My ranger is now permanently retired from WvW you cannot dps properly with a 900 range shortbow which is my main weapon of choice and for many in WvW, you have just effectively nerfed the ranger for alote of people to the point of no use, I just absolutely fail to understand what is going through your heads.
Thought ide post something positive after harping on about technical issues in other threads coughlagcough, im actually really getting into this story, at first I didn’t really care either way and went along just for the rewards or cause other guild members were doing it etc etc, but as time went on and now that weve moved into the southsun area with the story extending out im finding myself more and more intrigued and getting pulled into it like you would a book, I say good work, looking forward to it all.
Hmmm I just got a post deleted for an infraction though im not sure it was that abusive, lets see if I can tone it down alittle, please fix the server lag not being able to play parts of the game on and off for so many months has made alote of people very angry, wvw again was unplayable for me… again…
Fix this lag already FIX IT… sick of it, this aint on my end everything else on my net is lightning fast, everything else I play is fine, I jump into wvw here and get skill lag and huge lag spikes still and even dc, seriously!..
i just noticed alittle bit of lag earlier today, then just now tried to do jormag, everyone was lagging out as was i, then get disconnect, log back in event over and miss out, again..
I thought this was fixed!, getting sick of it… you want to know the sound of an unhappy customer thats been ticked off afew to many times, they dont make any sound, cause theyve left..
even though i didnt see it he was apparently exhibiting other odd behavours as well like teleporting about the place, and yes there are very good rangers out there, my main or what was my main is a ranger so i understand what you are talking about with the ranger skills there, all true, but having not seen any of the more obvious “hacks” myself i cant say anymore, there was a point where people were following him trying to screenshot etc so they must of been seeing something quite odd.
Now im trying to be sneaky and word this so the thread doesnt get immediatly shutdown, for the last few days in this new round weve been seeing a lone ranger from riverside, a greatsword wielder, who has been doing some very strange things, seems to have swiftness and evasion all the time, conditions on him seem to vanish instantly amoung other things(cough) i think you know what im trying to say here, if you guys on riverside could perhaps find out who this person might be and try to maybe shame him into stopping or something along those lines it would be fantastic, it has been reported but that can take time and ide hate to see this person get away with what hes doing for an even longer period of time than he already has, i know you riversiders hate these issues as much as the rest of us and all servers have people who do these things, we all need to watch out for them and shame them into stopping. And to any mod who is reading this please dont delete threads like this, communication amoungst players on these issues can sometimes really help so long as its not offensive, thankyou.
Ive had to stop playing, had to tell my guildies sorry gw2 is now unplayable for me, the lag is the worst i have ever seen in any game ive ever played, just tried to do jorlag again and got disconnected 3 times and skill lag where the skills wernt even firing off anymore, didnt get the chest of course, this lag has been getting worse over the last 3 days or so for me and ive never experienced this before, all world events, even normal pve and im not even game enough to step into wvw now, you best fix this fast or you are going to tear your community apart.
Is this fun?, trying to do world boss events like Jorlag and having yourself lagout, watching as all your skills are blinking and not firing off is not fun, slowly dying cause your heals wont fire off is not fun, waiting for the event to start for a fairly decent amount of time and then putting up with that and getting dc then comming back to overflow IS NOT FUN!, this is not the first time its happened to me and its happening to others more and more specially at peak times, fix the map capacity or something, whatever… People are getting tired of it…
Im one of those people who absolutly hate gambling i try to avoid it at all costs in most things i consider my entertainment, now with these Black lion chests i am starting to feel alittle left out. I dont mind the fact so much in gw2 that these boxes dont contain game changing items like some other games i could mention (and have stopped playing) but i would like the chance to be able to obtain some of the things out of them from the gem store, im personally speaking about the skins, i dont want to have to gamble away my money on the off chance of getting something i want, im not a gambler i want to buy it outright from the store with my money, not kitten it slowly away up against your chests. If i ever did buy keys for the chests it would be from gold ive farmed and converted into gems, but in times when ive seen something ive really wanted or “needed” ive baught gems with real money.. Think about that.
I know it sounds abit QQ but the fact that ive run up against this money making scheme before kind of pulls my strings abit, and like i said i know theres no game altering drops from them but none the less, and yes i know Anet has to make their money somehow, but surely there are better ways than cheap shots like this.
Now that was fun few hours ago lots of action and some large battles (runs around waving arms in the air screaming while in plague form trying to pick up as many loot bags as possible) \:D/
Part of the reason we helped bb was to actually put the boot up your collective rs arses, and it worked its like throwing a rock at an angry wasps nest and now youre swarming and raging, its got the passion back into the fight and were loving it
We have fun sometimes teasing the germans but not in a truelly mean spirited fashion, so look past the diplomatic shenanigans and just bail head first into the fight and come back at us even harder than before!..

