Back to the topic if Anet was able to keep the influence of your guild on another sever that might make your choice a little simpler

Unfortunately, EU T9 isn’t really a rating blackhole as much as a (lack of) population black hole.

the inbalance is big enough that whoever is green usually still manage to gain points & eventually catch up with a tier 8 server, unlike how NA T8 was/is.

Despite how it looks, it seems to me that the rating is actually accurate.

Part of the problem is indeed what happened to NA T8, that mess have probably put off a lot of EU from transferring to Vabbi/FoW as doing so in large numbers will almost certainly create another black hole in the ratings… and thus no-one transfers for the sake of a healthy ranking system. >_<;

Those of you who are still persevering in Vabbi & FoW, you’ve really earned my respect!.

As much as you tell the truth, you have to agree that it would be better for us to merge the servers together or close them down. Because there is some of the vabbi population that just doesn’t want to play WvW where the rest does. We had a guild called [FRS] join vabbi, they brought 10-15 players and took over 80 Vabbians with them to another server. This doesn’t help either. All these guilds come to rob what little is left. So rather than see it drag out anymore, I’d like to think the dev’s would close shop end tier 9 and let us be on our mary way

Hey everyone, this is mainly an attempt and getting an answer from the dev’s.
I’ve been on Vabbi since the game was released- and we’ve earned a lot of influence for our guild, it was amazing in the beginning for WvW, but now it has come to the point were it’s near impossible to get a team together. The transfer for free to any other medium server took more than enough of our Vabbi WvW players, because they seen it as a lost cause, most of us still believe in Vabbi, but we have the lowest population than any other server. We’ve been paired against Blacktide & Arberstone [FR] in the past few months, and they totally walked over us. I know what people are going to say, just pay for the transfer. Or you should have moved as well for free when you had the chance, but it’s not that simple because that doesn’t solve the fact that this is a big problem and should be seen as such.
I’ve been in contact with quite a few Fissure of Woe players & commanders, and they feel the same.
To keep Blacktide at bay last week we forged an alliance with Fissure of Woe to take on the invaders, it was amazing seeing Fissure defend Vabbi in Eternal Battlegrounds while Vabbi held a foothold at their keep. They sent wave after wave of fighters, and Vabbi & Fissure took them down. So alliances like this could also work.
What I’m asking is that you keep the free to transfer open to all tier 9 [EU] & all tier 8 [NA] servers, or have them merged with other servers, or introduce an alliance feature like GW1 had.

Hey, I’ve been having this problems just for the past 2 hours. Its actually pointless to play, my friend is on a different ISP and is also having the problems. So I would think its something to do with GW2 servers, which is unacceptable if we paid a monthly subscription but we don’t so a little down time shouldn’t be a big deal. I’ve had the game from day 1 (3 day headstart), and this is the only problem I’ve ever had to report.
