In WvW, FoW can match anything on a single borderland as for numbers, we once watched you take on Blacktide, and sat on the hill and watched the good show. Then for some reason, we got taken out by sneaky Blacktide :P

We get the visitors, and would be holiday makers, because vabbi is the lowest pop server for both PvE and WvW.

I wouldn’t mind trading places with FoW if you guys want the Red BL? :P

This matchup is honestly boring, I thought playing against a different server for a while would be fun and well the only fun I’ve had all week is running around EB with my Guild Kite.

I’m sorry to say but even playing against BT & AS was more enjoyable.

I can see why some players from WSR moved to vabbi for the week, they wanted to earn some WXP, and I guess thats alright, as being on such an underdog server all you can do is capture stuff.

But you missed all the fun! We were with wsr (tddr) in EB, throwing siege at each other, flying kites and trying to get the most ridiculous pose possible from a box o’fun when the petrification sets in.

Hybrid you are mental and I still can’t beleive that guy threw a flame ram back at you. That was the funniest hour ever.

Between both Hybrid and the WSR guy, I think I seen 3 Golems, 1 Sup-Treb, 2 trebs, and a crap load of rams lol. Anzalias was best tho, he went to look over the side, and outa nowhere 2-3 and even 4 rams spring outa nowhere lol.

Yeah, I get that. You’d be better off looking for Blacktide that early since they generally get on a couple of hours before us.

That said I only see a couple of you running around at the moment so thats about right.

Ahh but you see both of these numbers are true :P Yesterday LNA had a 5 man group, which is big for us. One of us decided to try SM where the 5 of us got both gates down with 1 ram on each one, at which point we called out in teamchat for people to come and help with lord. So really 5 of us did it but 8 people died to the FoW zerg

Guys I seriously don’t know why your moaning, we’ve done this before and honored the pact before it was broken, in a few weeks vabbi will be back to getting kicked in let people enjoy it, some people have been waiting months to get there completion and now they have a chance to get it People of vabbi are used to having +50 most of the time so of course there gonna be excited when there ticking more then that! Just chill, soon things will go back to normal and we’ll be your kicking dog again

That wasn’t a long time ago Jamo, 2nd or 3rd time last we faced BT, after the “pact” was broken. Having some nice friends and commanders in FoW is always a plus plus.

Every week, vabbi does bad, some weeks worse than others, so excuse us for bragging about having a new night cap team, even if its only for a week.

Yes, we’ve got friends in better places, and after this week more friends is other places, but the story will end the same, next week vabbi will more than likely crumble, so say what you all want, you wont ruin this for us this week.

As for sending the zerg right at you? Haha, I’m lovin’ it.

• We’re bragging about a match up because we’re actually proving that we can work nights, better then days. Yes, you lot are mostly in bed, thats your problem really, not ours. So don’t blame us for fighting when we can, this is the EU after all, not alot of servers have night presence, and that goes more than double for Vabbi.

• Our friends, this is still a game, we can make friends with who we want, we wanted to be your friends after all, but you didnt want to have a “pact” you’d rather come to our BL and try and measure beep sizes.

• Any third server we go up against will always try and demoralise both Vabbi and FoW, having a pact with FoW made sence, but you didn’t want to be any part of it, now or in the days to come, so fair enough, we’re the underdogs of t9, we want to see how well FoW do when they get jumped by two servers. Blacktide during the day, vabbi and night, can you blame us? You can’t you’ve done it aswell before, isn’t that how this all started.

Once again, shout out to both Deth & FoF for two amazing nights of caping.

So go whisper to your friends at Arborstone and Blacktide, it seems you’ll make ‘friends’ with anyone just to do a little bit better.

After this post I try and not to be horrible again to fow, or do personal attacks.

As active players in WvW, we’ll make friends with anyone yes. I tend invite both fow, bt and even the recent rof players into our parties at times, to see if they’re friendly, it’s usually the roamers that get invited.

It’s best to make friends, as when it comes down to it, its better than making enemies. You can ask them anything, like if we’re doing a JP, like in EB, and some dont know the way, or short cuts, I’ll help them. It’s still a game after all.

I can’t honestly say that my guild will attack fow, but personally I don’t do it, fow is like the big brother server of vabbi. Like it or not some of out commanders learn from the epic scale fights you guys put up on reset. Lag wars.

