Agreed, but I know that we’d be tempted to run the same fracs over and over until we get sick of it. But man, I wish there were a way to roll shaman every time. I need some big practice there. Oh, and mai.

You know what? I have no idea how to get out of this mess. I can totally understand devs having trouble with higher levels (no, there was still no need for a reset and deleting levels, go to hell). How do you make things interesting, spicing them up, making sure at the same time the rewards are fair and people don’t cheese the hell out of it, boring themselves after 2 weeks?

P.S. I still think reworking the loot table [of 50] a little isn’t rocket science. That we could do.

I doubt it will come out soon, if ever. I think they’ll do it only and only if they have the time and the resources to do so (chaining Josh to a chair in a basement or something). Not a “when”, more like a “if”, with a chance to happen. I have a minuscule hope we’ll see it by the end of the year, maybe like a 2week apparition or something. I hope. Sigh. I’ll be content with world 1 and 2 and no new worls, just give it back to me. Plz.

Man, some phiws crying over a poor dead horse beaten bloody into a pulp doesn’t make the horse a problem. It just makes it extremely tedious to read the same absurd arguments over and over again. Being vocal and shouting does get attention, but it doesn’t mean you’re right… I sadly happen to have such a person sitting on my nuts almost 24/7, so forgive me if I’m honestly sick of it.
Raise the volume all you want, there will always be an optimal gear and build, and you kitten bet it’ll be enforced. Even if it’s only 5% stronger.
I feel like anet caved in quite enough times to such ramblings.

P.S. Yeah, it means that if you introduced a boss that has unavoidable attacks, is nearly invulnerable to everything, uses heavy conditions with unreflectable projectiles, and the ONLY way to win the fight were to just survive for, say, 10 minutes, then nomad would be the optimal stats for nearly each class. I’d still kick you if you tried to join on carrion, because it’s not good for that fight. And say you make a boss with many different phases, in which you have to switch gear inbetween fights? Same stuff. /kick if you suck. Keep screamin’, maybe they’ll actually develop the boss I told you about and tanks are gonna feel useful, poor little things.
Because this was supposed to be a tank/healer game, but anet doesn’t know.

So going into Guild Wars 2 it obviously lacked a greater amount of customisation than its previous iteration I’m wondering if Anet will be doing anything to bring a more wide variety of abilities, especially for the first half of your bar.
Being limited to a certain weapons and skills associated with said weapon is all right but it took away a lot of choice. I personally loved to play as a Ranger / Assassin tank with Beastmastery as a focus using only 3 of my skills dedicated to my weapon. – Has any stream or anything similar mentioned anything remotely similar to anything which will resolve this pet peeve of mine?

Personally, I used to find the lack of customisation nearly unbearable, after leaving gw1. It cut 70% of what I liked about the game. Now I got used to it, but as I quickly approach the final burndown (tada-ta-da…), I’m growing increasingly disgusted with the limited amount of skills and the cookie-cutter, banal, uninsteresting weapon skills. Autoattack is sooo sooo fun…

On related news, Revenant will have energy as a resource and I strongly believe it’s a good candidate for having the gw1 vibe attached to it. I’m very eager to play that profession. It’ll be exciting to rethink about Mallyx, Glint and the likes, while having this “dervish élite” feeling.
Hopefully it’ll be more inspired than ranger or warrior… /gags

Honestly, I’ve always been negative so for me this is normal and I don’t really count… I’m a pessimist and I hate positivity or anything related to it. Still, there are 2 things that annoy me more: 1 —-
I’m wasting time. I’m not the dev here, and if they decided not to make any content that I really enjoy, it must be good for their revenue and I have no way to question that. I’m kinda burned down anyway… at least we’re getting a new profession.

Making fractals harder and increasing a lot the rewards wouldn’t make it a ragequit fest, probably the opposite… unless the difficulty of the highest levels were too high for pugs.

Goood, this again? I feel like I’m back to 2013. Shrugging off the “rangers make your party automatically fail and the instance collapse on itself”…. don’t camp longbow. Just don’t. Seriously. It’s lame.
The thing is… pugs are so bad and unorganised already, you either compromise or step up your game, because you’ll recieve no support from your party. My favourite compromises would be to slot lightning reflexes, disable aa, equip dagger, equip greatsword, in this order. Keep in mind that giving up on warhorn (in a party with no fury) is a blow to overall damage, unless a random shoutheal warrior has fgj slotted. You could slap a moa in there, I guess.
Oh, you can interrupt sword aa with horn 4 and 5, by the way. Just get the timing down.
I see lb in pugs being useful only against bosses that you find really hard to melee. If I were you, I’d try to keep practicing melee, but I understand that for us not-uber-pro it can be a long and/or annoying process.
P.S. Don’t you dare camp longbow at shaman… they’re gonna need your axe.

What? There’s already a couple of fractals included in the “daily dungeon tour”, at least where I am now. What is that supposed to mean? Sure, you can do those for the pure pleasure of it, but it’s not like upping the rewards magically makes 50-60-whatever easier and now EVERYONE can farm fractals like cursed shore.

I don’t really like mind getting reseted but what I mind is

• Getting reseted without any real reason
• Not a single word from a developer explaining the situation
• Getting a worse system in return

There were words from the developers! they talked about errors in wording and that they’ll “think about it then get back at us”. And that fractal boxes were never meant to be in the game at this stage.
How can you even say there was no communication. They communicated alright!

Additional skills/attacks/phases à la lupi on faptal bosses. Not dumb attacks like “everyone gets pummeled by 20k unblockable/unreflectable/homing projectiles because we hate zerkers” if possible, even though I know anet started loving those. I enjoyed some of the new skills on mordrem foes. Not anti-melee, but you can’t fall asleep while fighting them.
Like, why are archie the diviner’s phases (the ones with the chanters) all the same?
Changes in the environment would be nice too. Small things like more traps on the floor, perhaps. I have a harder time with traps than with anything else so I shot myself in the foot there <.< I’m an idiot.

I’d like to see less I-hate-you-zergburgers gambits and more choices, as in: selectable gambits with scaling difficulty and maybe, toh, rewards.. I know, I know.
(God, all of this was already said A HUNDRED TIMES in 200 different threads, there’s nothing original…. how long ’til the message penetrates?)

I wouldn’t want to see more boring hp/damage increase unless necessary… but whatevs, that is obvious.

You can drop uninfused rings at 40 and 50, and rings at ALL at 50, with like a 40% chance.
I don’t care if you think rewards are good and balanced: this is just unacceptable. I will not take anything they do seriously until they fix this.
