Heres some long Sylvari hairstyle ideas from the interwebs, it doesn’t even have to be super long. Just medium length or past the shoulder, there is just so many short hair styles now it would be nice to have some long ones.
I would try drawing but i’m not the best at it lol. I also thought that it would be neat if some styles could have branches/“horns” like the first one

Number 7 addresses this. Lore-wise, it’s possible Sylvari don’t have an developed funeral/memorial culture.

Lol that was still such a bad excuse with the no death rituals. We have had examples of them with sylvari. They had death markers in the ps green knight story, trees planted in several outposts for dead sylvari and they are still mourning Riannoc. Not to mention Kileens memorial after she was killed in the brand.

Heck they could have at least planted a tree for him in Fort Trinity/the grove. Or y’know a military memorial since he did lead the pact unless the pact apparently lacks death customs. I can deal with pacing/only needing one funeral but dont pull it off as having no death customs to use.

Frankly I would have loved to see confused Sylvari trying to figure out a funeral for a firstborne if they really want to go that way. Not to mention that it would have a great opportunity to flesh out Sylvari culture in that case. It didn’t even have to be in the episode they could have just added something to the world.
I’m not trying to get on you or anything here but the way Anet did it soured the episode for me. It makes it harder for me to care about the story when they are so quick to throw away a main character just because he wasn’t liked by everyone.

It would at least help if you didn’t have to spend charges on stuff you bought in the store.

At least we can mock Uncle Trombone for dying to a bug now.

The Mursaat were like that in Gw1 also tbh.
Heck they dragged Saul off to who knows where for not believing in them.
Frankly I was hoping he would smite Caudecus while he was at it.

You could also have Gw2/profession/race/dragon themed keychains. Buttons/pendants and pins could work too.

I’ve been waiting for 4 years now for a long loose and leafy hair for my necro, please anet.

The first time on my Ranger I basically flailed around the room while my pet bit her butt and focused on the adds.
Due to it being Druid/ranger it was slow but I didn’t find it hard or anything. Especially once she gets in the Spinning phase you just get the power stream from the shard and make her run into the line.
I used astral form 5/barrage/vine line to clear adds quick when they came out. It might also depend on how squishy your build is.

For the Jade Armour I just kept the bloodstone ability line going constantly and sat it ontop of it. It killed it pretty quick just doing that

Clearly we need some Bloodstone shard themed wings backpack/glider with this update.
It can even have the same theme of the new backpack if you want. :P

Oh! Or perhaps you can add glider shard wings to your Bloodstone packpack?

I still prefer just keeping the Destiny’s Edge name personally.

Y’know I can see why the updates might take a bit longer due to them being voiced now. Your toon didn’t have to be voiced back during the earlier seasons and from what I understand it takes at least a month or two depending on the amount of lines and actors.
Of course thats not accounting for everything else that goes into making them.

And personally? I don’t miss the two weeks updates. Sure it was nice to have new stuff,but half the time stuff would be bugged and i’d always end up getting busy with real life and not having time to log in(or remember) to finish achieves. I’d rush through the base content and then hoped I’d be able to get all the achieves done in time before the next part came lol.

As another old player it makes me happy to see the Tribal set come back. I’ve had the full Stalwart set but never got a chance to get the Tribal.
I also don’t agree with locking skins to having been there at a certain time, especially in a game like Gw2 where a big part of it is customizing your character.

I feel you Op, I haven’t done much with Gw2 for the past (5-6)months since I don’t like the raids and I already did everything else I wanted to.
The want for S3 is real.

The roleplaying stuff would be cool to though.

Faolain acting like that didn’t surprise me much but it does suck since I was hoping for more Nightmare Court stuff from her. Hopefully Duchess Crysanthea will come through for us there. I actually couldn’t take that scene seriously due to the facial expressions going on.
Eirs death still makes me sad though. I see why they would do it but y’know.
I’m actually more salty about Trahearne still personally.

Too bad Brahm is such a lame character (IMO), he doesn’t seem worthy of being handed a legacy. Everyone in DE 2.0 is a sorry excuse for a hero.