When vabbi gets trashed, again, and again, we dont complain. We’re sitting on teamspeak making strategies, anything to combat the constant outmanned. Weither is be a roaming team just capturing for flipping camps, to a mesmer hiding inside a keep/tower.

Just to make it clear, we have friends in BT & AS, but what do you think happens when they’re finished wiping you lot? alot more come to vabbi, its dirty tactics, but hey we knew that would happen.

Indeed, it came to my attention that the relation between Vabbi and FoW has cooled intensively..

I was able to get pass some Vabbi in EB (while they were rushing the keep in their valley), so nothing was wrong at that point. But then all of a sudden some kitten guild(s) from FoW start to hit on Vabbi BL?
So the reaction of Vabbi is very understandable, and the counterreactions to it also.. But the trigger here are those kitten guilds from FoW that dared aggro’ing Vabbi..

Nevertheless, I’m still one of the few who honours the old alliance: I will never ever strike at Vabbi BL, unless they are starting to rush ours.. May we meet in EB for some nice battles!

(for the third server in our underdog tier: have fun, be gentle and show some respect to the lesser populated servers – know that the few you see in WvW are there by choice, so they want to make a difference to their world, no matter how small)

Legends Of Woe & myself setup the old alliance we had back a few months ago, he was the FoW liaison, and I was the Vabbi one. I myself personally wont attack Fissure of Woe players, unless they draw first blood or are from [Jd], but thats a story for another time.

Vabbi has contacts within FoW, and vice versa. It’s actually nice to see them help us, and we help them aswell. All we wanted to do was actually make it a 2v1 fight where both servers/realms stood a good chance. But its impossible when the alliance was first broke by FoW, they captured our BL, next day the alliance was completely broken, and we then helped BT wipe FoW. Vabbi also has contacts in Arberstone and Blacktide, so when FoW try and screw us over we get the zerg directed at FoW.

Ok, this explains some things I guess. I still would like to honour the old alliance so I can focus on fighting BT, the ones who are going to win this matchup. I see no point in fighting Vabbi other then to defend myself when needed…

It’s not the worst server out there that everyone makes it out to believe, we’ve actually got a nice community of players, community teamspeak, and are working on a community website. We’ve got some of the nicest WvW players around, they’re always chit-chattie, which is nice. We’ve got a mixed community of players from europe and america, and some aussies aswell.

I wont lie, its not great, but we’ve been improving over the last few weeks, dragging numbers together!

Quite mature, we tend to report trolls and racists, we dont welcome such people.

Our WvW team isn’t that powerful but we’re able to get around 30+ players at peak time, and 50-60 at reset.

Its mostly contested, but we run events weekly to open them.

Yes, we’re in the process of getting more players & guilds to use the community teamspeak, atm we’ve got quite a good turn out.

We never have queue times to enter the borderlands, but its something we’d like to have maybe.

Alot of Vabbi players don’t do WvW because they see it as a lost cause, but when things actually go our way, ALOT of players show up to battle. It’s quite a sight. :’)

It’s your choice after all, but don’t forget the little guy!

We’re complaining because just 3 weeks ago we beat the ever living snot outta both of you, and in fact we set the new server score record while doing it.
In the mean time we’ve been rolled over by far larger servers who gave us no quarter either, but we held our ground and gained server points each week. We played hard and deserve a whole lot more than being tossed into the trash can tier yet freaking again.
Anet should simply close Vabbi and FoW, or at least remove the 2 servers from the WvW rotation. You can’t beat anybody. You simply don’t have the population to be competitive and getting pulled down to the trash can tier is disrupting the game for your opponents. Last night a large number of RoF players rage quit the game when they saw the match up, which is why you didn’t do so bad, at least for a few hours.
Honestly. Go away. Find another server. Close Vabbi and FoW!

