Are you new to the forums? Never seen a “Stop the Free Transfers” thread?

From a Yak’s member, CD did not win this battle because of one person hacking, or three people hacking. As stated, all severs have hacking issues due to the actions of a few. No problem stating in the forums that it happened, but let’s not claim an entire server to be “hackers”. We all know this is not the case.

CD is winning due to server population and coverage. It’s been a fun fight this week. Gratz to CD. You deserve the win.

To fellow Yak members, it’s been nice to see us grow as a server and commanders taking charge effectively. When we play smart we do extremely well. I enjoy Wv3 with you guys! Keep up the fight and never say die.

It should be clear by now the rendering/culling problem is an issue with the game engine rather than the majority of PC’s running the game.

Could not agree with you more. Yet, Anet lets the issue continue.

No, they are not destroying WvW with free transfers they are destroying WvW by letting people who transfer during the middle of the week participate in WvW during that cycle instead of being locked out.

This, absolutely100% at this point in the game.

Free transfers have run their course imo, but if they continue to allow free transfers then they must have a lock out period. This will slow down the transfer rate the game is currently experincing. How can Anet provide quality WvWvW match-ups when the server populations are unstable?

With all WvWvW issues considered, the current transfer policy is the biggest detriment to the game experince they are trying to create.

Anet, you must implement a lock out period with free transfers to stabalize the server populations.

I feel the orbs should be removed from Wv3 until they can fix the fly hack and breaking of the alters.

But in the end, as with all PC games, the community must stay involved in reporting hackers. Hacking is nothing new and infects every multi-player game on the market. Removing yourself from the game results in honest players inability to report hackers as they are no longer involved.

I hate it as much as the next person, but am vigilant to report ayone I see that hacks the game and ruins the experince for the honest community.

The actions of one person does not speak for the entire server. Many guilds on our side have already stated that we hate that this is happening. We are actively looking for these hackers but in the end its still hard to do so without being there.

Agreed. This goes for every Wv3 server at this point in time. Yak’s has also been trying to find the one or two people who hack orbs as well. When we know this happens we give the orb back.

I do not blame any server or guild for the actions of the few.

Once again, this has been a fantastic match! Much respect to NS and SoR.

Hat’s off to Maguuma players. You guys organized better than EB or YB. I’m on Yak’s and spent some time in the match this past week.

We had some great fights with EB in the first couple of days. I would say (regardless of the score) the overall organization and player ability is actually pretty even between YB and EB.

Maguuma on the other hand just outplayed us. You did have a strong Wv3 playerbase during the entire match, good tactics and talented players. YB and EB participation trailed off pretty quickly after the first couple of days. Your victory has been earned regardless of all the hack-u-sations.

Well played and look forward to a re-match some day.

See that…no QQ’ing about night capping, or hacking, or we were outnumbered and it’s not fair. Yak’s lost and I hope we have learned from this. I wish people on our server would fortify positions just captured. Stop taking supplies from towers and garrisons. Learn that the mindless zerg of 30-40 people randomly roaming the map is not capable of winning a match. Please start communicating with one another. Start small groups that are solely for defending supply points and supply lines.

Communicate and learn peoples in game names. We have a lot of talented fighters. Yak’s has a lot of potential! Let’s take advantage of our potential!

What’re you talking about. Mag DID outnumber us completely. Yak at peak hours is capable of doing this even when they had all 3 orbs. (See picture). But once everyone needs to head bed, blue completely dominates everything. I’m not saying it wasn’t fair, just that Yaks could have had maybe double the score if only we had a early morning crew.

I don’t think I said they did not have larger numbers. Sorry if I was not clear enough when I stated they “did have a strong player base”. And with that we were outplayed.

I have seen us gain alot of territory on Yak’s. We do have our moments. And as you stated, YB’s palyer base must be about 90% 8am-5pm workers! I sure am one of them. Pretty f’ing sleep deprived tryng to do what I can when I’m on.

But we still have plenty of room for improvement Sausage, that’s all I was sayin’.

I agree with the OP as well. The only issue with the orbs is the fly hacking and breaking the altars. That needs to be addressed.

Otherwise leave things as they are. When our server has lost it’s because we were outplayed. The older generations understand losing. Not everyone in life is a winner regardless of what the current public education and culture is attempting to tell you.

When your favorite football/baseball team is winning, should a one of your players be removed from the game to make it fair to the losing team? Of course not!

I get pretty tired of the “make things fair when were losing” threads.

I’m interested too Kylia. I’m very close to this build but believe I’m still overly specced in Domination. Was trying to throw in Bezerker and do like Confusing Enchantments from that line.

7 days quarantine from WvW when you transfer. Thats whats missing.

Absolutely this. Even if transfers are not free, you should not be allowed to play in the current or next Wv3 match after a server transfer. End of story.

I wish people would stop blaming individual servers for hacking/exploiting. It’s not fair to blame an entire server when it’s the actions of certain individuals. Anet is aware of this and are working towards removing those people. All we need to do is keep reporting them until they put an end to the hacking.

let’s not forget how easy it is for people to jump servers every 24 hours. When someone is tired of hacking/exploiting on 1 server they can just jump to the next one and so on. This does not mean that server is at fault and should not be blamed.

^This. Yak’s is not different than other servers with hacks. IMO Orbs should be removed until the hacking problem is resoved. All servers have them so let’s stop accusing one another for the actions of a few. Report them when you see them.

I am one of the prime time players due to a daytime job and life in general. But when I do get to log in Yak’s does very well and getting better all the time. An improved presence during off peak hours would improve our rankings. Que times are indeed non-existent or very short worst case.

I would like to say to the other Yak’s guild it’s been fun the last few days. Communication is improving and a couple of very good commanders are emerging. I would like to specifically point out Septix (not sure if I spelled your name correctly). He did an excellent job on Monday night pushing both Ebay and Maguuma back to their spawns on Yak’s borderlands. His communication through chat was concise and the rest of the server followed his lead.

I belong to Knights and Heroes [Beer] that unfortunately is a largely PvE guild, but we do have a few very strong Wv3 members.

Been great fights on the server the last few days!
