I only play pvp pve is boring to me

necro/engi are pretty tanky right now with good sustain.

Its unranked……..So there is obviously more casual players who arent MLG pro at pvp. just enjoy the game m8

Balance is good atm. people need to learn to adapt.

Runescape has more views then gw2 on a consistent basis lmao gw2 is just boring to watch.

Also, I just downloaded BnS yesterday and the combat is more enjoyable imo. I still got love for gw2 though.

GW2 pvp is def not dead lol I only play pvp in this game and this is the best balance patch theyve had so far.

1st of all you cant just hop in gw2 pvp expecting to be a god. It takes practice just like any game you would play.

Also, ranked is not open at the moment so everyone is in the same queue. Once ranked league returns the most serious and experienced players will played ranked, and the casual players with play unranked.

It probably took me about 30-50 games until I was actually decent and understood the gameplay.

The game is balanced…

Maybe I’ll run into you and 1 shot you with mesmer’s super 1337 shatter damage. It’ll be hilarious until the next round a nerfs come and shatter damage gets cut in half.

I did fine before the patch honestly. In my opinion the bunker meta was boring because who wants to just fight on a point for about 3 minutes straight with nobody dying? thats not very fun to me.

Who wants to die in 1-3 seconds every fight? That’s not very fun to me.
Who wants fights to be decided almost entirely based off of the classes & builds played, rather than the skill of the player? That’s not very fun to me.
Who wants to feel like they can’t contribute with the class they most enjoy playing, and have been playing since they’ve started this game? That’s not very fun to me.
Who wants to have their unique class abilities gutted into oblivion 1 by 1 until what remains are a few scraps left? That’s not very fun to me.

1. No fights last 1-3 seconds…..
2. Before patch almost every class had to be bunker to win.
3. Have you tried playing thief against bunker builds?
4. I dont think any classes have been “gutted”, I would say all are viable. you just have to adapt and learn new strats…

You’ve been here since a year… you know barely nothing of what this game went through and how bad it is since… exactly a year.

COntinuously for three years, I’ve been here and adapted to every meta regardless of what went through
But this is a joke to everyone. A quaterly balance patch with no more than what we had bi-monthly before.
I’m already off the game, on B&S, which is quite enjoyable.

Anet,s balance is a joke to everyone. Gut classes and elevates other until they make a full circle, rinse and repeat.
This is not balance.

Id rather not have a bunker meta that was not very fun. The finals were boring to watch because its just fighting on 1 point for 3 mins straight lol This game needs to be fast paced and more exciting to succeed in esports and all that.

Or even better. Use the staff and D/p!!!

staff 5 is almost the same range as shortbow 5 but staff deals way more dmg. Only downside is there is no ranged

Im just saying everytime I come on pvp forums to look for like tips or maybe cool pvp vids? All I see is people complaing about a class.

Learn how to counter classes, and how to play your class better. I think pvp is pretty balanced atm if you are using the new elites. Some classes could use a couple buffs maybe but I dont think any classes need nerfed.

Please stop coming to the pvp forum and QQing because you die to certain classes.

Yes, I do pvp 90% of the time. Only on the forums do people QQ all day everyday. It really isnt that bad. I have more fun doing pvp then pve in gw2.

im just used to holding down right click when im in combat to control the camera, but I cant dodge when holding it down now. messes up my gameplay in pvp lol