Let me just state this right here and now, each server has the right to take part in WvW, you can’t come on the forum and demand that they close either of these servers down, or remove them from WvW, each server is open to WvW, sPvP & PvE. ArenaNet is not going to listen to one server crying its eye’s out, about being in the last tier, yes the last tier.
How about you actually try and help Vabbi and Fissure of Woe? And not add to the many problems we already face, you come on here and type and type and type, yet you’ve made no effort to help the problem at hand, help us help you? No? Okay then, so we’ve tried our best, and are still improving but the last thing we need is someone coming on here and staying that our servers should be deleted, how would you feel if ArenaNet actually turned around and deleted RoF, and a few other high tier servers, and spread the population into Vabbi, Fissure of Woe & Blacktide/Whiteside Ridge. No? Didn’t think so, so no ArenaNet isn’t gona delete Vabbi to make your life easier, or ours either, keep crying about it though, no one is going to listen.
But if Vabbi, Fissure of Woe, Blacktide & Whiteside Ridge all did get merged together, guess what? You’d still be in the last tier, aka the trash can, only this time, you’d be on the losing team as tier9 would become the new tier8. You really want that for Ring of Fire? No, didn’t think so.

I’m not sure what’s happening here again, but the last time we faced Rings of Fire there was an extremely high amount of bots/hackers on both Fissure of Woe and Vabbi, It was unfair as Fissure BL was impossible to play on because of the continuous battle happening outside border limits, It will be a bit convenient if it happens now again, it would be then clear that RoF is just another hack-tastic server. Similar to Hacktide, cough Blacktide. So, Vabbi and Fissure are greatly outnumbered this week again, looks like camp capping, and Siege razer/crusher are the way to go.

What kitten ed me off was that the guy posts these 3 commanders that don’t even command alot anymore. They actually try and get out of commanding by playing on alts, then they beg me to command if there isn’t already one.

I’ve did alot for vabbi, and never got credit or recognized for what I’ve done, thats fine, I didn’t ask for it, but when 3 other lazy kitten commanders get named and I don’t screw that, I’m gona kick up.

Winchester & Hybrid are good commanders and good leaders, they can make a huge difference on Vabbi if they become more dedicated. The Russian guilds need to help out too of course.. it’s like over 50% of Vabbi’s populaton I think lol.

Vabbi just cheated their way into Overlook. Not that they needed to as only 2 RoS players could be arsed to defend this far into this lopsided matchup. I take it you have reported the cheaters, Vabbi.

I was here at the time, It was a bugged siege equipment that once completed bugged the builders inside the wall. Instead of jumping back out they fought on, Vabbi doesn’t have to cheat to win, a mesmer that was also there then exploited the bug portaling more in, he’s been reported, not the builders.

However they should have jumped the wall and came out, and started on the second ram, but they seen three little RoS and dicided to kill them instead, then finishing the job.

The same thing happened last night, at the same keep. Red Overlook, I reckon Anet should have a look into the EB keep, and remap the walls so this doesnt happen.

again, 3/4 of our server is taking a break this week. This means people are either doing WvW with their upscales or avoiding it completely. Or just kitten around, which is cool, at least the pressure is kinda gone atm. And I’m not complaining about being ganged on WvW, not at all. I managed to escape, came back, ressed my partner and took the camp with her. T’was good.

I wasn’t trying to be even remotely sarcastic, I’m trying to show you, even if you had the almighty extra 3/4 of your so called army of buddies, Vabbi wouldn’t care, you come in here trying to force you ways on us, we’re pushing back saying we don’t want to be labeled the same as you lot, we are different, and we’ve had to stick together and
adapt to everything that Anet throughs at us. We’ve even had the pleasure of having Anets finest on our server for a week. RoF zerged us even harder. At least they banned all the stupid bots standing in our citadel, and the hackers fighting outside of Fissure’s Borderlands.

I’ve had serveral people from RoS try and recruit me into joining infact it was RiOT’s GL, why would I leave something that I worked so hard to build?, my WvW based guild in Vabbi. The players that are loyal to vabbi and fissure of woe will stay.

I’m starting to hope we get put against RoS next week aswell now, and see all the guys complain more about how bad vabbi is, how bad fissure of woe are.

