I have a custom high end gaming rig with 32 gigs of RAM, a NVIDIA Quadro K2000 and it still makes me too disoriented and nauseous to play. What setting can I adjust?

It would encourage people to stop using bad gear and trying to get carried, so I think it would be a good tool.

It encourages elitism which is something we do not need in this game.

I finally got it tonight. The event failed and I still got the last one and I still dont get how I managed to get it so my suggestion is just continue to do them and you will get it eventually. It certainly is one of the most frustrating achievements of the game.

It was the bright colors and the pathways. I just couldnt take it for long periods. There actually was a post in these forums about others being sick from it too when it came out the first time.

If it doesnt change, no problem. I’ll just avoid it.

Has there been improvements? It really made me sick the last time I attempted it.

If it hasn’t improved; I’ll just be skipping it and let everyone else is fortunate not to get sick from it, enjoy it.

Im not planning to do any of those. I have no inclination or desire to constantly change the builds for any of my level 80s.

I do that enough for regular PVP and that is enough for me.

Its come to the point where I am no longer addicted to getting every single achievement. I have over 6500 points and I am fine with that.

Sure it can be fun when you get a decent group….but it sucks when you don’t.

And there should be a barrier not far from your spawn point so the other team doesnt get to where you spawn.

Never seen the night crew of GoM so demoralized after [WvW] guild gave all their hard work away for free earlier today. No commanders anymore, no upgrades or siege being bought and no response teams for defense either.

WHY? We have a 50K+ lead and we have almost everything in EB. Whats the point of taking it so serious?

EDIT: the act itself doesn’t bother me at all, the fact that one guild held its opinions higher than everyone else’s does. GoM’s alliance isn’t a few guilds, it’s many. it would do well to remember that fact.

It wasn’t just one guild it was an alliance.

It wasn’t the whole alliance, just some guilds in it. I don’t think the people who made the decision kinda expected it would be so unpopular with some other people (in the alliance and outside it) – nothin like this has ever come up before that I know of and I don’t know if there was a clear cut decision. I didn’t expect it to be honest, though I had learned after the fact. After hearing some from the people who were upset I can see their point of view, I’m pretty 50/50 on it.

People are there to fight against FC and ET, not to help them and they don’t really like being prevented from doin so, which is fair and valid. I’m glad ET got their vistas.

Edit: Probably should avoid this sort of thing in the future.

I think some people have forgotten that we have been in a similar position that is currently facing ET and FC. And nobody and I mean NOBODY ever gave us a break.

Glad they got their map completion but I will be relieved when this match is over with.

Every time I log into GOM BL at night…theres hardly anybody playing and some GOM in map chat were imploring people NOT to attack.

I could understand if there was a scheduled FIGHT CLUB but there wasnt. I left of course…because people were being bullying about it but like I said….I will be relieved when this match is completed .

Since I have accumulated several karma and exotic sets, they are taking up space in my bank. I would gladly pay for storage space where I could store them. Please consider it. Thanks for reading.

It is the Southsun Economist Merchant and he ONLY sells them when you have 4/4 settlements under control. Both the masterwork/blue armor are the pirate set. This merchant can be found in Pearl Islet, Steampipe Steading and some other settlements.

Keep in mind the pirate set is not a new skin.

WvW players don’t have any laurels at all.

By making it require laurels, you are requiring the WvW player to do extensive PvE just to get any ascended equipment.

Please reconsider.

Funny how I have over 100 laurels. Its easy to get laurels in WvW

Food & Sharpening Stone boost attribute too high. It just makes WvWvW too hardcore and become only 80 level players battlefield.
For low level players, they are hard to survive. Anet should ban all buff from foods and sharpening stone in WvWvW and make the “Survival rate” of Level 80 and low level more balance.

While the matches the last few weeks have been truly fun I will be glad when HOD moves to T6. Its become demoralizing always being outmanned again. It was more fun when it was even. I will continue to trudge on I guess.

To the Hod Mesmer that found me roaming…that was an awesome fight. You downed me and then you went down a few seconds later . It was hilarious to see us fighting until the end. :-)

And thanks for the bow after I went down. Since you guys have been leading, I’ve had Hod dance and threaten on my dead body. You might want to remind them there is a such thing as winning gracefully.

I agree with the op, the ranger longbow is supremely OP and can wreck a zerg. I heard that barrage hits for 40k damage each time.

I also have an 800 Watt power supply and my rig has the maximum fans allowed.

Removing food from wvw will also bring a huge inbalance on the market since no one will be ever using any other food than magic find+gold for pve in addition making the crafting proffesion literally useless.

I know,i have too already realized that some people will complain just about everything and considering the last karma consumable worked tought should give a shot at this too but the difference is everybody loves consumables in WvW and if you are not using them then is your own problem and you should deal with it acordingly not try to destroy the game for thousands if not tens of thousands of players.

As much as I LOVE my nourishments in WvW i feel it creates imbalance in WvW. For example you can create a high vitality/toughness build and then put on your nourishment that gives you power on the amount of toughness and vitality you have allowing you to hit much harder then you really should in my opinion as a vit/tough build. This imbalance is what leads certain builds to be marked as OP. Taking to much bleed damage? There is a nourishment for that too making some build useless in WvW because the build is based on dealing condition damage. Like I said I love my nourishments but I think they should go as they create to much imbalance in WvW Doing this would also allow you to see the other imbalances in classes and tweak them easier.

