I logged out to watch TV with the wife. I tried to get those guys to leave the camps, but they won’t.

See thats the thing I’m figuring out. I think older players have a different set of standards when it comes to WvW.

I’m in my 30s. I’ve pretty much left ET alone because they are worst off than GOM.

When I saw Armorless AR players at the puzzle…I left them alone.

Yet I see both GOMMers and AR capturing that area. I can understand AR doing it but the GOMs doing it are wasting time and should be focusing on the other lands that are important.

its not a HUGE boost in population! AR may of gotten 15 people so far but the PVP population is coming from our own PVE world . They been seeing us in WVW doing really well the 1st 2 days and more and more PVErs been showing. I do hate Free server transfers the servers will naturally fill up as time goes on and game improves. Free server transfers wipe out WVW for 1 side. Like what happened to AR before the new bunch of AR’s wvw alliance showed up.

I’m sorry but the WHOLE MAP IS NEARLY green. I am not stupid. You have three times as many people as you did 3 weeks ago.

Oh and some of you really seem to ENJOY zerging small groups when your zerg is over 30 players.

And you guys even killed me when all I wanted was to finish the map. I just need the one vista in the jumping puzzle. I dont give a frig about the free siege.

I WANT to complete the map. Thats all.

We didn’t gain that many, at peak we hit a queue once on the weekend. You guys just happened to lose a lot of players to both Anvil Rock, but mainly to Borlis Pass. Your biggest guilds left, which is going to destroy any server.

Last week AR did not attack GOM at the puzzle. I even worked with some to help fight Borlis camping. We still didnt make it to the end but at least it was worth the effort.

ROFLAMO yes when you lost 30% of your main pvpers on Gom we will outnumber you. Yes we do enjoy it who wouldnt? We have more people in PVP Again due to more PVE’ERS joining in. We have something called LEADERS and people who enjoy Small group raiding. Thats how we have the whole map and a thing called home land defense.

Whatever. Hope you enjoy being on your own. We have some pretty kitten good leaders as well but we cant do anything when you outnumber us and its pretty suspicious how your numbers grew from weeks ago.

Some of us don’t have the time to grind 3-4 hours a night doing Fractals.

People are on GOM Borderlands now talking about not playing for the rest of the week.

Worst thing is the WvW requirement that is there EVERY month. Now don’t get me wrong, I love spvp, but WvW is like pulling teeth trying to find people to kill.

The WvW is a EASY. I get it done in one day. For novices you can get easily get it done in 4 days.

At GOM…we have people who NEVER want to defend. Its a huge problem.

I get tired of dropping siege and have it being lost after 15 minutes so I rarely drop siege.

And we should leave ET Borderlands alone! Our players are few as it is and its really annoying to see everyone spread out.

supreme numbers do win, but stupid gameplay loses. I don’t mean to be harsh..i transferred at the beginning of the week TO GoM. Some of the things I see boggle my mind.

Today they lost garrison, there was a mesmer that hid and was pleading to port people in to take it back. The commander ignored the guy 5 different times, ordered trebs built to knock down the wall. Even after having a few people on /m or /t tell him to take the easy way. Of course the trebs sort of gave away their intentions long before the walls came down..

Another thing is, as a lot of you know there are certain towers/keeps that should have certain siege in it at select points every time you own it. You know, to treb other towers or keeps or whatever, everytime you own one, it should be ready to treb the other etc..
They never, ever do.

Somehow beyond logic, GoM can own a tower for 3 hours, not have a single upgrade or piece of siege in it, but still have no supply.

I wanted to go to a low tier server and fight the good fight, so I expected a lot of this, just pointing out a couple of examples on why it isn’t just numbers. GoM is pretty terrible at tactics.
Their only one that seems to work sometimes is the one commander who just screams ‘Brute Force’, has the little zerg, and the other 2 servers happen to be engaged with each other so we can take a few things.

I agree. I get sick and tired of telling people to freaking upgrade once they cap. And I get tired of using my badges to do it myself only to see it lost in a couple of hours.

People either don’t want to upgrade/defend or they are too LAZY to do it. All I hear is when I log on to GOM are people blathering….“Lets take this or Lets take that”

Its EQUALLY IMPORTANT to hold and defend the stuff we have.

Servers need to experience both winning and losing in order to grow, it’s just a matter of how that server’s players handle and react to both situations.

They are tired of the same matchup and its demoralizing to be outmanned.

And Borlis…you have people in all areas…you had several transfers…stop denying it. It will only make it harder for you when you move up a tier and get crushed.

Just want to say my problem isn’t with Anvil and I have experienced some awesome fights with all of you.

GOM should just write off this week and give it to Borlis and AR.

We don’t have the numbers and its obvious they are taking advantage of it.

And it doesn’t help that one of our former Commanders joined Borlis and probably spilled how we play.

Just let the area be Blue and Green. We don’t have the numbers and more and more players are demoralized this weekend because they are sick of playing the teams

What about the people who could NOT CARE LESS for the siege. Some of us just need that one area to complete the map. Its NOT FAIR to us! I even have removed my armor and weapons as a signal that I am not out to kill. I just want the achievement.

Funny how BP is attacking GOM but AR is untouched. I guess they love taking advantage of the server with the smallest amount of players. It boosts their esteem.

Looking forward to seeing them get smashed when they go up a tier.

