Ahh… I was kind of hoping that this thread wouldn’t come down to this. But all there is to say I feel sorry for you and to what happened. It’s sad when people can’t respect their enemies. I mean it’s normal if you get ganked while roaming but laughing and corpsejumping/dancing is on another level of disrespect.

The thing even more sadder than corpse jumping/dancing is when your allies start badmouthing their commanders.

But when the fights came we were only 24 guys in BL…we had mostly no queue on the BL cuz no commander tag was on the map so randoms sticked to other maps.

You did realize that all your guildgroups fought us all together whole evening?
Mabye us 24 were the reason for lagg…but can also be your zone and the fact that dF hat fights with Deso zone at the same time.

On reset we had to face GoD(guild fielding 40 or even 50?) and EXG and were 16 ourselfes cuz of queue and DCs….you had many different guild groups yesterday with same size as ours and still i cant recall all the names cuz they were mostly all together(except aZm…we had couple fights agaisnt them alone) and see us complain bout numbers?
For the ppt…we held every keep and tower of the map for short time!!. We held 3 keeps even longer we always had points as much as our third on the map..mostly more and that without Queue on the BL with mostly jsut us and dF so 50 guys on the map from miller only.

Is it so hard for some to say " Ty for the fights you guys did well on the bl! "?

I have no clue what was going on yesterday at the Deso bl but I can tell you that most of the guys in there were AP hunters and there was no organisation going on at all. This weeks prime time has been quite kittenty tbh because of the god kitten ques. I think they were around 1 hour or then I’ve been in kittenty luck while being in queue. (too random system) And there was no one in the jp either according to my guildies.

But I applaud you for your accomplishment to hold most of our home bl with your 24 guys and the 25? dF guys.

There’s no excuse because it’s true. All our ques at the moment are being cause by fair weather players and pve scrubs. There was no tanking. We dropped because we had no chance. Even against servers like SFR and riverside we only lost points even tho that should be impossible against servers that high. You could say it’s like fighting against Underworld. No matter what they do theyll lose points when fighting against higher ranked servers because they just cant maintain ppt high enough.

Everyone knows its the smarter move from Deso but theres nothing we can do really? Or should we just stop playing and let deso 695 rest of the reset? The fact that you think that Gandara is blind to this is just silly.

You could at least refrain from pointing in our direction or thanking them for their help. Beside of that there is not much what you can do. That doesn’t change the fact that it was double teaming, but that is part of the game, as i said before. Not really something to brag or rage about, unless you are a drama queen.

Most people of Gandara (me included) dosent agree with double teaming, it takes away our hard work this week when we could had a last day with around 4k? points fighting it out on our own instead.

Double teaming means that two teams goes together but Gandara didnt ask for this and shouldnt be thankfull either.

It would be smart to focus AM because Desolation and Gandara will lose alot of pve players before the last week and AM will still be strong in numbers.

Let me make myself clear. By “double teaming” i ment that we want to “help” Gandara because we like the way they play even tho they can be jerks if they want to. Compared to abbadon’s lets blob everything! And we see better chances in winning season one if we help a little bit Gandara even tho they don’t want to.

But I have to say I like the Desolation Mouth’s new three waypoints. They look so shiny. And why do the lootbags always keep waypointing away It ain’t fair

Great fights at Gandara Garri. All went smoothly until Abbadon decided to come and try to leech our cap but luckily we managed to wipe their “guild” group or event group whatever you want to call it.

i like when you guys say “pve” players. wvw is a sort of pve in this game.

There’s huge difference between pve and wvw players imo. In pve it doesnt matter what you do. You get it done anyways by doing random things. In wvw you have to know what you are doing and why. Even tho sometimes it comes to pressing autoattack as fast as you can to win.

You might not encourage it, but it still happends. Desolation is by far the less honorable server I ever fought. On our BL I get often into 1 vs 1 fights with players from your server, and when they start to lose they flee like rabbits or come back with more buddys to save their … kitten.
And in Obs Sanctum all players get along, I even was in a party with one guy from Abbadon just to get pass those gankers from your server.
You like it or not, this is the server you represent.
Abbadon is far more honorable in fights and behavior this week, hail to you Abbadon !

I personally do not count them in when talking about desolation. I could say they are the kittened sibling you have but cant get rid of. Mostly fair weather players you could say or PvEers

I hate that kind of action as much as you do but there’s nothing we can really do about it.

When it comes to 1v1 the only thing there’s to say is that WvW is not a place for 1v1 even tho I sometimes end up doing so.

The JP’s in WvW are total bullkitten. Shouldn’t even be part of WvW in any way.

nope, as houndreds of servers in thousands of match ups already told you millions and millions times, i will tell u once again:

the (map wide) skill lag is caused due to “blobbing” which means that more players are fighting at the same battle than the servers can actually handle without problems. and that’s the only reason.

in all match ups we have situations where there is a queue on each bl which means that all wvw spots are used. but the skill lags we only have with you. (not even with vizunah!)

stop complaining about peolple telling you what you are causing by you stragedy, change your stragedy.

