Ive noticed the warmup is just as significant as the game itself, no reward no ranking pointless, might as well just make pvp one massive warmup
This exploit actually worked for me, my ele is strong now, hope I dont get banned.
Problem with the ele is that arenanet have designed it so your ment to switch between builds which of course is horrible design, so theres really no such thing as a fire or air elementalists, none of the traits are complimentary, none! I want this to improve that and that to increase that and compliment that and actually build my traits.
Put it like this after all is said and done if there was an option to join games with downed state and without the without games would be far more populated, and you know thats a fact, it could be trial runed if they wanted but knowing it would be preferable why waste time just remove downed state from pvp.
Its a mess.
In pvp everything has to be clear and precise and its not at all instead vague and messy and chaotic.
We really need a decent, measurable, critically important reason to become more powerful.

The world doesnt feel like a real world without world pvp and level capping and instance portals everywhere, feels more like an arcade game.
The framework of gw2 is great so cant help but think if they handnt tried to be so clever and just implemented what was good about all other mmos into gw2 it would be great.
Arenanet need to hire a psychologist to help with development.

There is literally zero pvp reward for me, I couldnt careless about skins I might as well just destroy all rewards they only junk up bags.
It needs somthing maybe some sort of unlocking of new pvp content as you progress.
Theres somthing very boring about the rotation of the sPVP maps, along with downed states and nothing to fight for.
I play a thief and totaly agree, get rid of downed state all together or if not at least remove the stun, pushback, teleport, interrupt abilitys.
I agree.
It also ruins those moments where you can defeat two or three players at once this is now almost always ruined by the downed state as you will still die or have to retreat as of course you are on low health, and so if someone pulls of some superb play its gets neutralised by the down state.
And yes it is bad enough to ultimately drop the game for another along with the fact theres nothing to fight for in gw.
I agree, I find myself just ignoring downed players and letting others finish them off because its too gimmicky clicking around on the floor and waiting for it to finish them its more effective to just carry on and ignore them.
No character essentially gets any better, you more or less have all your abilitys within about the first 10 hours of play, with level capping per area in place also it will always feel the same.
People have started noticing this at about level 40-50 that they are not actually progressing, this is apparently how the game is designed, I cant say im fan of that aspect character progression is the primary point for me in any mmo.