As for this week, I don’t see much point to play. People are getting tired of playing the same teams over & over & over and there is very little morale as it is.

It makes a huge difference. Yesterday, I was in overflow doing the Lost Shores Phase 3 event, and at 2 hour 50 minute mark, we were still struggling at “Reinforcement phase 2”. Other servers are already done at 2 hour15 minute mark. We were late by about an hour. And mind you, we had as many people, if not more, than those other servers. I found out because I got disconnected, and ended up somewhere else.

Gears make a big difference.

No it doesnt. My level 65 Engineer died only once in the event. And I did not have special gear nor was I judged for not having it. I kept my group ALIVE and thats what mattered.

Pretty funny how I was able to do the event on my engineer without special gear.

My engineer is level 65, yet I only died once and was able to solo Karkas on my own and I helped keep my group alive. As for my gear? All greens except for a rare rifle.

Its about skill. Nobody dumped me for my gear.

Hey BP! Real classy of you spawn camping our spawn. Look up the definition of sportsmanship…you seem to have forgotten.

I think I have a PvP-phobia. I’m just scared being killed and hunted by other players. In PVE it’s fine because I can run away, and the monsters will lose aggro. But being hunted by players seems too personal to me, this is why I cannot do PvP or WvW. Am I the only one feeling like this and is it weird?

Also, I know that when I do PvP against another player, I will most likely die, so there is no point of me to PvP at all, since all I’ll be doing is respawning over and over. Any suggestions ?

I actually felt the same way until I tried it. Its not as difficult as you make it out to be and its actually fun when you are in a group

As fun as its been playing the last couple of weeks, I still see certain members of GOM making boneheaded moves

First, when the other side attempts to take the keep and we manage to successfully defend, it should be common sense to REPAIR the canons, oil, etc BEFORE everything on the agenda. The odds are they could attempt to take the keep again or the other server could do it. Its best to be prepared. The same goes for each of our holdings on our lands.

Second, when we are outmanned and when theres is a call out to defend the Keep when its being taken…We need EVERY player to help

It just seems we have a huge issue when it comes to defense. Its something that really needs to be worked on

Um…Just so you know there were plenty of people from the OTHER teams camping it this past weekend. Its not just GOM so please don’t blame us because it goes BOTH ways.

Don’t miss it at all. I played a healer class in WOW and it burned me out.

I APPRECIATE that I can still help downed players because I do not miss people barking orders at me.

They were not, and I spend all my time in WvW and I have never seen all three gates being camped. In fact for EB last night, I never even used the side gate. I ran out the front and turned right and ran without interruption, every single time I was sent to spawn. There is simply no reason at all to be spawn camped. That one time 2 players were camping a side exit, just doesn’t cut it as an excuse.

You have this unique ability to be in every spawn area? Look. I’ve seen it done so its obvious we’ll have to agree to disagree.

Here is a crazy idea, use another exit. The only way you can be spawned camped in this game is because you choose to be. How can you QQ about something you are doing to yourself?

Last night in EB we, SF, lost Mendon after having it for 1-2 hrs and lot of us spending time upgrading, escorting cows, defending supplies. When it got attacked we have maybe 6-10 defenders, mean while two commanders and a horde of people are within eyesight fighting at the spawn and none came to help defend mendon.

As a player I could care less about the score. Target rich environment is what I like and am playing way more this week then I did last week when we were stomping. If you want to quit or spend your time QQing, that is fine, I simply do not care. However when we take an objective I will set aside my personal fun and come help, for-the-realm kinda kitten. I escort, I run supplies, I provided BP, etc. To see that kitten away because of a bunch of fails being camped at their spawn when they can simply run past or out the side exit makes me hate my server.

I am glad they are camping you at your spawn, you deserve it.

Just want to say thanks to the SF Group who ignored my GOM group when we were taking Yaks Guard Points and such. My group were the ones that cheered when you took down those Yaks further down.

It shows what kind of players you have when you mortar the GOM spawn area in Eternal Battlegrounds.

Im not saying all of you do it but these same players that spawn kill will be the ones that abandon you if you get matched to better teams.

I’m on GOM and I just wanted to say it was fun playing tonight with some of you.

Sure we were outnumbered but it was still fun and a good workout. Hope we kept you from being bored.

Yesterday I was invited to a group at Malchor’s Leap. We explored the area to complete it. We did events. We chatted, laughed, and helped each other along the way.

One member of the group was excited to get a great loot drop that would help her and we congratulated her.

After awhile, it was late we parted ways before saying thank you and adding each other’s names to our contact list.

You want community….you have to contribute!

This game is NOT WOW and everyday I am thankful that it isn’t. Too much bullying and elitism on WOW now.

Last week there was communication when GOM played. Everyone worked TOGETHER. And we won.

I logged on to play on EB this evening and its pathetic. Nobody is working together. There is no communication. Thats not how World vs World works.

We could have at least put up a decent fight for second but I see there is not much point to play this week.

YES I get its in a PVP area but for some of us its the ONLY area of the entire map we want to complete and we want to get IT DONE!

I have far more respect for the people of the opposing team who have the courtesy to leave the members of the opposing team alone in the jumping puzzle.

Thats my support ticket. I’m able to buy gems but just recently, I am NO LONGER receiving my items by the game mail.

Did not have any problems before until this week.

I will NOT be buying anymore gems until this issue is resolved.