Go to the MISTS if you want to play a game without “nourishments”

I think the key word here was RUDE.
I made this observation also.
In PvE most people are friendly, kind and helpful. Once you switch to sPvP suddenly everybody forgets good manners and starts to act like an kitten. During Matches in the best case noone says a word, but when someone opens his mouth it’s something rude and insulting.
I’m just rank 9, so my pvp experience is limited, but i only ONCE met a guy who said GG at the end of a fight

They were telling people “to get the **** out.” Luckily I found a server where people were playing in teams but before I did leave I took GREAT pleasure in killing the rude one. And I’m glad it kitten him off.

If they had been nice about and said “Hey, we’re kind of dueling at the moment, would you please go to another server?” I wouldn’t have been so angry.

My issues is they acted like the server BELONGED to them when it doesn’t.

Arena Net really needs to create a few servers for these people who want duels

I am sick of going into PVP and encountering rude people who just want duel.

Create a venue for them so people who want to play in teams can play

Thats just great. I just saw the outmanned buff at GOM Borderlands. There are others getting tired as well of this matchup. It begins to get demoralizing especially when you are being double teamed.

Guess I’ll keep on fighting.

How about you rely on the skill you have with your profession then some ridiculous in-game, non-balanced items?

Its one thing to have a tree branch that can stun drop from an Oakheart (atleast im pretty sure) but it doesnt replace the abilities your class has and suddenly outshines them by offering a gimmick to rely on.

I use food/oil. I also use Blessings as well.

I dont use skale venom because i just dont see the good in it, i dont think it makes or breaks your match. But is skale venmon really needed to win that duel? So that crit you just made useless with weakness (or made into a glancing blow) that you got from skale venom allowed you to noob-face-tank that high dmg move he just casted on you, instead of having to dodge, and react accordingly. Yup thats Tooootally skill right there.

Because yes, that is what skill is, not learning how to view battle, when to dodge, and how to go about initiating an attack on someone. Its about spamming buttons and getting as many game mechanics on your side that you know about rather then your opponent.

Wow my level of expectation to the quality of pvpers in this game has now been severely put into perspective.

Some classes don’t get perma stealth. Until its eliminated, I plan to use these consumables against the class that gets it.

You are comparing this game to Dragon Age 2? This is an online game. Dragon Age 2 is game that barely sold half of what the first game sold. I’m following development on DA3 and they are dropping those animations because the majority hated them.

You really should compared another online game to skills and not a single player RPG.

I don’t care about the objects being banned but not the food.

What’s next? Banning Arrow Carts and Omega Golems?

You can buy them in Metrica Province for 8 copper a piece. They increase in power off your stats. Was getting hit by them for 5-8k, you can just spam them on a target.

It probably should be nerfed or removed.

I seem to recall a post from you that said arrow carts should be removed too.

Looks like DH got some server transfers. It sure was a fun week last week but now we’re being outnumbered again.

The last few weeks have at least been fun and fair and enjoyable. I can already see how this will turn out this week.

I am new to this game. It has surpassed my expectations in every way , and I’m hopelessly addicted.

Big respect to the artists and programmers!

However: This whole Crismas thing feels to me really forced. It is jarring to see these silly boxes dotted around pristine fantasy landscapes. There is one whichever way you look, apparently, and some are just too close to waypoints. Once I was just standing inside a seemingly safe area (inside a fort) working on my inventory when some idiot openend a box and then ran off and i had to stop what i was doing and fight for my life. . .

The game is overwhelming for beginners and we DONT NEED THIS STUFF.

The enemies that come out of the boxes ar unbalanced and lethal if you’re playing solo and don’t have experience and high level gear. The rewards just plain suck – ugly socks?
After dying and then spending 15 minutes trying to kill these cheap toy dolls with their cheap shots, I get Ugly Socks???

On my first few hours in the game, I went to Lion’s Arch to see what the fuss is all about , as I cannot remove the message on the top right of my screen constantly reminding me of a holiday i don’t care about. So there was some Toymaker thing I could check out.
I naively went in only to be quickly killed by some black blurry stuff. The worse came after, I could not see how to leave that horrible toy area and get back to my homeworld. As new player , this wasn’t a welcome feeling.

So here’s hoping that this event will go away , forever. Those boxes all over the map are an eyesore.

At least let us remove the reminder on the top right of the screen PLEASE!

You obviously didn’t play Guild Wars 1 did you? Alot of other MMOs have online holiday events as well so I suggest avoiding them since you are so easily offended.

The solution for this is easy;

Just respawn the dead player to the most far spawn point automatically after a particular time.

I was going to suggest the same thing. Give them 1 minute then auto respawn!

This has definitely been an enjoyable matchup. I’ve been in some truly epic fights this past weekend.

My only issue is with my own server…….GOM—-We really need to work on defense and when you see oil and canons in the construction phase and the keeps and tower have FULL supply………..REPAIR THEM!!! Its better to be safe then sorry.

Other than that, its been super fun so far.
