So… Where did you get this idea that Glass Cannons own Bunkers?

With all the CC’s, Aegis, Retal and the other boons that bunkers use, how is a Glass Cannon so effective? I was under the impression it was most effective to strip boons and use conditions on bunkers.

Which Glass Cannons can strip all boons and kill a bunker?

I getting the hang of Gsword, its fun! You must pay more attention now, cause you dont have the defense from staff. Still prefer staff, but gsword is also kitten fun!!

Too be honest, if you get killed (all the time) while being moad, (1vs1), you shouldnt pvp.

Staff got it all, it got dmg, it got support, it got heals, blocks, leap, blindness, poison cripple, Might, fury, conditions etc etc ^^ Look guardians melt.

The way I feel it,

gsword = dmg, great for multi foes
Staff = dmg, support great for 1 vs 1

Tested it, some 1 vs 1 I kill them a little bit faster with staff. But Gsword knockback is sweet, beserker good for aoe on a busy point.

Im like them both. Its hard to decicde ^^

I Love the gear!!!

In tournaments, for example I got to our treb, ele is coming using his aoe, (rain of fire, etc) cant get him down. When he is 10% he just mist and heal himself up, circle keep going this way -_-

Im using shatter build, staff and sword/pistol

Tried to get him 50% with staff, condition etc, then switch fast for the burst but he just mist and heal himself at low hp. -_- Or heal himself at 50% hp, tried diversion, but he still can cast mist.

CD for warlock should be 16 but its still 14?! Im not traited in chaotic damping.

Sylvari, gear looks cool on them. I dont need racial skills, they wont work in sPvP. For me its only the looks.

F1 is for me the highest dmg in sPvP.. 10k .. f1-f4 are the best skills a mesmer have ^^

Never said decoy avoid dmg, it confuse the player, player cant put conditions, its not decoy and stand at the foe, that he still can hit you ^^

Every build is old isnt it -_- After the burst im idd squishys, luckly for me I got decoy, stun removers, stuns, blink, confuse, distortion Diviersion.

In team fights it shines btw, specialy, blurried frenzy which aoe, together with shatter.

Runned against, many mesmers in yesterdays tournament ^^. Phantasm Defender is one of the hardest build to defeat kittenter in a big environment, or else you just shatter all phantasm ^^ (thing is, 90% of all teams got a mesmer) Always defending points btw, or they are on the treb. I always go for base, or attack treb. I cant defend (wont^^), I like the action! I see 2/3 ppl, ofc I know 90% chance I can die! But I survive for some time. And bought some time for our team, so I always cross mesmers:P Treb down, I see a portal, waiting few secs ohh portal gives shiny light lets put a chaos armor)

Runned up against Bunker Guardians, sometimes it takes some time, sometimes when daze is timed its over fast.

Toughness, gives lesser dmg for burried frenzy maybe 3,5k instead still high, with shatters, and iduelist on it, but if its really though switch to staff to get him to 50% (condition) and than burst. (runned up against many players btw, thoughness, defenders, glasscanons name it, im only doing sPvP) ^^

Ive played ranger, thief, ele, necro, switching between proffs ^^ Mesmer main, MOA isnt broken m8. It is called an elite ^^ It has a long cd.. Like said before get moad dodge in 1 vs 1.. Mesmer get annoyed he cant cc you ^^

Getting moad 2/3 times here.. survived and killed the mesmer.. If you cant deal with the moa.. Try tricks or practise but dont call it OP.. cause you cant handle it.. No offense

Its fine^^ I use it for example, we are fighting, I see the support, hard to get down and he heal alot, MOA, (ts) Guys Kill the moa. Changed the tie ^^

But he could dodge, he could shout im moad protect me, thief do a stealth ect etc..
Everything can be countered, ive been in moa so many times.. came out of it and killed foe..

If you think your moad and your screwed.. Well dont ^^ Have a little faith!

Not sure bout you, but when your moad dont stand like a chicken without a head:P

Dodge run away.. look for your foe moves… Does he charge, does he try to stun etc.. dodge it.. Dont get caught in the burst. And after the 10sec make them feel sorry :P

Dont try to use the moa skills.. I looked at it.. it gives 198 attacks.. just run and dodge ^^

On mine mesmer, mine playstyle is, be faster and think faster than foe (trying). Standing still and you could get caught up in a burst.

Runes: Divinty
Sigils: Battle + 5% dmg
On staff: Bloodlust, try to swap to staff when your stomping someone to get the stack

Tested it, peck schrees etc for 198 dmg.. I chose run and dodge nothing more nothing less:P

The light armor targets are going to take more damage — especially if they are not traited for toughness at all. The big dmg was against another mesmer — so it may be against the squishiest possible target you could find.

Side note: As a memser you should have used some skills after you were moa’d. At least you ran around a bit rather than standing still.

Yeh, it isnt that much of a diff.. with light/medium/heavy. But true on the thoughness, it doesnt matter, light/medium/heavy timed right with the good crits they can all go down with blurried and Shatter (without toughness). Its just vs glasscanon ^^ Wont see that on a mesmer with full toughness.

Yeh, I still dont know what skill the moa gives, tried to google it. But couldnt find it, and when ingame, I just wanna pvp:P

Did 7k blurried frenzy and 10k shatter as one shot (17k) yesterday! Thats called BURST :P

I take moa before TW in tournaments, why? I like playing solo, taking bases alone, fighting vs 2 or more. It can be a win xD Or give you the time for backup.

Can be a pain if your in steatlh and the last 0,1 sec of the cast time, the enemy just dodge. :P

scholar rune increases your damage when you’re above %90 hp, how often were you above %90 in those duels? good for hitting target dummys and thats about it.

Yes your right, gear is only for the defense, the runes you put on it (scholar) is for the damage, I thought most ppl would understand that, sorry for not being clear about that.

And yes, its not 2200 (( that was an estimated number, so I made a video vs the guardian to show some exact numbers:

Heavy Dummy:
With gear (Scholar) Blurried frenzy: 4488
Without gear (scholar) Blurried frenzy: 2664

Guardian:
Blurried Frenzy: Time: 1:31 : 2194 (without gear)
Blurried Frenzy: Time: 2:46 : 3636 (with gear)

Well without gear its hard to be at or above 90%, if you watched the video, you saw it, but then again, why do I need to be above 90% when I dont got the gear, nor the extra dmg.
