Guild Wars 2

So i have come across this “Beautiful Pendant” item, old reference to Guild Wars 1.

And it is more or less worthless as an equip, and costs 20 silver.

So far i have found no use for this, but i’m looking into connections with Rurik or Lady Althea.

Does this Item have any potential use in game or would it be a wild goose chase, has anyone found anything on their travels too indicate an use for it?

Or any possible locations for a Rurik/Althea Memorial/Grave where this item would have an potential?

Id love to see the polearm, and as for the tengu, i really thought “bazaar of the four winds” would give us more about them.

I have been thinking alot about the chronomancer, and time manipulation, wouldn’t that be our current mesmer?

And i think a summoner could work, that has a main focus on summons, like the ranger has their pets.

I’d love to see a new soldier type be brought in trough the living story, or perhaps the current story is warming us in to a new aspect focus classed?

I would love to hear what Arena Net has to say.

I’m just wondering more or less what arena net has planned for us, like tasty details, something to look forward too.

As i understand, there is no Expansion Pack on the table at the moment, or any plans for one.

And this living story/additional content is updating twice a week. (And i love it by the way)

So my thougts then are as following;

1. Will we ever see the addition of new playable races, in the future of GW2? And if so, how long do we get to wait for it?

2. Same as above, but with additional proffesions.

3. Will we see the introduction of new skills being implemented, like a “Skill Update”.

4. New weapon types for all proffesions, I’d love to see this.

5. New “Epic” boss additions.

6. More on the Dragons movements.

Amongst other things, Will ever see any of these?

I just hope that more jumping puzzles that are added follow the old formula.

Think of this like “premium content” for those who put in the time and effort. So if your guild can’t meet the requirements, perhaps you should join a larger one that can? You can have multiple guilds (up to 4 I think). Find one that’s willing to let you rep for special events like the Guild Missions.

Why should this be a requirement to play the additional content?

I’m a sucker for the jumping puzzles in GW2, i really am, i loved to explore to find them and everysingle one, now as there as been more JPs adeed i wanted to go and do them, however. They happen to be locked for guild activities.

I have a guild, right? yes i do, does it have 20+ active people? No it does not. reason? We like to be a small running guild.

Now my problem comes from the fact that it is difficult to get influence going to pull off the guilda activities, and what is even worse is that we have to start we the guild bounties.

Why is that? It feels like we are being put trough the tedious not so fun things, which we can’t even pull off cause of the minimal time limit to hunt a moving object.

I’d love to get to the guild rush with my few but great guildies, or the jumping puzzles, but as it is right now, it doesn’t feel obtainable.

So once in awhile i pass by these areas teasing about a guild jumping puzzle, knowing i can’t go in there, my guild is too “small” and i feel i’m being left out of some great content.

Maybe next major update give us some regular jumping puzzles, or give us small guilds a bigger chance to join the fun (and trust me, alot of us wants too.)

In gw1 one of my past times was going into the underworld, never maid it too dhuum himself, but non the less i find dhuum to be an interesting boss.

Now, i wonder if Dhuum will make an apperance in GW2, or have the underworld open as an explorable or dungeon. (And i’m aware Mad Kings Domain is a part of the underworld)

I’ve seen the portals to the Underworld in areas linked to said place. So i think the connection is very much alive.

But if they bring back the underworld, how would it be? Would we actually fight Dhuum? Maybe meet an avatar of grenth?

I’m curious about thoughts and actual lore about this.

There was a dragon(a former minion of Kralkatorrik) in crystal desert during gw1, maybe its that one?
also the desolation and crystal desert are essentially the same area. seeing as the desolation is just south of what we know as the crystal desert.

And it looks to small to be an elder dragon by itself.

Perhaps this is magumma wastes and that is rotscale?

In 2009 and the community got treated with a teaser of Guild Wars 2.
This made me of course jump up and down in hype and excitement little too know that it would take 3 years for the game to be released afterwards

But, out of nostalgia i decided to check some of the older content videos, like the teaser given to us, and i noticed something.

Not only some of the design changes, but also areas that are reworked or non existent at all.

And I can safely say i have been everywhere the game allows me to go.
But about 3:50 into the video I see a dragon, a dragon and area i have yet too see, and he/she looks kinda dead with it’s mouth now as an entrance. and the area looks like a desert, The crystal desert?

