Why not just put the aegis icon on the other arm?
+1 for you dace.8019 that made me lol
I found the same area, although I didn’t screenshots. There also what looks like an asura/inquest camp in the lower left corner
Or they could be staves
I like these ideas very much Game Slayer, although the fire trait could use a higher ICD. The way you have it our 5 point minor trait is better than the necro’s 30 point gandmaster major trait, or the engi’s 10 point major trait. Other wise they all look like great ideas.
Those krait in the trailer seem to be wielding the new aether/nightmare weapons introduced in Twilight Assault.
New story about the Thorns

Looks like they fixed it already
nevermind both tool tips agree, must have been a one time bug. Although the duration for the net turret over charge is still 10 seconds wtf
Saw this when I checked out the turrets but there is a discrepancy with the tool tips for net turret. I’m not good at explaining but when you hover the cursor over the skill when it’s on your bar the tool tip says the fire rate is 10 seconds. However when you hover the cursor over the icon to select the skill it says the fire rate is 13 seconds.
To be fair how did you expect to dodge an instant cast shout to begin with. It’s not like sic’ em has any huge tells as it is now so you still probably wouldn’t anticipate it’s use very well.
How about if they make Swirling Winds a lightning field no other effects just the field. That shouldn’t too op right?
You are aware combo finisher leap is daze right?
I am aware of this. I just thought that since there are only three ways to create lightning fields it would be nice to have another way to make one
How about if they make Swirling Winds a lightning field no other effects just the field. That shouldn’t too op right?
Observed Ally: Joko, he was in the first game it’s valid. He’s an ancient lich with centuries of experience. He conquered Vabbi twice and brought the rest of Elona to it’s knees. Commands a vast undead/living army, and most importantly to me there is no known means to permanently kill him.
Guessed Ally: The Spirits of the Wild. Of all the deities the spirits seem to be the ones most likely to take part in current events. Plus the exact powers of the spirits are unknown so they could have an ace up their metaphorical sleeve we don’t know about.
Observed Enemy: Inquest. Money, power, intelligence, influence the inquest have it all. They got the brilliance of the asura focused on their studies without holdups of morality, and they pretty much have the arcane council in their pocket. Also while the game paints them pretty black, I would think that the Inquest are much more subtle and inhabit a vast grey area of scientific ethics
Guessed Enemy: Bubbles. There is next to no knowledge about this guy, other than he lives in the deepest parts of the Unending Ocean. I’m also uncertain about the naval prowess of the races. Do they have the ability to fight a being who controls/corrupts water at sea? That would be the biggest problem in fighting Bubbles all fights would be on his home turf.
Well this might be nitpicky, but in gw1 most non-physical and non-elemental damage didn’t have any weaknesses or advantages. So a necro dealing dark damage wouldn’t worry about creature resistences. I liked having damage types cause it gave a reason understand the mobs beyond just avoiding the pull or that one big attack
Why the Gwen hate, I didn’t play EotN so maybe that has something to do with it?
Would it really be that bad to have damage types? I mean it would bring a level of strategy to the game, and if you think about it why doesn’t a fire elemental take more damage when I throw ice/water at than when I hit it with fire.
Edit: I really like that frostbite trait Navzar sounds like it would be fun
Does this game even have elemental damage? I thought all direct damage was the same, if it is they should introduce damage types
A hydra would be make an awesome Subject Alpha, each head could be corrupted by a dragon
Well the skeletons we fought in gw1 were part of the undead orrians made from the cataclysm weren’t they? So I assume that by now they’ve all been killed or destroyed. I don’t think any undead besides ghosts form on their own right, and they only necromancer I can think of that would be strong enough to make an arm of skeletons would be Palawa Joko.
I’ll just direct you to this thread on the second page

