack on eachother! only the healing power one, because i feel healing power doesnt scale well – it doesnt have to stack when or if they make it into the game, it’s just my opinion)
Superior Sigil of Resistance: Gain +10 Toughness after resurrecting a player/npc.
Superior Sigil of Defiance: Gain +10 Vitality after resurrecting a player/npc.
Superior Sigil of Devotion : Gain +10 Healing Power after resurrecting a player/npc. (yes it does stack with Superior Sigil of Life for a total of +500 healing power if you can get both 25 stacks)
Thoughts?

i hope a dev could read it and give some feedback about the pvp situation atm.
summary:
GW2 needs:
1. a ladder system like GW1
2. GvG/HA mode or maybe something new
3. better glory reward system, after a (5vs5 tournament) match all actions get counted together and divided by 5, everyone receives the same amount!
4. settled AT times, like GW1 and mAT’s + y(early)AT’s
5. push e-Sports like u promised us before and during the beta.