And if so be the crystal desert, is this dragon then Spoilerglint?
Or another dragon.

The question is, is this possible future content, or just removed all together?

Anet, i think you will find keeping this dungeon around to re-visit later on, will be a good idea.

i do love the new dailies though!

It felt fun figuring them out and do them, and not the same dull thing everyday :P

I don’t know how many of you have seen this, but i had a strange encounter just now, which i have also read about before.

So now i reach out to the community for some information, maybe help.

Today i was roaming divintys reach, and upon approching the graveyard from above, i saw a crying servant.

From what i read about before, this servant disappears in a puff of smoke as soon as you approach her.

So i didn’t take any chances, and i went ahead to screen cap this moment (attached to this post).

Now, i tried to carefully observe and approach her, only to have her disappear in a puff of smoke, right before my eyes.

Who is this mysterious crying servant?

Does anybody know anything about her?

It was night time in game.
Server clock was at 02:29 – (11:29 am – GMT+1)
Server residing Henge of Denravi.

Aslo records claim her existance before halloween update.

So we did finally get help last night, and upon reflection i realize that it is not easy to help and fix issues for people. However last night we had a lovley GM named Serena come on and help us in our overflow, for this i belive everyone was grateful, so i like to take my time to thank Serena and Anet for coming out their way to help us

This is a one time event, and im on this overflow too, i feel snuffed off this event.

I’m on an overflow, so i can’t apparently state which server i’m on, however.

The phase 3 halted for us and now won’t progress, doess this mean we are going to miss out on this event? can you arenanet maybe send a GM to my location for im loged in right now, and fix it for us?

The escort team rested, then halted and won’t move anymore.

ive always been a fan of primeval since gw1
shame i can’t use it properly

how about they impliment a head hiding feature while wearing full helms?

So ever since the beginning of the game launch, i have always fancied the primeval armor skin(sweet nostalgic trip to olden days).

Now, ever since the begining, the helmet of the armor has been giving me an issue, my character’s beard is going trough my helmet, a clipping issue.

Because of this i always keep my helmet hidden, but i feel that since i paid for it trough the gem shop, this service should be working.

I have bug reported it on several occasions, also tried customer support. No luck, as of this day my helmet still clips with my beard.

Arena net, please fix this, a quick lil fix, so i can finally enjoy wearing my helmet without having too look like a clown, picture attached btw.

They seemed to have resolved this from todays update, however now i am getting a new issue in the same mission. Now i cannot progress beyond “defend the front gate” part, after the final wave of foes, the game halts progress and mission wont proceed, did this mission 2 more times afterwards, still same lockup, even the third time with a diffirent person taking the lead. Nothing works, submitted reports, and i just want to get past this too actually finish my personal storyline. Please help us arena net, we want to play trough your wonderful game :/

Hello bug exterminators.

I have an issue with my personal story.
“The Battle of Fort Trinity” to be precise.

What happens is that i go up too Trahearne and the objictive about reporting to him gets greyed out, and then nothing.

The quest won’t proceed after this point, and this has been going on for a long time.

I hoped this was fixxed in the latest build, but sadly it was not.

I beg of you, mighty bug exterminators, please help me.

I would love to continue my personal story.

I have uploaded a screenshot of the location, what i see when i talk to him, and how my story hs progressed so far.

My sincerest thanks and apprecitation from me and my fiancé.
We got our “Hacked Account” issue resolved now, and we are most happy.
My lady was happy to tears to get her account back, and now we can play together again.

I myself got hacked,due to someone changing my E-mail.I would think that if Anet got a request to change the Email to Gw2,they would at least have the option to confirm this through You’re Email befor allowing you to preceed forth into the game.It’s simple,why was this not an option?

Looking at some of these post were people have been waiting for weeks on end for a response is scarey to see,not to mention that alot of us prepurchased the Gw2 and to get no response what so ever reguarding the issue can become really bothersome.If you paid for something ahead of time,you want it to work,if i doesn’t,you also expect to get it fixed quickly or get refunded .Sure you don’t have to pay every month for the game,but my Huny did pay alot of money to prepurchse it.I understand that there is a long waiting list,i understand this fully.I am upset i suppose that i never had this happen to me befor,even on Gw1,i’m a vet and have been playing since they came out,so this is a great disapointment for me to say the least.
