I would say anet need to act fast and scrap all borderland maps including ebg.

Make it 4 way realm battles not 3. Make 4x 1realm vs 1realm maps each 4 maps all different
with exact objectives to complete for a victory that reset after a victory.
every 24 hours realms rotate clockwise round the maps so they have different maps and
different realms to fight. Have a central 4 v 4 map similar to ebg in the middle with no
objective.

somthing like this would of been fresh and fun for the price tag of the expansion, but what we got
is bizarre, its pve or Mario Bros or somthing..

Remember Alterac Valley in Vanilla wow? http://www.capsulecomputers.com.au/wp-content/uploads/World-Of-Warcraft-Alterac-Valley-03.jpg somthing similar to that map size and layout with a definite finish objective for each world server each round would have been fun.

At least somthing totaly diffrent for such as expensive expansion.

wvw has been getting worse almost every update, its quite an accomplishment. Battlegrounds layouts need to be simple and instead they do the opposite and give complexity.

Take football as an example you dont need to have complexitys to have good games, if you start throwing in obstacles and 101 objectives you will ruin the game.

What developers dont get about pvp is that they dont need to create the content the players do that, it is NOT pve.

So, who else requested a refund for HoT?

I am pretty sure I have only played WvW since release, but this guy probably knows better than me.

Devs of all games never learn from their own playerbase but instead always attempt to direct and impose a playstyle onto them rather than observe what their users are doing and then enhancing that.

Specialisations just means restrictions, so now you have to go fully into any tree and not partially vastly restricting the amount of builds you can experiment with, not to mention the interface is horrible.

Why are you asking players for individual details? This is obviously on anets end, stop offsetting the cause.

For one the lag got exceptionally bad directly after the major patch so look there.

Not sure why you need such specific information its clearly server wide the whole wvw server says the same.

Are your servers working at maximum capacity? Try to refine the code so its not so intensive on the servers.

The only content I have ever played is WvW and going off the artwork and description of wvw “Navigate treacherous heights with traps that blow your foes to the depths” its not looking good at all.

What game developers never seem to get about pvp is that they are not creating the content which brings players back again and again, the players create the content as every interaction is unique. Whoever designed the football pitch did not layout how every game would be played.

Keep it simple and encourage fights and strategy dont make a maze like eotm.

blob fighting is quite unique to gw2 so dont discourage it encourage it.

Im happy with 24/7 blobs but you need that on both sides.

Yeah thats exactly what I ment. I would recommend simplified symbols, if theres too many diffrent types it just turns into a mishmash of symbols that equaly have no meaning.

Color should be the primary distinguisher between ranks so its clear to see at a glance.

Theres no way to visualise the general ranks of players in your wvw zerg making the ranking system not too useful especially once all rank ability’s are maxed out.

A simple star icon small and subtle just at the end of a players name would allow you to quickly visualise and grasp the general experience of your zerg.

So say every 200 ranks you get a star, first 3 stars are green upto rank 600 then you get 1 yellow stars until you reach 3 at 1200 then 1 red star and so on.

I enjoy the zerg v zerg playstyle is somewhat unique so I would not want to lower player limit on a map too much but I do think lower the player limit by just a small amount simpl for lag issues try lowering it by about 10 players per side so 30 less in total on map might be just enough to stop the lag.

This weeks match ups are a joke...

Even a rank 3 server cannot compete with a rank 1 or 2 let alone the other matchups.

I cant really see any new builds either.

Rampage could be used but as a defensive measure, it really needs new ability’s, been testing it and I do smaller total damage in rampage than with normal weapons, think its because most the time its single target damage.

The new GS burst skill was a nice change that was needed.

Problem with rampage is not CC, its just the elite itself and its ability’s are not very good.

Remember when you use it you lose your second bar so whatever you are getting needs to be better than 2x weapon bars as well as your secondary bar and its not.

I do less dps in rampage than I can do with standard weapons, and I dont provide any utility to team mates.

Reduce the cooldown to about 130secs and rework the ability’s, remove kick and bolder but improve dash so it knocks foes down in its path and reduce cd on Seismic Leap to about 10secs. Could also have an aura that generates 1 might per second to team mates within 360 yards

Theres so many things you can do with Bitcoin in mmo’s. Each user account could have a linked wallet. Users could trade directly between themselves in bitcoin, opening up opportunity to actually create real paid jobs in game jobs or tasks. Content could be made with bitcoin as a reward, the first guild to drop a boss or whatever, or you could even dash small amounts of bitcoins about as the occasional lucky drop from a mob.

You could open up an ingame casino, betting on things that happen within the GW2 world.

Bottom line is it doesn’t matter what company decides to implement it or not eventually it will be implemented with games and its going to be very popular.

