Same issues. I was in The Grove and did the wardrobe stuff and got banners from an ANET person. After that, can’t chat.

I think that the update said that existing unlocked traits won’t be locked. It might be a bit of a gamble that it will be cheaper than 2 gold to unlock all those traits, I bought the manual yesterday, as I figure it will be about the same expense either way.

Maybe add an automatic system that allows you to carry a hidden minimum sell amount on your items, and will automatically update your sale if someone undercuts you. Maybe a checkbox that allows you to automatically undercut people up to 1% of your initial asking price.

1. Show me the bad guy early, especially if I’m going to resolve everything through violence. I should want to get my hands on the person, I should be mad if they get away, and so on. Get to the point, then build the narrative. Even if the final baddy is a bit of a swerve, I’d like to have some investment in the enemy characters as well as the friendly ones.

3. Better aftermath/epilogue content at the end. Right now everyone is just jumping around Vigil Keep and there are a few sad survivors NPCs in Lion’s Arch.

Dragon Bash? Southsun Farming? Molten Alliance dungeon? Battle for Lion’s Arch? SAB? etc.

Whatever updates you liked the most since Flame and Frost began, please share. I tended to like a lot of the updates and have seen a lot of criticism, so for those who played through the LS, what stuff did you enjoy the most, was anything special, what would you like to see more of?

I liked the Molten Alliance dungeon quite a bit, and while I didn’t run it every day for two weeks like I did with a lot of the other content, it still stands out in my memory as being pretty good.

SAB was pretty good too, I liked that I could pop in with my friends and enjoy, I could go in with randoms, or I could just go in myself. Not to mention how fun the presentation was.

Why would any of this be involved in a legendary? You did immediately farm-mode content and got farming quality loot.

I mean we all saw how FA gets their jolly’s, they can’t even get a decent fight in unless they know for a fact when and where people are coming and they know that those people are vulnerable and they have to outnumber them at least 3-4 to 1, like what just happened at the Dolyak parade. And if I remember correctly, this happened last time we were set up against FA to. They just plain suck at this game, imo this server should commit suicide, but that’s impossible so I feel bad for FA cause they have to go on as FA.

CD has a guild I think [INC] was the name. You didn’t have the numbers last night but you did earn our respect. Not sure if we ran into you before (EB militia zerg) but it was nice to finally see a guild like that this week. /salute

So to be serious for a moment here, the people you see at spawn most likely had nothing to do with taking the keep, and once the wall gets knocked down, they will probably be out of there like a bat out of hell. When we face BG/TC next week they won’t be around. To most people on FA, those people aren’t really part of who we are. But for CD, it’s who you probably think FA is.

I think TC is in a similar situation – for so long they were #1 in tier 2, so they had plenty of fairweathers and people just hopping on the gravy train. FA often thought that TC was mostly just those guys, just that there were so many of them. The dedicated TC WvW community probably didn’t identify with them at all.

I do think the complaints about emotes are kinda lame and you can just turn those off. CD and SoS (and every server we’ve ever faced, TC probably the biggest ‘offender’ back in the day) will use emotes and corpse jumping and whatever.

I wish every week everyone had somewhat even numbers and servers could spend time defending and attacking as momentum shifts back and forth. I find it fascinating that Anet can make anything happen as long as it is tied to the gem shop but WvW has some major flaws (no GvG, coverage imbalances, no updates to keep people from checking out new PvE content) that just float on by. Then again, stagnant design is tied to the gem shop through transfers, which is what the current system encourages.

How about people stop pinning servers into their spawn… It makes the game no fun, and you get very little accomplished other than boredom after about 15 minutes of doing it… If you have an issue with a particular guild let them out go kick the crap out of them in an open field fight.

Some okay skirmishes around SOSBL. nothing too great. Decent manners from some CD groups, seemed like they would be OK to gang up on you, but accept a fight where they were down a guy. We have some 2v2s going but one of their dumb thief friends kept messing it up for them. That’s the only time I’ll run back to a tower during roaming.

I kept having to go AFK during some troll events at north camp, sorry. Did have fun with one of my friends from Fang though. I feel like I play Taps on the flute very well, though I guess some people don’t appreciate art

We don’t do roaming on reset night. You probably ran into a scout sent to look after a tower. Which does not involve 1v1s. But seeing as how your zerg keeps running away from us, I can sympathize with your disappointment.

At least CD will fight us. Too bad FA always goes after the weakest server. They push CD off the map and we can’t get a good fight from anyone.

Just please I’ve had enough of that from JQ On comms there was definitely recognition of SoS giving good fights. Given what SoS did last time, it’s nice to see.

Then it was EB train, and that went how you’d expect. SoS had some nice little tactics, and numbers.

Think I’m gonna try to roam a bit (and I’m awful so enjoy the free kills) this week. An easy week to get sloppy in, so time to go get some bruises instead.

TC/DB. It’s been a couple months now.

SOR/BG/FA would be OK for a taste of actual tier 1. I wouldn’t want to face either without the other, I think when all 3 servers have coverage mismatches then it’s boring for everyone. I don’t want Mags to get stuck against SOR/BG but I’d love to see the topic.

MAYBE SOR/TC/FA because that would probably be a hard Yak party to crash but the rest of the week would suck.