It did not effect your overall ranking, it did not effect the bracket ranking. Any particular reason for messing up a fun night full of enjoyable fights?
We did not care about the bracket placement, since it would not have made a difference anyways – but we really did enjoy the head to head race, till you decided to deliberately ruin it. (which actually is the reason ppl are so upset about it)
oh so i deliberatly ruined it, all my fault huh, whatever… Not everyone is going to like every tactic used in a battle, that is war, either real or no, this is a part of how it goes, as it stands i had little to do with it apart from being a foot soldier, but im not worming my way out of it or justifying myself, it just was what it was, if you want the specific reasons for the actions ask the commanders because i honestly cant remember.
teaming with another server is an acceptable tactic its part of the 3 server battle format, the idea being 2 smaller servers for example could double team a more powerful opponant, so you may find it “despicable” Mr Singer but its not illegal, and yes i was a part of it and didnt really enjoy it and probably wont do it again, but the idea behind the push wasnt just to go off in a huff and kitten the other guy off, there were tactical level headed decisions made.
But dancing with Baruch together in our Keeps, on our Corpses, escorting Baruch Dollys and waving together at us after you wiped us is a little bit disappointing………
Yeah thats not very nice, i didnt personally see that but i think what happened was people just got caught up in the moment and forgot themselves, on the whole were a very friendly community, but cause we are only human sometimes these things happen.
Just to make it clear, we didnt lose on purpose, we were at the point where it was impossible for us to achieve any other placing so it was decided at the last hour to lend a supporting hand to bb and unfortunatly these things will happen when youre playing the points game and trying to better your standings in the wvw environment, the 2v1 server tactic is a viable and known tactic. Now even though we didnt go so far and was litterly a final hour support push not all of us were happy with it including myself it did feel wrong and i was abit uhhappy that rs didnt ge their first place but unfortunatly thats the way these things roll in a pvp world contest, im sorry you didnt get your 1st place but this will not be the first or last time we will see this happen throughout the wvw tiers
Ive seen a case of this in eb one of our opposing teams keeps was full of useless rams in long rows, theyve had this problem for alittle while now, so when we retook it we had to destroy it all.. Its annoying and childish and is not in the spirit of wvw, i dont hate the people who do this, i pity them.

Well… ide heard that guard was nerfed so you couldnt run your pet to the top of a wall in wvw if you are sieging, mmm okay that was a giant nerf and thanks for that we needed it i think were to op(smell the sarcasm), what i didnt realise was it also works the other way around to, sometimes i like to stand say for example on the wall at hills south gate and place a pet at the stairs below as sentry, if something comes along i’ll sick em on the target, well, again, thanks for screwing that up, cant even do that now, why dont you just take all our pets and give us plush toys to drag along on a kittening string and nerf bats and toy bows with suction cup arrows to shoot next…
Last straw for me today, in wvw full tough melee build with spirits, spirits are complete kitten, die in afew hits, resummon every minute, have to wait for cooldowns on their death, kitten buff % chances, whats the point?, summon die summon die summon die.. in the meantime i got a thief hammering at me probably laughing his kittening head off and toying with me, and yeah ive tried trap builds slightly better, but same outcome, ranger dead. The other viable option ive found and play the most is glass cannon crowd control with lb/sb piercing arrows, but even with tough/vit gear as a glass cannon you obviously aint gonna last to long if someone wants to target you, ive tried almost every build i can find within reason, different gear, all the weapons…. Im giving up on this class, its potential is gimped, thanks for making me wait all these kittening months expecting a great revamp from the balance team, thanks alote…
I cant help but feel ive wasted so much time on my ranger, whats worse is people know me and wave and say hi in wvw, i dont want to play another character i want to play my ranger i want to keep my chracters name, i worked hard for the wvw set trying to kill people with this nerfed class for badges, but i cant stop shaking my head and wondering, do i really want to continue with this class, and can i be bothered spending so much time on another character to build it upto where i got my ranger.
Yeah getting slowed cause your pet wanders to far from you when running through mobs is another little suprise.
Dont get me wrong i love the ranger, some people have said they are nerfed or etc etc, i still think the class is fine, just the pets need alittle bit more training me thinks.
Please can you give us the ability to stow our pets and keep them stowed!!, when i put my pet away its for a good reason and to have the kitten thing pop back out everytime i get hit is beyond annoying and outright dangerous, i just got killed because of it hence this post, im tired of it..
Ive played other pet classes before and ive never seen a stowed pet pop back at its own will before..
My character was idle while i was busy typing away with my guildies in guild chat, i was taking a bit of a break from exploring and just relaxing for awhile when Pop! ive been disconnected for being idle, even though i was in the middle of a conversation, can you make it so even if you havnt moved your character for awhile but are still active in chat you wont get dumped out of the game please.
