I don’t think they care for it, or about that. I can’t speak for them though. I’ve seen a few comments about guilds worrying about that stuff – so what? A while ago, some Lauren from RE was telling us ‘we don’t have the privilege of not putting in 12-16 hour days into WvW’. Anyone who is putting that sort of pressure on themselves deserves the mental anguish that comes with it.

There’s only one person who you are responsible for having fun in this game – his name is Chris and he plays on SoS.

What I learn for my 3rd week of WvW:

- Enemies like to join you just to insult you
- I can beat “pro player” even if I just started 2-3 week of pvp/wvw.
- DB has almost no point, because JQ and FA work more together just to make sure JQ is #1, FA is #2, and DB loses a lot. From spying to making sure DB is barely outnumbered, DB will definitely end up 3rd. I expect this to be a huge trend, where servers will ally against whoever they don’t like, making WvW absolutely kittened. I expect a lot of players to quit or change server non stop in a very close future. GW2 community will die even faster except if Arenet finally decide to improve the balance between servers.
- DB did pretty well considering they were attacked by 2 servers non stop.
- I hope JQ and FA get destroyed. I would gladly spy for whoever is their opponents.
- Can’t wait for the next hour

My recommendation to FA is to quit harping that you are under dogs. Dragonbrand is full of awesome NA guilds that have brought the fight all week. From my own personal experience rB NS QT TG and EA while on maps only talked about how much fun we are having fighting FA and JQ NA guilds. Everyone is so overly server proud and develops bias that are just silly. I’d be excited to have this exact match up next week.

The current match is the even one your NA should want, if they actually want the fights.

I don’t think you’ll find what you are looking for naturally occurring in the wild. I know you’ve already done a lot of work to help yourself out, but, you may need to do a little more and be an advocate for your style of play more than you have. Sorry – “where should I go” just leads to people recruiting you to cap camps or keep enemy havoc squads busy. If you’re not fighting behind the windmill then I suggest staying away from top 2 tiers.

I would think they are making fun of the DB trolls that think a bigger server gives FA second place (which we may or may not get this week, we will see – we’re putting up a fight and that’s all we can do).

Good point – if any JQ want to transfer to FA (natural match is TC/DB, sometimes we get SoS/Mag, sometimes we get JQ) then it would help balance out tier 2, keep you away from SOR/BG for the most part, and have much better fights than what you probably see now. SEA/EUR plz

TC has a major NA advantage over JQ, and when it came time to strike back at FA for the Yaks, you guys got to our Garrison – JQ’s zerg was in the circle while TC’s zerg was on the roof, taunting FA on the forums. If you were the better server, it would have been TC in the circle.

FA fights very hard and I have much respect for them even after a day, but numberswise this is not the matchup they really need to be in. You know what I’d like to to see is BG/JQ/TC.

This would be the 2-3-4 servers in total population, but I think all three have fairly similar fighting styles and seem to enjoy open field fighting a lot. I would expect a ton of skirmishing and relentless keep pushes (TC is tenacious in that respect…what JQ could do if everyone we had fought as hard). I think that would be more of a three way.

Not intended as disrespect to FA, you guys are fighting harder than you should be able to pound for pound that’s for sure. =)

We’re (FA) in a weird spot because coverage-wise we are way behind TC and DB, but way ahead of SoS and Mags. A few times we could scrap a second place finish in tier 2, but that wasn’t typical.

I think we’re going through some adjustments, guilds trying to tighten things up, so some militia are finding the best place for action/direction/wxp/helping out to be havoc, so you might see a bit more of that. That’s my experience anyway, I crafted some alts up to 80 and am trying to L2P. It seems like it’s breathing new life into my play experience for now.

2 hours in, when I hopped on, we had 2 queues and 1 outmanned map. We’re not a small server but the gaps between T1 and TC, TC and DB, DB and FA, FA and SoS/Mag seem to be pretty big drops in WvW coverage.

We’ll see how coverage works out but in theory I much prefer this match to what we had last week, or when we had DB/FA/Mag.

I enjoyed the attacks Mags put on our BL Monday evening (we held) and the attack we tried last night on Mags Bay (you held).

I knew what I was getting into the The Minstrel, but it was the precursor that dropped for me, so I went for it. I really think the skin is awesome, but the effects need to be overhauled. I know this has been brought up, and the reply is “they are working on it”, but it’s important to continue advocating for yourself, which I am doing. Please give this guy some love. You guys gave lots of love to all sorts of BLC/gem store/living story items, and that’s great, and the Minstrel should have a place in those plans as well. Please help some mesmers out

I don’t understand why people would continue to suicide to protect a supply camp. In 40 minutes, I made almost a stack of badges and it wasn’t even satisfying. No strategy, no skill, just suiciding with numbers as a safety cushion. It’s a supply camp.

No skill, but there was definitely strategy. We were at or near the outmanned buff for most of the fight, so we were holding your main force on the map at a supply camp with inferior numbers. We were hoping SoS would snag bay, but we’ll accept other supply camps and Dawn’s instead.
