Guild Wars 2

Build.
This is basically your typical Power ranger build but with added Druid traits that I have been messing with. I would substitute a smokescale in here somewhere if I could just to test.
I like how it plays so far but anyone have ideas on how to make it better if possible?

I like the electic wyvern, just wish it was usable in PvP.

As much as i laughed at them when seeing them the first time, they actually caused us to wipe on eb ealier today were the two of them were blocking the view when entering kitten in the wall and missing that enemies was pushing out, so for me this need to be fixed instantly or removed from the beta or at least wvw until it is done.

I’m not sure what server you on, but on mine Ranger is actually sought after for havoc’ing in particular since two rangers can duo or trio even the castle. Granted, you’ll generally want more for it, but its possible. I’m only up to solo’ing towers. Keeps and castle are still too hard for me to take…

Also depending on your server, most servers I play on don’t care what profession you play on for WvW. Granted, sometimes we need tanks more so than healers and elementalists… but if you can take and tank on any profession like GW2 does allow, then you can be helpful to most WvW zerg parties and havoc groups.

Eh, I just never bothered with Ascended gear since I don’t do fractals that much. Might pick up a set now but that’s about it.

Sylvari, I just love the options that they have. Humans have way to much babyface going on for me.
I would make more Charr but the clipping issues they have just gets to me.
I don’t mind Norn/Asura.

In this forum are a lot of people that enjoy healer theme. With Dragonhunter can get so much better and also give so much support than the druid.
So i think is important to help them in this regard. It is not noise it’s something i discovered..

It’s still a Guardian build, post it in the Guardian forums where people who actually like Guardians will see it. Maybe one of them might like to try healing.

Its fun when you waypoint on them right when they almost catch up to you.

I actually noticed that not everyone was getting the debuff, dunno if that’s intended or not.

I’ve managed to kill him with a group once today, just need to get a big group and be ready to revive a lot of people. Still a pain but its manageable.
Healing helps also.

I’ve been enjoying Druid a lot personally.

I do know of the self styling kits, I use the new long one also, and the bun type one. It’s nice to hear peoples opinions on this like I have said tho, I would be nice to have a wider variety of the longer type hair for the people who want something different then the ‘edgy thorn type’

These are a few of the ones I designed that I thought would look nice on a sylvari- I used my main as a model.

Ooooh, I would love that first long hairstyle on my necro. We need more longer hairstyles like that for sylvari that actually use leaves and grasses. Variety is nice and there is a lot they can do when it comes to sylvari. And who says they can’t have more “humanish” hairstyles considering they are based on humans.

Otherwise very nice concepts, I would draw some myself but I’m not the best when it comes to sylvari and actually making the hair look like leaves lol.

Jormags the same size, it just doesn’t have as much of a glow.

Personally I just want the class fixed in general.

Tbh I just don’t like how they responded about it. I was never considering actually using it a lot personally, sure its a fun build. But power ranger still works better in PvP for me.

Thing is your basically sacrificing your heal, 2 trait lines, 2 utilities and elite skill for some boons. And it can still be countered with boon removal/corruption/etc…
I get that the quickness wasn’t working as intended but they could just have it not work with the heal or just capped it.

The thing is now I’m worried about how Druid is going to be handled post release of HoT.

Is other professions going to knee jerk a nerf to it because they don’t like the healing/etc?
I’m almost expecting it to get nerfed at this point, and I don’t think I am going to be surprised by this point if it did.
It’s been about 3 years now that I’m used to not being a wanted class in most game areas and being the most bottom level. I really love the class and it’s my most favorite one.
But I want to actually be an effective member of a team and not have such a bad stigma. It’s just tiring after a bit.

We should have expected this kind of nerf by now.

Well, it was nice being barely relevant with boons for about a day or so. Considering the build could be countered easily and caused self implosion with boon corruption.

Tried this out a bit in PVP, actually is a fun build. But it’s not the most Op.
I still like the power type builds more atm myself.

It’s a fantasy game where we go smacking big scary beasts with swords and magic sticks.

Because having a pig flying around breathing fire would be very weird?

But no, continue on with insulting people just because they are excited about a new pet dragon. How dare they be happy about something that you don’t like.

Tbh I like the fact that they don’t go over spending on trailers like WoW does. That money can be put to better use then a 2-3 minute trailer.
But of course I’ll always like the more artistic ones they have then this type. I just like that look.

Please change the staff holding animation to the caster version of it, and it would be nice if we get the pets instantly in the BWE coming up.
Otherwise I really like this spec and it’s quite unique. The only thing I’m worried about is how useful healing is going to be with the content besides raids/WvW. I’m currently waiting to try Druid out before I say what I think of it completely though.
