This just now happened to me. I took screenshots. I was halfway through the match, and somehow abruptly sent to the heart of the mists loading screen. Once I loaded in, I received the queue pop which said match in progress. So I click on Go Now, nothing happened. I spam it, and nothing happens. I opened the PvP window, and click the Go Now there, and nothing happened.
I closed my client, reopened Gw2.exe, loaded in, and was finally able to enter the match with about 20 seconds before it started. Somehow the match that already had progress had restarted, and it was now 4(my team) v 2. I felt bad for the other team because it was an even 5v5 solo q before the kicking of players. Slowly the other players loaded in, but it was too late for them to win.

Are we just getting 1 pvp track, 1 dungeon track and 5 or 6 regional tracks tomoz? Then a new dungeon track every 2 weeks, upto a maxium of 8 dungeon tracks?
From what I recall on the livestream they did some time ago, yes, but you only need to unlock it once because the dungeon tracks rotate. You can only have 2 active reward tracks at any 1 time.

Yes, once you do story mode on 1 character, the reward track is unlocked account wide.
No, it is still the same as before. Every character has to do story mode to unlock explorable mode per character.

I’d say 90% of the time, it’s a bad idea to sit on any point. Part of the game is keeping numbers in mind:
5 Enemies, 4 teammates, and you.
I’m just going to provide a simple typical scenario:
Game started. You decide to cap home, 4 to mid.
Enemies do the same: 1 home, 4 mid.
Enemy caps far, mid is contested, and you cap home. What do you do now?
At this point, its better to go to mid. There’s a 4v4 occurring there and there’s always a chance your team will lose the fight… BUT if you show up to mid, it becomes a 5v4, in which the chances your team wins the fight has greatly increased.
Now if the 1 enemy decides to go far, so be it, because hopefully you can win the mid fight and cap it, and while the enemy is still spawning you can also win home. If that one enemy shows up at mid, then you have a 5v5, and that’ll tell you if your team can win fights.
The point is, it is better to cap and support your team in a fight than to stand on a point and be outnumbered somewhere else. This doesn’t mean you should ignore what the enemy is doing, keep their numbers in mind and where they may plan to go.

Great Allie! Any chance we can get these clarification questions answered about the announced mesmer grandmaster traits?
- Disruptor’s Sustainment – Gain 1,000 healing power for 5s upon interrupting a foe.
Does this stack in intensity or duration (or at all)?
- Maim the Disillusioned – Enemies hit by shatter skills are inflicted with torment.
Is torment applied per illusion hit or per landed shattered skill? How much torment is applied?Thanks in advance
These are my guess:
During the last episode, cooldowns were mentioned, and I’m assuming Disruptor’s Sustainment has an internal cooldown, (stacking the effect in any way can get out of hand).
Maim the Disillusioned will apply torment per landed shatter skill.

@village idiot.1436 although engis and eles will have access to 2 sigils instead of 4, those classes can better utilize the on-swap sigils since swapping attunements and kits procs them
Will there be exclusive/unique skins only obtainable by spvp? If not, can there be?
I feel that kind of reward be awesome and once players bring it to other game modes (via wardrobe), then others will ask about the skin and it’ll only bring more players to spvp. It’ll also exemplify spvp players’ achievements as we only really have our /rank and finishers at the moment.
With today’s blog posts about the wardrobe and the reveal that legendary skins can be reapplied infinitely in all game modes, I for one will be changing my pvp build to incorporate my legendary
(Only have Twilight at the moment).
My question is, if you currently have any, will you change your pvp build to be able to use your legendary(-ies)? If you don’t have any, will this entice you to start looking/crafting a legendary? (Or buy one for 2000+ Gold!)

The name’s Song, and I’m currently looking for a team to join up with to do tournaments with. My main is a Warrior who I’ve accumulated about 2000 hours on, so I am very well versed with my profession. I can also play other professions as well as a variety of roles such as: bunker guardian or condition necro to name a few. My record on the leaderboards have been 150 for team and 35 for solo. I am a great team player with excellent communication. I don’t trash talk at all, am competitive, and I am looking for like minded teammates as well.

I don’t think it is a big deal. From what I’ve experienced, I’ve never had to refer to my character’s personality characteristic (I probably even forgot what it was).
So, it can be safe to assume that when you hear people saying or referring to their ferocity, that they are referring to the critical damage spec and not their character’s personality.
Make dyes (using glory and pvp mystic forge), them sell/use em.
Match reward chests will not disappear until the feature build, so they’ll still be around tomorrow.
1. Yes, once you convert the skin to PvP, you get 3 of them (1 light, 1 medium, & 1 heavy).
2. You can expect that the skins you have in your locker (and on your character) will be usable in PvE and other areas, but anet hasn’t mentioned anything other than that. So, it is not certain if you can use the mask on more than one character (as in using the mask for 2 other heavy characters as you only have 1).

I’m afraid there’s nothing in the changes that’ll address decap engis… I’ll be ready to be disappointed.
Their reasoning is this:
- people who used all of their boosters are duped, if we compensate people who could not use their boosters before 18 March.
How are people duped if they used their boosters? I mean, really, how are they duped for having earned double glory all that time?
I can only think of people who are duped not having been able to use all of their boosters within the time given to them. For them, there is nothing.
Any sort of compensation/exchange for boosters hurts those who used them already. Lets assume player A has 250 boosters and player B who saw they were removing glory and used all his boosters ahead of time. Anet announces today they will compensate the removal by exchanging 1 booster for 1 gold. Player A is out 250 gold and B is happy, where +50% more glory for 250 hours is less valuable because glory will no longer have any value (not that it did have much value until recent kodan vendor).
The exchange doesn’t have to be gold, it can be anything (another booster, skins, etc.). Point is that anything is better than +50% glory… since glory won’t have any value

I should mention that the devs have discussed that your look in spvp will carry over to other areas of the game (pve, wvw, etc.) with the new feature build/reward system (release date: TBD). So if you want cultural armor for your character in pve and elsewhere, I’d recommend getting it now for glory as it is cheaper (Tier 3 = 60,000 glory & 60 gold in pvp, 120 gold in pve).
Edit: I don’t know if the achievement will unlock/progress once the feature build/reward system comes out.
I like the idea of increasing the radius of capture points. It’ll deter decap builds and require more focus on positioning. As it stands now, it appears simple to knock an enemy off a point from almost any region of the capture point. I like Legacy of Foefire’s middle point (The Graveyard), it allows for an interesting team fight or even small skirmishes. I don’t know if the increase should be that big, but it is a good example of a favored enlarged capture point.
Nope, PVE only for the moment.
rank doesn’t equate to skill. rank can tell you their time investment, but they could have lost most of their games. if you feel like you always lose, i’d look at changing other things like your build, amulets, or even profession.
I very much enjoyed episode 5 with the scrimmage… I think there should be a scrimmage each episode if possible!
A janky way of checking at the moment to is stand next to the portal, and everytime someone new enters your party, try entering the dungeon to see the maximum scale. If that scale is lower than what you expected, then you know the new person that joined isn’t at the expected scale.

What’s your reasoning for wanting to change the current skill system?
I personally am fine with the current system. I am looking forward to new weapon types they may release that will bring in new skills (scythes?, brass knuckes?, etc.)