P.S. I’m sorry to all those nice people in RoS that you’ve had a bad week, look on the bright side, you shouldn’t see from us again. And if you do, you can blame anet like the rest of us! :P

Grow up, you’ve been here and seen what it is like being in the trashcan tier, we have been punished since this new system was introduced, Ring of Fire and now you lot. Atleast RoF had better sportsmanship, they we’re actually nice to talk with. If are of RoS are like you, we cant wait till your gone aswell.
The only server out there that either Fissure or Vabbi can go toe-2-toe with is Blacktide, and even they’re lost LOADS of players in the last few weeks. We care barely capture anything from RoS because its all t3/waypointed. Its disappointing that you are all up in our face when we didn’t ask for this either. I say if your team is so bored, let us capture all your points, and left Vabbi and Fissure fight it out. It’s not like your lot are playing right? lol.

I don’t know about other servers you faced, but the situation on RoS at the moment is that no one can be kittened to play in this matchup, except do world exploration and maybe cap a few camps.

Arberstone, Blacktide, and our all time fav, Fissure or Woe. There is others, just can’t remember which German & French server it was, but that was when Vabbi was high enough in the tier ladder. My answer to you is, switch servers then for the week? 16g ->to, 16g <-back, Piken Square is having nice battles, then there? Good luck!

3/4 of our force is missing and if we had the same amount of people in WvW as we did last week, your cute little omega and alpha golems wouldn’t even reach SM’s gate.

Yes, we do wait until everything dies down, thats why we do our events in the afternoon or early morning. When the enemy isnt expecting it, we strike.
RoS’s so called “PuGs”, because you’ve all left WvW this week right?, still outmanned us each time, but the tactics we have to implement should show you that you need to more than outman Vabbi, you need to be forcefully camping our respawn. Otherwise if left alone long enough Vabbi & Fissure of Woe are gona wipe keeps, towers, and stonemist again, so guys keep upgrading and wasting money, we waste nothing with guild golems!

Vabbi doesn’t care who we get put against. We’re taking SM atleast 5 times a week in events. If we fail we’ll bring more.

Also FRS has a home, they felt so good at RoS that they decided to stay there.
They even merged with DEX.
Also your funny suggestions would not really help, RoS has not a really big WvW population (compared with other servers we fought even for example FR and UW), its the guilds and the teamwork that makes us strong.

So you would dare to call me out when MiLkZz said our servers i.e. FoW & Vabbi should be deleted and removed from WvW, typical. It was a reply to his rage at us for being in the mess we’re in, he isn’t helping but making it worse and its people that are like him that Anet will listen to, we dont need it or want it.

About FRS. (Collective info from around 5-7 Vabbi players that refused to move with FRS)
FRS joined Vabbi with around 30~ish players, recruited all the active vabbi wvw players and then jumped ship with them after 2-3weeks. (Around 100 players, paying for thier transfer to move aswell). Imo if you have to pay for a guild to join your server, or pay to move whats left of a server out your sad. We had the same problem with Piken Square trying to steal whats left of the mess we’re in.
FRS are some of the best players I’ve seen in WvW, but they jump servers too much, and I doubt they’re stay in RoS. Excelllent has my respect for being an outstanding commander, and always on the ball.

Yes, and its something that MANY players put alot of time into. I stopped playing GW2 for the better part of 6-7 months, so ib4u try and run the no life story, its silly.

There’s been some good movement in the past two days, …well at least while the bulk of the EU sleeps, with both Vabbi and FoW taking Stonemist (repeatedly) from Arborstone. Although Arborstone always comes back hard with the numbers against us both, last night in Au prime time saw some epic fights. Don’t give up Vabbi and FoW!

I’ve only seen FoW with Stonemist Castle 3 times since the refresh, And vabbi has had it over 7 times, lol.

Wouldn’t really class it as repeatedly, just pot luck.

To be fair FoW and Vabbi are where they deserve to be seeing as their only tactic is to hide in their little invincible areas and attack at range or just stand there even when they outnumber us, pathetic really and no wonder they are a joke.

I’m not sure if you realise but vabbi doesn’t have a zerg, at most we can muster up is 30 players that rarely play WvW or even listen to commanders at the best of times. Its not bad commanding, its players not caring.

We usualy stick to the small roaming, of 5-10 players.

You want to know whats pathetic?

Both Fissure of Woe & Vabbi have had an increased amount of bots/hackers ever since RoF joined tier9, They sit in our Citadel & EB waypoints. On the fissure borderlands there is a continuous battle going on outside the map, in an area where we cant take screenshots as proof / report them.