It’s in the Grove at the bottom , if I tell you more then it ruins the fun of finding it
So I was looking through some of the removed beta skills and I found this old focus skill. The name refers to a gw1 skill but it was basically acts like the ice storm on glyph of storm, but it would be a great replacement for freezing gust
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Maelstrom
I think they should make that each weapon has its own pool of skills and that only the auto attack is prederemined by the weapon. So mesmer scepter would keep its auto but you could switch out the other two slots for other skills that you can only get with scepter.
I don’t get it what are we looking at?
What if the Elder Dragons are actually related to imps, like imps absorbed tons of magic over millenia and eventualy became the Elder Dragons? Shadow imps=Zaithan, Ice imps=Jormag, Fire imps=Primordus. No clues as to a connection for Kralkatorik, Bubbles, and Mordremoth. Also I’m not saying that imps are dragon minions, but that they can become dragons.
Wow this tread just went metaphyscial
I mean really. If she was an illusion cast by Anise’s mind. Jennah would exist inside the mesmer mind. And this character idea would’ve made his way out from the mind of her owner into the real world.
Don’t our ideas and imaginations exist inside our minds?
Is a character’s existence less valuable than a real person’s just because it doesn’t have an obvious physical manifestation?
Even though most characters make it out from their creator minds to paper and may reside on other minds as well. And even if they don’t make it into paper. They are part of the synapse and the chemical reactions on the brain of the creator and/or the reader.
See the thirteenth floorNow I ask. Even if she wasn’t made of flesh, bone and sinew.
Would that made her less existent?Aren’t we characters that have completely taken over our bodies? Don’t the schizophrenic people have their bodies taken by multiple characters? Is any of them less existent than the other? Don’t we change the our character as we grow up and become more mature?
I ask again. What is existence?
Congratulations good sir you have made me question my own existence.
While I have a male asura I would say go sylvari just for the awesome glow, but I think most non plant armors look better on humans than sylvari
Wow this tread just went metaphyscial
I prefer to keep the arcane skills instant cast. Once you use all your charges you have to go through an almost three second cast time. This seems like it’s just an elementalist version of mesmer mantras.
Well ranger shouts have never effected anyone but the pet even back in gw1 rangers shout only served to buff the pet.
There is a warhorn skill that has almost the same effect
What if they made conjurers work like theives initiave? So like auto attacks don’t use charges but the other skills use a variable amount of charges with stronger skills using more charges. To compensate for the change anet could significantly lower the cooldowns on the skills, but not remove so poeple don’t just spam the same skill. Also the auto attacks will need to be balanced for not using charges
Thanks for clearing that up Konig. I hadn’t done all the achievements yet, it just sounded like teq was the one who had left behind all the things we were looking for. Also I think the wording was open ended enough to not definitively Ziatan is alive or dead.
Halloween is obviously going to be about Scarlet trying take over the Lunatic Court XD

So with the update out I thought I’d ask, how does no one notice a giant undead dragon flying around almost all of Tyria. I mean seriously Sparkfly, Blazeridge, and Frostgorge you think someone would have see teq flying to and from those zones.
So it pretty much becomes elixir B and gives boons
no swirling winds is just find the way it is. It blocks all projectiles in a large area
Maybe they are? o.O
sarcasm by the way if you didn’t get it
I’d like to see air 4 become a lightning field for it’s duration. There are not enough of those in the game.
@Konig
What if the Spirits of the Wild did help Aesgir from being corrupted, but not to help him kill Jormag only to get the tooth? Once they had the tooth it could be used to test weapons that could eventually harm and kill Jormag. This way, even if the spirits could keep someone or some people from being corrupted, they wouldn’t need to. Also the spirits may have helped Aesgir so future generations or norn would be inspired to kill the dragons?
I didn’t mean to sound harsh. I’m not a lore expert and never post on the forums, but I do read the posts and never liked the Gods are Dragons theories. My apologies if I hurt your feelings.
I approve anything that makes more lightning fields. I mean come on only two skills in the whole game that make lightning fields is ridiculus
No, please no more Gods=Dragons theories
That’s the problem with flame shield, it’s so easy to apply with the right build. With only 20 points in fire a x/f signet build would be unbalanced if you buffed flame shield the wrong way. And that’s not counting leap finisher combos
Wrong ranger spirits now act like every other pet summoning skill and goes on cd when the summon dies
Just thought I’d mention this, but none of the eles speed traits stack with each other or swiftness. So the fastest they can move is still 33% faster
Not to hijack the thread but what if it gave 3s of protection when using a burst skill ( possible ICD)
How about if flamewall was replaced with the following skills?
Mark of Rodgort:
Place a mark on the ground that burns foes in the area. Destroy the mark to cast Rodgort’s Invocation
Rodgort’s Invocation:
Deal damage to foes and burn them
The idea is that the mark will be like a circular flamewall and then you can sacrifice the fire combo to deal greater damage to enemies. Maybe someone can do more work with the idea and polish it up.
Yeah I wouldn’t get you’re hopes up there’s not a lot of reason to got to Brisban in the first place, besides world completion, so I doubt it’ll ever get fixed
