I’m not really creative, so I took my ideas for the elementalist skill list for gw1 while changing them to suit gw2.

considering there doesn’t seem to be a way to get quartz once the bazaar leaves i consider pretty good
well as far as i know once the bazaar leaves there isn’t a way to get quartz unless you get the node in you’re home instance so quartz won’t be all that common making the one day thing for charged quartz less of an issue
While I don’t WvW I do use staff and glyphs and I can say that
1. The boons for inscription and the GoEH stack on all attunments
2. Cooldown starts at the end of casting
3. Glyph of Elementals does not work with incription and cooldown does not start until the elemental dies
Personally I’m not a fan of Cloak and Swagger; I suggest the name Mugged
Wow, these are some great responses. I read a lot of mystery novels, so I’m suspicious of shady characters like Kasmeer. Although, if she isn’t likely to be the nemesis, as these posts have convinced me, are there any other people who seem likely to become the nemesis?
Forgive me if there is a thread on this already I didn’t find it. So I was thinking what if Lady Kasmeer is going to be the nemesis of the living story? So we know from the molten prisoners in the Black Citadel, that they were set up by a fast talking city woman. Since Kasmeer is a noble from Divinity’s Reach she should be plenty capable of convincing different groups to work together for their supposed benefit. Her appearance at Southsun could be to keep an eye on her next phase of her plan, or to throw us of her trail by looking like an innocent victim caught up in the vicious wildlife. Well that was my theory; sorry if it’s hard to follow. I’m not great at writing out my thoughts.
I haven’t done any testing, but the potion should only apply to bandits. If you check the wiki for outlaws it redirects you to bandits, so that probably means it only works on bandits.
My ele Fomhar Draoi in tier 2 culture armor. My next project is getting TA armor for my sylvari warrior
I would put scepter with earth, because it seems to be a condition weapon to me and would benefit from the condition damage in earth Otherwise this sounds like a great idea.
I would rather they add new skills to the current classifications. For the ele they could add a new arcane, signet, or glyph that could be stun breaker so people don’t have to take a cantrip.
So how about this for technobabble
“If I take infinite sum of the alternating geomagical sequence raised to Oola’s constant multiplied by number of veticies on an eight dimensional tesseract plus the number of days since Zaitan’s defeat that should increase my chances of finding risen in Orr.”
I’m not certain but I think I got mine around level 40 after the section of the story involving the sanguinary blade
It’s not that bad of a color combination, although I think he could use a third color just to break up the pattern a bit
Kit refinement
Elite supplies
Incendiary powder
p.s. eles also have a burning on crit trait
True, but having the krait as nieghbors would be a pain in the kitten
awesome build, I enjoy using D/F although I use use glyphs more than I use cantrips
lingering elements should only affect the five point minor traits in the other lines
While in the Wintersday dungeon
“Holy kitten why won’t these toy soldiers attack anyone else.” : (
I did this quest on my necro, and when I got to that part I switched to a rangered set and kited the mobs. I don’t know if guardians have that option, but that worked for me
Maybe you could try a staff mesmer if you like conditions. Also my enginer is my sevond fav after ele of course.
I’m a level 38 human engi and I was looking to see if there are any good builds out there using turrets and the rifle. I do mostly pve and occasionanly do wvw if that helps.
Hey if using the touchpad works for then I say keep doing it. I assume that you’ve remapped some of the keys to make using the touchpad easier.
For the background I vote for number 2, and I like the emblem that Death Reincarnated suggested
Try elementalist, it takes some time to get used to attunment switching and the various skills on each wepon. Even then with low armor and health be prepared to die more often
Personally I think scepter water 1 should be a projectile finisher, 2 should cause chill to keep people in its area, and 3 needs to heal more.
Scepter air is fine although 3 could also apply a one second daze
sounds like a great idea I would totally accept and an invite
conjures would be much better if they had either charges or a time limit, not both
I always thought conjures were meant to function similarly to enginer kits, letting us change range at the cost of a utility slot
