I guess you never played competitive FPS game. In this game, thief can unload on someone and kill him much faster then in Quake 1, Quake 2, Quake 3 and Quake Live. I played those games on semi-pro competition (i won few tourneys with real money rewards) and i can tell you this:

Here thief can unload and kill you (when you are full hp) in 2-3 hits (less then 10 sec i guess) but lets be generous and lets say that you need 1 minute, .

On the other hand i need to hit twice with railgun + few bullets from machinegun, keep in mind that railgun reload time is 1500ms and execution is 200ms at same time your enemy can run around walls and regain HP/Armor much faster, also keep in mind that players with best railgun accuracy can hit ~75%. So if you execute it perfect i guess you need atleast 2 minutes to catch and kill other player in fastest and most balanced FPS ever (Quake any part).

*this is only kill speed count. Keep in mind that in quake enemy have same odds as you and that he can hit you at same time with same weapon and give you same dmg (only player skill decides winner).

That in general means the PAID tournament need to be “sponzored” by Free tournaments income. Othervise it will simply destroy itself. Now considering the time you have to spend in Free in order to get 5 tickets. We talking 3 hours minimum. So one evening of playing.

Ok, your team need tickets so what? Why cant you fight against other team (which also need tickets)?

Why does everyone want an unequal battle?? Full premade team with voice communication against PUG???

If you cant win against other team, you need to practice more.

What we need for tPvP now is to filter teams and pugs better (Since many noob teams enjoy PUG farming.)

I am not saying that teams should not play free tpvp, my point is:
This is team based game and, you should enjoy the challenge and competition of matches between two premade groups.

PUG’s should have their own competition fun fighting other PUG (and not to be cannon fodder for teams unable to earn tickets in fair battle).

Hmm, its just wrong matchmaking mechanic.

tPvP need better matchmaking filter (teams matched by party size and pvp rank).

For vengeance, a winner can be a loser just within few secs after he get revived back by his own “lol” vengeance skill.
For a scenario, “A” profession vs a warrior, “A” pops up all his cd and yes killed a warrior. He is going to finish him, but fail at the first time due to a warrior disabling skill. Second attempt, the warrior comes back with vengeance, pops up all his skill on “A” profession while his skills still on CD. Ends up, “A” be the one who die.
Isnt it a joke, while you ardy killed someone, but he can still kill you back? A lol after all

I dont think that you can kill anyone, since you cant do a simple action.

To stomp warrior you only need to press “F” (twice if he managed to interrupt your first attempt). If you cant press 1 key twice in 20 sec you got serious problem (and i don’t think you can find solution on this forum)

Warrior can use Vengeance only if enemies are Blind IRL or AFK (or they got some kind of connection problem).

There is a simple solution for you to manage this “problem”:

1. For start you should go to youtube and spend some time to watch gw2 movies, after that you should start reading some educational gw2 material on wiki in order to learn some basic things. When you start to feel familiar with all the terms there you can procede to step 2.

2. Log in to game and go to mist, do not skip events you see around, try to learn as much as you can (yes you can practice in mist with dummies or with pvp bots).

Repeat step 1 to 2 until u manage to learn how to stomp downed player.

Only ppl with mobile authenticator got this bug. Just remove authenticator and enjoy.

I would like to see some kind of 2v2 and 3v3.
