Life Siphoning works fine in big group fights, not so much with roaming. And believe me, when I say it works fine, I mean I use it religiously and rarely get close to dead even with people attacking me.

Mag likes to say “zergbusting” when we know we are outnumbering a group and that it’s just not a fair fight for them. JQ likes to actual internalize that as a win and then post about it. T1 #1 #t1

I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure zergbusting originated as a term for the 10-15 mans that would run decent builds and bust the larger zergs.

Then someone on Mag made a mass recruit guild called Zerg Busters, got buttmad when we told him running at a zerg with 30+ people is not zerg busting, moved off and threatened to beat us all, then slowly trickled back to mag because they fell apart as soon as they moved.

Queen Jennah has simply discovered that shoes are overrated, and lives her life barefoot. Think of how much money she has saved the kingdom, not having to buy her shoes for every occasion! ;-)

Seriously though, there are at least a handful of us devs who practice a barefoot lifestyle. I’m sure some people will always think it’s “weird”, but at least around the studio, it’s become just another facet in a diverse workplace.

Also, it was mentioned in an interview they’re going to start merging them. First evidence of that would be Tequatl. We will see.

I don’t see where a new player just joining the story wouldn’t be interested in new developments as well. Maybe it’ll be out of order for them but it would be more intriguing. Also, I think keeping around players that already play is just as important if not more than catering to new players.

Last page was good. 10/10 would read again.

The Living Story is nice, but it has so far been completely disconnected from the lore and the main player story. Why is this? The game has been out for over a year and not a single thing about the main story has been advanced. All of our unanswered questions still linger.

While Scarlet, Kasmeer, Marjory, etc are interesting in their own right, they feel like distractions and though I play every single Living Story arc all the way through, I often wonder why. My character’s standing wasn’t advanced (in fact, the fact that I’m one of the high ranking members of the pact is completely ignored!). Nothing was learned about the Elder Dragons. I still don’t know why Queen Jenna has no shoes.

I did not play GW1, so I had to go through a very quick crash course of the Lore as I started playing in Beta and I fell in love with it. I love the Gods. I love the White Mantle. I love the Mursaat. I want to know about what Scarlet has found about the Internal Alchemy, but I also want it to tie up loose ends in the story or raise new questions about the original lore.

With this new update about the krait coming up, I’m really holding out hope for some relation to the deep sea dragon or Mursaat but my hope is wearing thin. With no expansion on the horizon, I’m beginning to wonder if we ever will see what is beyond Tyria.

I really have no idea what you’re talking about? We raid until about 1 AM EST every night, and then we sleep. Regardless of if we’ve been winning or losing. We wiped repeatedly last night and still played until 1 AM.

Good fights all around on SoSBL tonight, nothing like an awesome 3-way open fight down south, was weird too…not as much lag as it was when we were with our t1 counterparts. Shout out specifically to PYRO, I really dunno which one of us from JQ peed in your cereal this morning you guys just kept coming and coming everytime, but you gave me more bags than I could ever pick up. Good stuff guys.

If it was a skilled group it wouldn’t need to run 30-35 people deep.

Conversely, a skilled group of 30-35 can handle a full q blob.

For some reason it hadn’t gotten through my head that other servers with stronger Oceanic presence would suppress SoS’s Oceanic, which was their only way to gain points on us normally.

We might not get last place in this. Mixed feelings.

Even if they did change the schedule, isn’t league just a rubber stamp?