But regardless doing any of the above simply accepting bitcoin as payment method is a no brainer for any retailer, theres no cost or risk and you have a greater audience so why not.

I now have many weapons and armor sets that are not needed but were bought with badges and karma and so cannot be salvaged.

The only way is to use the extractor from the shop but its totally unviable as it stands at 300 gems for one extract it far cheaper to just rebuy the sigils rather than extract them. I would suggest making it 150gems and that each one has 6 charges to be used. So with each purchase you can extract sigils from one set of armor.

Or just allow the salvaging of karma and badge sets but only with a chance of receiving the sigil and nothing else.

For a grandsmaster trait, this is just BAD!

Its not bad, it just doesn’t incentivized hammer and greatsword .

Yes but the reason its bad is because it doesn incentivise duel wield either.

Been using this this builds since they improved shouts heal ages back.

The weakness is stability, a zerker, hammer/gs charge+ hundred blades, with improved stun duration would likely beat it.

dont know exactly what the build in the video is but mine is 0/0/25/30/15

You need to give up that 5 points for the faster weapon swapping, more adrenaline, quicker access to horn to convert conditions, shouts give adrenaline also.

One of the main reasons for horn is protection when converting invulnerability.

If healing signet is wildly overpowered like you say then that would mean warriors are wildly overpowered when using it, which is not the case. I run rings round warriors with my mesmer they barley pose a threat.

a viable condition build would be nice. The staff simply does not put out no where near enough dmg if you go full power or condition it makes no diffrence.

The autoattack should apply both the burn and the bleed rather than just one. Make staff 3 some sort of non targetable aoe dmg to help mesmers in zergs.

There is no zerg build mesmers are the worst class for zergs because they require targeting and are primarily single target attacks. The most effective class’s for zergs can do mass aoe dmg without targeting like war guards necros eles.

You could try a confusion/blind build on your glamor skills but the cds are too long to feel useful enough, other than that all you can really do is bring utility such as a veil here and portal there.

I noticed the staff only has one bounce, I cant work out why they would nerf the staff when it needed a buff. If you go full con dmg it still doesnt do enough dmg you could free reign on a guard with the staff and wouldn’t be able to kill him if he just stood still.

Would be nice if they finally ironed out some serious bugs like illusory leap any little bump in the ground and it fails.

Mesmer needs some aoe dmg independant of targeting that can help it in zergs.

Run more or less exactly the same build.

But like all builds with mesmers theres a fatal flaw and that condition dmg, the torch can help a little but when you get these 5k burns in a few secs and 6k torments and 16k bleeds your screwed theres literally nothing you can do. You can use arcane thievery as you already have reduced cd from it in this build but its poor still it seems buggy as hell only works 30% of the time.

I run used to run this build with protection runes you can have near perma protection with it.

Iron out buggy skills like Illusionary Leap so the gameplay feels better.

Illusionary Leap for example has about a 50% chance of not working because of ground tracking, if its too hard to program the ground tracking just make it an actual leap.

With regards to pvp just make some bold changes to traits and abilitys so theres somthing new to actually experiment with.

Oh and remove player locations from the mini map in spvp, theres no reason to have that information and its encouraging zergs in spvp.

I think most of the processing would come from marks on the ground, there could be about 50-60 + marks on the floor with about 40 players standing on them that all interact with each other adjusting variables, applying boons removing boons effecting each players skills and movement as they spam those skills. I would imagine its alot of calculations.

Whatever the skill lag is its obviously a server side issue on anets part even though they pass it off as network routing for your personal isp. I guess every anet customer is the problem and not anet.

They would quite easily know if there memory and cpu capacity is maxed out on their servers.

Its not a network issue its a processing issue. Like someone else said the amount of variables that need processing is immense they need to increase cpu and memory on their servers or dumb down the way variables are processed in the game.

If they cant afford it then they might as well just reduce capacity and increase ques because currently its unplayable and it will lose customers to anet.

Just put some nice items on that people can customise that make them completely unique but only purchasable. Then use that money to upgrade your server processing to end skill lag.

If they insist on keeping it then it should also work in reverse, meaning those who are not in a group will only share buffs and condition removal with others who are not in a group.

This is a must or its simply uneven for a pug, why should that pug share their benefits with you if nothing is given back in exchange.

So the UK has to pay more for gems than the US. Why cant price just be equal using usd to gbp exchange rates.

This just encourages people to use third party’s where price is equal.

Or accept bitcoins so price is even globally.

If they switched the bloodlust and outnumbered stats around it would at least make more sense giving the outnumbered better stats to fight with.

Not many people want unbalanced fights.

On a side note I like wvw zerg fights but they come round too infrequently, every 10 or 15 minutes you might get one fight. The rest of the time your just running a marathon. Small maps would result in more frequent encounters.
