With such a high demand ori now more than ever we need to be able to farm this stuff on our own without the need for the TP. Currently i think the amount of nodes present needs to increase so that ppl who do not actualy have a butload of cash can actually compete in this market a little. I honestly do not want to have to spend tons of gold just to get my ascended item because exotic discoveries are the only way to hit 500

Was kind of clearly that you are gonna need some mats when they mentioned the new 500 cap. Just because your were lazy and did not collect some of them and now you have to pay doesn`t make it necessary to have more nodes. They are fine the way they are.

Since August 27 patch , my FPS went down like a stone too. Before I was having around 40-50 in LA now barely reaching 20-25.

Well managed to finish it this night. We failed at first try and instead bursting it to dead we died instead. I jumped in the middle and run in circles taking the most of spiders and doin` a moderate dmg , while the rest of my party stood out at the passage and ranging it from there. Ofc they got some spiders too, but was a reasonable number and after killing them they were able to fire the tree again. Was like 15 minutes or so , but worked. Used my guard to run in circles with soldier runes and and shouts for speed and immo remove and when Oh S**t moment came in Renewed Focus saved me. Probably not the best way and can`t compare with bursting way in the very first seconds, but hey, it worked.

Seems so. Tried to buy from Frostgorge, Metrica and Queensdale. Got the items but not the achievement.

I did some timings tonight.

Loading character into DR (bank/tp waypoint area) from selection screen after start up. – 68 seconds, however I noticed there was no culling or popup rendering of player characters and NPCs all were fully rendered, and quite the crowd. Most other travel cases had culling upon arrival along with various sounds being delayed.

Asura Gate from DR to LA – 33 seconds
LA to DR – 34s

LA to Hoelbrek – 25s
WP travel across Hoelbrek – 17s
Hoelbrek to Wayfarer Twinspur Haven WP – 22s

DR to Queensdale using zone gate – 13s

Now most of these times I don’t consider bad. It didn’t “feel” slower or much slower at least.

I have 1TB 7200RPM drive that benchmarks at 100MB/s on average hooked to SATA II controller, 3Mb/s max. Drive is less than 25% full. It’s also the system drive. I have 8GB of system memory.

It depends on everyone’s configuration.

For me 2-5 seconds is normal, 5-10 acceptable and over 10 seconds is boo. And after last patch , most of the loading times are over 10 seconds.

New update , new problems. Unfortunately nothing good like usually.
Double (that’s the nice way to say it) loading times here too.
Before 2-3-4 seconds , now goin to 10 and even more sometimes. And not talking about LA or other crowded cities.

After messing around a lil bit more with this chain of events, it seems that when I touch something related to portals or guards I’m gonna get game client crashed. The other events related to the chain are not a problem (grawls attacking or escorting the scholar).

Was happening yesterday for me too at the end of the fight. I just waited to have boss dead , cc screen and coming back. But happening in the beginning can be pretty annoying.

Recently game keeps crashing at The Frozen Maw event. Usually happens in that small window between destroying the portals and Maw becoming attackable. Also it happens both on my desktop and my girl friend’s laptop. Did any of you experience same crashes lately?

This. You bought a game. You have the right to play it the way you want. And where you want. If others are not happy, their problem not yours.

Just ignore them.

They should have done UI like in Gw1. In Gw2 it’s a big fail. You can move a couple of things up and down but thats all. I want to change skill bar position. I want to change party position from left to right. I want to get rid off of story quest because they have to pay me to do it again. I want to get rid off of events messages. Some ppl are doin’ them some ppl don’t. I am one of those who want to take xp bar down. Probably not all want that but atleast give me the option to do it. And can be more examples.

I hope in the next 7 years they are gonna solve it. Or not.

So much whining and so many tears from both sides … At the beginning were fun , now are just pity. It’s war, there are 3 servers. So being oportunistic can say it’s one of the main rules. Doesn`t matter if GH or RoS. Today RoS tomorrow GH, someone will always take advantage. Instead having fun it’s more interesting to troll eachother. With class sometimes.
I’m a RoS player and I don’t really give a ***p about this hate between RoS and GH.
And as someone was saying ahead, this is just giving MS a free and easy win without any effort.

Dear ANet, please let us get rid off of those pop-ups from the right of the screen.
I did once story mode, you have to pay me to do it second time. But on every character I have, that stupid info is there just eating my screen. Same thing about big events like flame and frost and other that were in the past. Some ppl will participate some not. I`m one of those that will not. And again that stupid pop-up is there even I don`t care about event. Same with daily and monthly achiev. If I wanna do them, I’ll do them because I want, not because you are forcing me with stupid pop-ups. You have a perfect UI on Guild Wars 1. Guild Wars 2 fail. Hard time.
I know you are trying to move the herd to some directions you want, but not all of us want that.

Oh well, as a ros player since the beginning, step by step I`m getting sick of these new things here. And at some point I hope fow will accept me and one more friend. Better down and nice than up and .. .

It’s a war out there my friend. Eb puzzle was designed that way. But you are expecting free pass and pancakes. That’s just wrong. Whole PvE area is filled with free jumping puzzles. Do them.

Oh well, as a ros member since the beginning, I was very happy the way things were goin’ lately. And main reason of staying here was a medium population, kind of nice ppl and fun wvw. Now with all these moves and new recruitments, fun is close to fly away.

From all servers around , why have you chosen exactly ros?

Lol folks, check your local.dat file in your documents>GW2 folder …. If its bigger than 15mb, that’s your culprit. Exit game, delete it and let the game reload it.

Changing sound quality to the center setting from the best quality setting fixed this for me.

I’d like to get my sound quality back, though.

Just did this too hopping I`ll be able to play wvw. For now, everytime when more than 20 ppl around and starting the fight, it’s just a matter of time till I have to restart coz of annoying bug.

I have same problem, always happening to me in wvw. And only thing to do is to restart the game. Which is pretty boo when talking about wvw.
