it’s presented like a dark story, because of a alot of things.
- the voiced dialog indeed, she says alot of pretty dark stuff and even her voice is dark itself
- the music is epic but also has this dark and evil vibe to it
- the colours are dark, darkish green
- you can also see that everyting around the tower is dead
- the krait also look kinda hellish

this must be the best preview trailer till now, it looks goddman awesome and finally a by the looks of it a more darker story. The trailer really gave me goosebumps.

You need to do an event in kessex hills for example that will summon a door and that door is a gateway to the mad realm
i agree with redenaz. Anet has almost done all of the the good and game improving updates they promised, so I won’t mind if legendary gear would be slipped to next year.
is it going to change or stay the same as last year. I think some changes would be nice (changes that make it harder of course)

Hi i hope somebody can help me, I think it’s a bug, but there is a chance that I did somthing wrong (but that seems very unlikely). When i logged in today in GW I received a chest from the 1000 achievement points and i opened it. but i only got around 4 items: a karma booster, a chest containging pvp stuff, mystic forge stones and another booster, But I didn’t get a weapon of choice and i also dind’t get the gold upgrade. Did i do something wrong or is this a bug. I hope this message will get noticed and that somebody will help me.

I think this is the best dungeon ever made so far, but i’m stuck too with ellen kiel not doing anything. A npc reset thingy would be nice. beacause now i have to start doing it all over again
I want to know if other people think there needs to be more variation in dungeons in the game. I like the way it’s handled with the story mode and the paths, also the fracs are really, really good too. Only i think that there needs to be more 1 path/only story mode dungeons added. official dungeons, not things like vexa’s lab and tears of itacol (they are really good too but too small not for 5 man). The molten core is a good example if dungeons like that are added and made a bit harder it would really improve the game(in my opionion).
It doesn’t have to mean that these dungeons also have specific dungeon armour, but it would be better if some bosses have rare drop changes like the jetpack in MC or challenges are involved, for example if you complete the boss without getting hit or something like that you get an achievemt and with that you receive a rare or exotic helmet.
What do you think about this?
yhea that would be nice. More varition is alway good and i don’t think there is enough variation in guild wars yet , It would also be nice if the guardian had a profession specific hammer and the warrior a profession specific sword (but that is something i would personelly like)

This is not true. An armor in game is a 3d image not made of real fabric. So you need 3d images for every 6 and every race. Now for Norn, Silvari and Humans, the difference are so minimal you can almost fully use the same model. For charr and Asura you need totally different models. So to do this they need to design 6 models per armor set. With 8 professions, and your wish to add 2 per professions this means they need to make 96 new models.
Although I like armor and shopping for my armor, I do think that every profession and style can get the armor they like, including some really goof-balls. I rather have them invest time in other things.
well my point was that the armour (light medium heavy) is bound to a profession, like a warrior is only able to equip heavy so they only heave to make heavy armour for the warrior and not light and medium and an engineer only needs medium. Compared to dungeon armour for example it’s a whole lot less armour to make.
you wright about the fact that charr and asura have diffrent models so they need to be redesignd, but they do not completly have to change the armour is already there they onoly need to be redesign a little bit.
i think you made a mistake with your mathmetics by the way.
2 types of profession armour X 3 diffrent models for the races = 6 models per Profession for all races
there are 8 professions so 8 prof X 6 models = 48 diffrent models
I think guild wars 2 is a really good game but i’m still missing some things. I will make other topics about them but here is the first one: Profession specific armour.
the way armour is handled now to express yourself is good, but in my eyes not perfect. I like the racial armour an dungeon specific armour wich are both formed by light, medium and heavy. But i also think it’s a good idea to add profession specific armour and i will tell you why.

Also more amour is always nice there has never been a problem with too much armour.
But the actual problem is that you can’t really show what proffesion you play only by your appearance. I never see the diffrence between an engineer and a ranger or the diffrence between a warrior and a guardian. And profession specific armour should be the anwer.

So i was watching the debut trailer from guild wars 2, and i was wondering what happend to some places that were shown in it, but are not in the game. Maybe i missed some of them (almost have world completion) and some places were early concpet so they’re a kittenanged now, but there are still some things that look really awesome and i think should be in the game. I hpe anybody knows more of these missing zones
I agree with you LameFox.6349. It would be pretty sweet if you could climb all over the black citadel. It’s a really intersting city
I was just wondering what zones people think are the best or wich one they liked the most, so i will start first. personally my favourite map is Blazeridge Steppes, because it containts a lot of diversity it has, branded creatures, ghosts, all sorts of crazy wildlife, a meta event. Lots of different environment design but it all fits in the same theme. It has a pretty cool history, it just feels so really alive. But on top of all and why i really love the zone is becasue of the contrast in the map. For example if you walk in the hills it’s quite peacefull maybe there are some wolves or other creatures that are hostile but it stays quite peacefull, but when you enter the enemy territory of the branded you really feel the danger and you really need to fight back to survive or run for your live, that also makes the elder dragons more dangerous, cause you can really witness the power of them.
my other favourite place is hellion forest in the iron marches, becasue i really like dark and creepy forests with witches spiders and other horror kinda things. I would do anything for Arenanet so they can make a full zone like hellion forest.
By the way sorry for my bad english, it’s not my natvie language.
i totally agree with you sinifair. I kinda miss the real danger of enemies and because of that there isn’t that epic feeling when you are playing. It would be pretty awesome if the environments are really changing and it will be much harder to stop enemies from doing so. That will almost make the living story amd the game perfect in my eyes.