Most of deso’s PvE players are in the jp (at least in the borderlands). So the group you see on each bl running around isn’t the full size blob. It’s only part of it cause of the guys in jp.

But still I have respect for Gandara and it’s always fun fighting you guys. Still this forum warrior kitten is getting out of control. So please refrain yourself from posting flaming and other bullkitten. Nobody likes it and nobody wants to read it even tho i have to admit that it’s quite entertaining to read forums.

Indeed good measurement for deso to test our skills. Why you hating on us already? It’s not like we have blobbed you in this matchup and we propably won’t ‘cause of the lack of coverage. Or who knows maybe the PvE guys will activate in this matchup. I don’t want PvD or DvG so lets put up some fair fights shall we? As fair as it can get at least.

All that mumbojumbo about “all” deso guilds wanting to drop to silver… not true. There are plenty of people who see this as the challenging situation it is, and who do NOT jump ship. So our zergs will be smaller and our coverage will be less and we’ll have to adjust our strategies, but that doesn’t mean the sky drops on our heads… Deso is gold material, and the guilds who deliberately stay to fight the odds are the ones who really deserve respect.

I’m just being realistic, I love fights and challenge but when it comes to coverage. Have you even seen how our borderland or eb look in the mornin till 4pm. We are lucky to have 20 guys in one place. After first big encounter we suddenly lose 10 to the mists or tequila.

I don’t exactly like dropping to silver but it sure as hell is way better than getting wiped in the mornin by 60guy zone blob in all borderlands. I’m not jumping off just cause things look bad, it’s just kittenin depressing to see others do so. But lets just reform Desolation before doing anything stupid.

Indeed. Desolation will rise again. It may not be in the near future but it will happen eventually. As long as we have people who believe we can build good community we have chances doing so. The drop in ranks is needed indeed. Some people lose morale right at the moment they see bigger blob. But it’s nothing to be afraid of, it simply means more lootbags.

So do not lose faith on Desolation for we will rise again.

Depends what counts as a idiotic mistake. Is it a mistake to push against bigger group? I think it isnt. But still people suddenly leave after first wipe. Wipes are part of WvW. So i dont really see why people get so discouraged after first big fight/wipe. If you die, you rise again, rise until lambs become lions. It wont do any good if people just leave.

Stupid mistake on the other hand, at least for me, is placing siege to the wrong places. Pushing enemy is never a mistake. It might be stupid but not a mistake.

I love how people always can find some blatant excuses. Like “oh no, it’s not our fault, its high transfer cost QQ.” Transfer to sfr is not free too and if somebody’s really interested in transferring in good www then he’ll find 1000 or 1800 crystals. And if you you need a break from strong opponents then qq and transfer to some medium populated server. We did fine in past few months, some of our commanders did very good job. I personally enjoyed(everything but lags lags) fighting viz/piken.

So you are saying that it’s our fault that we have high transfer cost? Don’t you think it’s bit silly how we have over 170 people in one channel in teamspeak. Some of them being from other servers. People actually come to guest on Desolation because we are known for our strong PvE players. Things going to the point they are joining our teamspeak to do PvE. You seem to find it rather easy to command people you don’t know and recruit more people to server that has very high population already. I can tell you that it’s not only the commanders fault when server is losing fights and points. If they players “following” commander aren’t doing what the commander asks and keep just roaming around without any clue. Is it still commanders fault? You talk like you have played lot of WvW but sounds like bullkitten to me. Please recruit all those hardcore WvW players to deso if it’s so easy. If you haven’n noticed, we’ve lost more people to other servers than have transfered to our server.

Thanks for the [VII] Vii for the fun fights on SFR bl even tho it was laggy as hell. Had some rallybots with us so could have been better fights.

Thanks DVG for all the fun. I’m disapointed and sad for the decision of you leaving Desolation. Hopefully we’ll meet in the battlegrounds in the future. No hard feelings

Thanks RS for the fun fight in Garri, it almost looked like we could take it but then you had the chance to wp in and we got unorganized :P tho it was good fights im still bit disapointed we couldnt take it.

I know this might be unpleasant matchup for some people at least if the last thread Deso/Gandara/Abbadon’s Mouth is accurate. But cmon guys and girls let’s keep the fights clean. Nobody likes to be corpse jumped or laughed at after losing a battle. It’s childish even tho there are some people from all the servers doing this.

If you encounter a Deso player jumping on you just ignore it or contact that persons guild.

Personally I’d like to keep the fights nice and clean even tho there’s is so much blobbing and some people don’t like it. So, good luck guys and have fun
