I really wanna play something else, in tpvp, always shatter. Now if a guard at mid gives ret for everyone, and the normal combo for shatter is, f1 + BF, with ret up on everyone, and you give everyone your shatter and bf aoe, can reallyyy hurt!

Yeh, im not focusing to get many stacks on them, it dont last long, and most players will see it and cure it. But im focusing on bleed, with iduelist popping every 12 sec one.. times 3 with a bleed that ticks 123.. last 8 sec.. cure it.. it comes back fast! And focusing on giving them confusion non stop.. not a big stack once but keep putting them on them :p..torment.. hits for 92.. if you move it tick 2 times a sec.. torch burn 710..
It hard to cure it all imo.. tried it in tournament with another cond class.. its fun.. just a premade.. I really want to know how it works with a bleed spamming necro.. kill mine illuaions get confusion.. using rabid and carrion ruby.. to survive burst.. heals cure condition.. mantra resolve cures.. Can get more cond dmg.. but also wanna survive.. and 123 bleed without might etc is decent..
Haha I only can hope to see some cond mesmers in tourment.. played too long shatter hehe
@ Nretep, just add torment to every mesmer skill:P Would be cool tho! Shattering also gives torment something like that.
You dont need close range for scepter n2 (torment) it makes it easyer, but like an ele (air)scepter n1, you can use scepter n2 for it, and give him torment, thief shortbow n1 block it and give torment etc..

We got a bit nerfed, 20% cd trait, 20% more cd for sword 2 etc.. But we are still King of the hill with diversity! Phantasm are doing fine, you must use it proper now boohoo.. Shatter still can burst someone down!
We even got a new build! Condition dmg, you can even bunker it together with a guard at mid, got a lot of stealth so they wont focus you! But your cond dmg on them really hurt! You can def close, dont use stealths, use portal/illusion of life, improvise!
I also saw someone using a really fun and good interupt build!
I got an example of mine new condition build! Try to picture it in tpvp! I like to see new combinations!

I really like scepter now with mine cond build. I agree with the auto attack.. I dont even use it much unless I need some clones up!
But torment can be stacked easy.. I just look at the opp. Animation, and know.. now I must use it.. like if hes using a charge or starting an attack, that cant be canceled fast hehe.. or using aoe etc..

5 stacks.. every 12 sec.. I think we got the best tormentt atm.. compared with the necro aoe 2/3 stack torment (40 sec cd) and thief venom torment (around 40 sec cd)…necro torment is good for group fighta tho

Shatter is still, good! Phantasm also, but now we can also play a good cond build!
Ofc there are some nerfs, you just need to adjust your skills, playstyle etc..
My pvp opinion.. no idea bout PvE!

I picked 2x lyssa instead of nightmare, it wont give an extra sec of bleed but getting a bit more time for other cond with lyssa ^^
I might change Sigil of earth for sigil of corruption.

You could drop 5 from crit tree and pick up Illusionary persona, play it more as a shatter spec especially since scepter is double proccing clones.
I was using hoelbrak runes with battle sigils. My favorite part of the spec is that it doesnt use staff to be honest. I’m not a fan of GS or focus outside of pve personally.
Yeh, I wanted to try that. But what crossed my mind, 25 in dueling gives confusion on killinh illusions, but 30 in illusions gives a bit more cond dmg and a majot trait ehich I havent look in yet! I will def try it but this build plays smooth in spvp that I didnt want to change it yet.. hehe.. ty!!
Edit: I did it also with battle sigil.. but i just wanted a bit morw survive with the enegery sigil for more dodging.. and enegery and battle sigils wont stack together.. ((

I will update it soon, printscr traits. As for tpvp, it can be interesting, done it a few times with this build now, together with a necro is a pain, its not just the confusion, its also the bleed that ticks for 123 normal, and the torment. Changed some runes so i got 1 sec longer for bleeds. Changed amulet with Rabid and carrion ruby, cond is the same but I survive a power burst much better! Cond I got power cleanse and the trait that cures when healing. You can bunk together and do some good dmg at mid with a guard for example. You got alot of stealth health regen and thoughness, and can kill another bunker pretty fast with condition, you can bunker close, but lose all of the stealth! Get portal iluusion of life etc.. This is just imo, trting to be innovative! Its doesnt mean its the best way or it can works.. but in mine mind it does.. pls try it out!!!
As for PvE, I really dont play PvE, but change sword/torxh for staff ofc.. I like sword/torch for pvp in def closw you can change it also for stafg or sword focus but you wont get benefits with cond from sword/focus! Im still trying out new things.. played shatter starting with bwe2.. bwe1 I played the build they gave you at the start :p.. torch n4 fives burn and blind abd stealth can be good in mod fights and you wont get focussed that much!

Im using 2 x Lyssa and 2 x condition/15% bleed duration and idem ditto!! Will update it asap.. on mine mobile now I think most of you know what I mean.

Yeh I know, most ppl hate you for using d/d. HS spammer:P But its soo refreshing, after a hard day of work haha. Main is a mesmer, got alot of videos of it, ele also. But thief just makes me smile.
Thief imo, isnt a 1vs1 it just hide in the shadows wait for an oppertunity, and strike, and hide again or cluster bomb from a secret place :P
I like hotjoin more than Tpvp, I just can be a hitman, and dont need to worry bout others, I really want ranked arena!

Whats wrong with the current builds? The might stacking? Before mine mesmer already did around 10k with shatters.. (With crits and luck ofc)Now still.. I would say the backstabbers need a fix ^^ Mesmers are ok!

Tried the guardian yesterday! Mine main is a Shatter Burst Mesmer, soo I thought its time to do something else. And I made a healing guardian!
Mine main job is keep Mini alive, mine teammate. Soo there I was ready to go and have some fun, the map we entered had some players from a guild, named paradigm, interesting way to train ^^

They should make a macro for it, I always swap mine focus for speed buff (mesmer). Sometimes I forget to swap it back lol or misclick