I respect all the guilds on Fissure of Woe for holding out this long vs this madness. Well done! You’ve done your realm proud. Including the [Jd]‘s, [AKP]’s, [SAB]’s was fun fighting you lot all week.

For all the other vabbians that play WvW on a regular basis, thanks aswell! Vabbi would have been unbearable without this week.

Because we’re such a small server, every commander on vabbi will notice new guilds, we noticed two knew players on our server, that have joined after we’re got placed against RoF.
The same guild but in greater numbers is infact on RoF. Because of the name and shame CoC I can’t post SS or reveal the name of the guild, I’d quick happy PM you it. If you want.

And out of the four main WvW commanders, three noticed that we got zerged by players of the same guild.

Call it how ever you want, we call it cheating, and both players got mass reported for everything under the sun, and everything possible, by all the vabbi wvw players.

Vabbi doesn’t fight dirty, we fight fair, just the same as FoW. Even if we did fight dirty we wouldn’t have the players to back the tactic up.

This scenario has been happening in T9 in EU for months now. This new matchup system should cause more rotation in and out of T9 than previously occurred. The real issue here is that Fissure of Woe and Vabbi are usually facing this sort of problem.

Then try to help those realms. Its heartbreaking to come online and see we’re outmanned and a zerg waiting outside our respawn.

Well, while the so called alliance was going on there was Vabbi groups coming to our BL while yours was all green. Such is human nature. I’m sure anyone who has tried to stop their server mates attacking someone will attest to that.
By the way, Vabbi BL is my last choice of map and I personally have only been there about 5 times. Some friends recenty joined [Jd] so I’ve gone to play with them and Psy sure does love your hills.

But I’ll take your middle finger and remember it. Maybe I’ll come die in your BL instead of getting run over by BT in mine, for a change!

Well considering it was Vabbi that attacked us first, I’ll quite happily be back in your Borderlands soon.

Not one guild from that alliance attacked fissure, they we’re all informed. Everyone was told if someone from vabbi attacked fissure its was free kills. And like wise from fissure attacking vabbi.

Today, we’ve finally played against Ring of Fire, we’ve tried our best to over come their numbers, but its impossible. They’ve got spies on our server. Its also annoying to be put against such a high populated server. They’ve got queues just to enter into Vabbi & Fissure BL’s.

I want to know why the developers want to punish vabbi & fissure, are you seriously trying to make us leave our server? what your doing is pushing your customers away from the game. I spend quite alot of money buying gems off your gems store. I support your game, I expect some support back to vabbi aswell. We aren’t defeated yet, but we cant win either.

Yeah I know Legends Of Woe, great guy. Helped vabbi out alot, and started an alliance with vabbi from fissure of woe, a few months back which worked really well. Its a pitty [Jd] & [AKP] couldn’t get on the same page and help us take on blacktide, they’d rather annoy vabbi because they’re slightly “Bigger”.

Thanks to all the guilds that took part in that short lived alliance, and to the rest of you that refused or was stubborn/rude about it, I raise my middle finger!

RE is a PvX guild that enjoy all aspects of GW2 but we LOVE epic battles in WvW. We are a group of active players with experiences with many other MMOs in additions to GW2. Why not join Vabbi? Its in the EU, but could totally use another WvW guild to boost it out of the forgotten zone.

I agree vabbi is a such a loss for members.

I’ve been commanding all night in vabbi, and most of this week. Vabbi has finally united together, and its amazing. We’ve been out smarting Blacktide all day today, and wiped serveral of their zergs. It was amazing to see how good we are in combat when we went toe-2-toe with Blacktide. Its an awesome feeling inside when you see 20 little vabbians wipe 30+ Blacktides. (No Siege or Keep/Tower/Camp to hide behind).

P.S. For all those wanting to bring their guilds to Vabbi. Don’t! We dont need guilds coming here, and complaining about our numbers, and leave after a week and then to add insult to injury, stealing the last of our dedicated WvW members, like [FRS] Fremen Sietch.

I heard from a friend that Blacktide has now lost over 300 players (Full Guild) to a server change. Things just keep getting better.

Fissure has turned its attention now to Vabbi as the threat that we possibly could pose. Haha..

Just like to say Vabbi will still fight the good fight, even tho Fissure has turned its back on us.

The blackholes just got bigger within our tier.
