I find the Imp/Zero drama quite funny. I’m friends with both sides, and I find it sad that both sides couldn’t come to an agreement. Your on the same server for Christ sake, if you cant stand each other, there is 3 BL’s and an EB, spread away from each other, and behave lol.
There’s nothing to come to an agreement over that’s the thing, we are quite happy to co-operate with people if they ask us nicely – e.g “hey could you keep them busy here while we…” (although we aren’t fussed with winning so we aren’t going to be coming to weekly meetings or stuff like that ^^), but we object to people joining a zone and saying “Turn off your tags or GTFO” to other people on the server and then call anyone who disagrees with their methods useless.
As for the second thing in the evening, we had done exactly what you suggested and changed zone to get away from them.. they followed :P
It’s more Zero drama than anything, they’re aggressive to the entire server, hell it started with them telling other people to leave the zone! Only reason we are even involved (as you may have noticed we are generally quiet in game and stay separate) is because unlike most we don’t care if they leave, so we’re willing to stand up and tell them to stop acting like they own the place. We’ve had enough of big guilds coming to low tiers and throwing weight around in the past, and from what I’ve seen so do several Vabbi ^^
Oh I agree which is probably why me, Hybrid and Jamo troll these larger guilds that want to come to Vabbi and help (ruin) the friendly community that we have, with invalid information, snarky comments, and general hate, example you seen how nasty we got to that person that came from “Piken Square” w/ Hybrid, and the German guild with 400+ players w/ Jamo.
No guild in their right mind wants to come to Vabbi to “help” the server grow, because simply most of us don’t want it to grow or get bigger.
Two reasons why I’m on Vabbi.
- No WvW waiting, No Queues.
- No Overflows
Vabbi is a quite place, yes there is a little drama here from time to time, but is mainly internal and and solved quickly.
We tend to welcome all new guilds on Vabbi and even new ones that transfer here, but no one really knows what goes on inside Vabbi, then when all these new guilds show up and start demanding that we do something wrong, or we’re not doing it right, then we have a problem. I believe there is a term called “elitist” or simply “jerks” will also work.
I’ve did my fair bit for Vabbi, I give the Vabbi WvW players a Team speak 3 server to use, a community website, I tell you no new guild will join Vabbi and demand anything from me or my guild, because I wont stand for it.
We’ve been doing alright for ourselves so far and we don’t need to be told what we do wrong. I think many from Vabbi will also agree that if you do something that works for you, why change? Change only if something new is brought to the table.

most of the time when we of wsr go to vabbi bl is to cap green stuff away atleast i am i didn’t siege alot of red in vabbi territory :P. however most of our players dont like it when vabbi enters our bls when fow controls yours so they decide to target red.
ahh and to fow screen says enough :P.

Ofcourse, your blue, attacking Red wont earn you the points to stay ahead, but attacking red also means that we’ll attack back, sure EB is open season, but you dont want to have to defend your BL and EB at once from two foes.
As red we’ll mainly attack Green to gain the most points, that changes when Blue takes the lead.
It also works both ways as well, when your BL is Green, the chooooooo chooooooo karma commanders will attack you.

Easy match-up for the hell to come ahead. I hope in the 2nd week we get matched vs 2 titans, than match with 1 titan.
Of course the real question is the HamXJam romance. Will Jamo admit his feelings in public?

Always a first for everything. Yet even having your “Best” week and you still lost by more than 80,000points. Already 115,000 down this week though
But this is one of the worst possible matchup we’ve ever had, I don’t remember the last time we came across RoS they had this many.

Also I see Princess Jenny has hopped back, seems to move every single week between Vabbi/RoS. One week it was “I’m from RoS, you guys suck” next it’s “I’m really from Vabbi, just visiting Surmia” and things like “I’ll lead our guys to a tower so you can take this keep from us”. Despicable, Vabbi/WSR ganging up against Surmia would make sense for a more balanced matchup, but trying to have people within RoS deliberately lose stuff is stupid regardless of whos side she’s ‘really’ on – we’re here to fight not be handed things on a platter!
This person has been jumping around Vabbi, RoS, GH alot! I feel sorry for my friend that paid for him to transfer to Vabbi from GH after they got kicked out of FRS/DEX?.
I’ve been on Vabbi since release, only jumping in and out of other servers for WvW experience, and knowledge, I’ve a fair idea who the person is, and they joined the band-wagon to Vabbi with FRS, and left with them.
I say we could always use every player we could get, thats one player RoS can keep ^^.
In my honest opinion, I wish there was two forms of commander, a PvE one (Green tag maybe?) and the blue one for WvW. Or improved commander abilities, maybe WvW abilities?

Ahh, I really should explain myself better, rather than let others fill in the gaps.
Err.. the intention was that, PvE commanders wouldn’t be able to show their tags in WvW, and make it an ability that you have to be say? Rank 50 for it to turn blue and use it in WvW? Or something to prevent the stupidity that destroys our servers.
Yes PvE commanders are vital for commanding when no-one else wants to, or a guild is running a raid, but they should have to work for the right imo, like the rest of us do just to level up, to get better abilities to help our teammates.

I’ve been working a lot lately with various guilds to help grow our community here on Vabbi. I have to admit I’ve been on many servers since release, and I can honestly say that Vabbi is just something else, its really friendly, we have no trolls, no-one wishing ill will on us. We’ve grown as a community here, I have to say its like one big family, all the main guilds are pulling together and the really big ones are even helping the smaller ones. It’s great. Sadly what many think of us isn’t that true, we’ve got some of the best players I’ve seen around, because we’re so small we have to increase in skill to take on mindless 1 bashing mobs.
Please come visit us! You wont regret it!

Honest question, why does FoW keep hiding in keeps/towers, then veil out? Then leave BL when it gets trebed. Sigh.. open random open combat fights are much more enjoyable than have to retreat to an objective. I’m not saying your tactic is bad.. I’m just saying haven’t you learnt something new being a tier higher? How do you expect vabbi to learn, if our besties don’t learn anything either.
Maybe I should play in EB more often, open fields galore.