I agree about the legacy but I dunno, Braham/DE 2.0 have grown on me since we first met them. Although I will agree that some of the writing was poor with their parts.

I actually haven’t played Gw2 much for like 5-6 months now since I’ve been waiting for the story since I wasn’t interested in raids. The mighty need for S3 to see what happens after is still their but it’s going to suck waiting even longer for chapters after that lol.

Well, at least WoWs expack should be out by then. So at least I will have something to do during those 2-3 months.

I’ll admit that the area looks neat but I really didn’t care for it. I much more prefer Auric Basin.
It also doesn’t help that I have a tendency of getting lost in caves and that place is like one giant cave. Sign cutting got me completely lost at the end when I first did it, I kept going the wrong way or being above the level or below the level I wanted. Literally everything trying to kill me during it didn’t help either.
So I guess you can say that I avoid that place unless I want a meta kill lol. They sure chose the right name for it though, tangled it is.

Anet please, these outfits were cool in Gw1.
It would be neat to see some Gw1 armours return to though, they had some interesting looks.

No I don’t use other media. To be fair, if they have not done him by now they probably wont. Same if they don’t finish up with what happened with the AC story soon, now the story can pick up that thread with out it being forced in, after 3 years we can kinda put it to bed too that it will just be left.

Thanks for the replies Gaile, and auras are also something that I would love to see returned somehow as well. It was nice to see Fireball returned to its original look too.

This is a smaller issue compared to those but it would be nice to see Kudzus projectile effects returned. They originally left a nice flower trail but it seems to have been removed over time and now you only see the golden spear if it shows up at all. Especially considering that both short bow legendaries have large and easily seen projectiles when compared to the longbow. I’m grateful for the effects update that it got but it would be nice to see one of the main skill part of it again, if it was added to the effects LOD option that would be fine too.
I’ve been testing it both on highest and low/medium settings with the lod off but it still does not show it.I used the highest possible settings when I took my screens.

It’s alright if this can’t be fixed but it would be nice to see it back in for Kudzu wielders.

yeah the animations were probably better before but this is a minor detail compared to the fact that YOU CAN FINALLY MOVE.

I actually never had much of an issue with the not being able to move thing, once you learned how to work with the tricks you could use it pretty well. Was a nice weapon in PvP since it kept up with your target and tracked stealth, as well as the double leap trick.
I also don’t consider animations to be a minor detail since thats a big part of the race I choose to use, I also like having nice visuals when fighting. They can make it work with movement without having to use awkward animations.

Please bring back Malyck Anet, he’s someone that I’ve been waiting to meet again for three years now. It was odd not to see him or his tree around in an expansion centered in the jungle.

I like the banners/ships but I do agree that the waters are a bit much with the blobs.

I still wan’t to see a ranger rifle spec that consists of us shooting pocket raptors and other wildlife at people.

I don’t mind it,but it’s only worked with my green Sylvari so far. My necro is way to white/black for it to match other dyes lol.

Nj every time I see that thread I misread FA as that too.

For PvP you can still run Lb power ranger,but Druid still tops it if your doing ranked.
PvEs still that one Druid build I believe but I still run my spotter cause i’m to lazy to go make new gear lol. I also have Kudzu, so y’know I gotta try to use lb as much as I can since I like that thing.
I’m not sure about WvW.

Worth it tbh.

Doggie seems to know what I mean…………………but yeah it’s hard to describe. The base textures rather than look like trees……….look like a cross between a corpse and leaves….so :P……….especially around the private parts and along the back and shoulders, for example. Just so many wierd lines.

It’s supposed to look like that. I also like the skin texture and find that the Humans could be made better,but that comes down to personal taste.

I remember once when I kittened off an entire enemy zerg while solo roaming and had a Pirates of the Caribbean moment with them chasing me across the borderland. Funtimes.

I’d also wait to see how it settles down for a bit since the merges just happened.

Sure TC has huge queues because they became a huge bandwagon 1 week before the patch when some really big guilds decided they wanted to game the system. And BG poached a bunch of guilds from servers who were worried about the future of WvW.

Funnily enough Mag got the server they were trying to game for since it got switched last min.
