I blew it off, but as my guild leader, he cared. He actually gave props to PYRO for trolling him so hard, and laughed about the potatoes. The hilarity that ensued, and the laughs we (and I am sure PYRO) received after were well worth it. He knew he was getting trolled, and hard, but his curiosity (Which kills cats, might I add) made him continue to see where it ended. I am sure, at some point, he facepalmed, but you have to have absolutely zero humor, if you couldn’t laugh at it. Well played PYRO, well played.

Yeah, then why is it that every time I show up at fight club I get ganked by every DARP and DFND there; and when i run into a group that doesnt, none of them can kill me.

And it doesnt stop at fight club, when I am roaming and am spotted I am automatically targeted and most of the time i can either get away or kill them if it was 1v2 — sometimes even 1v3’s

And I take it none of you were there when our group of 10 people wiped out an entire mag zerg at a camp, then 10 mins later again @ a vet. When you guys saw us again your zerg was too scared to approach a small group of 10 people.We dont need to “resort to killing people at fight club”

I fought a number of you guys 1v1 a few days ago was pretty fun. Only one I couldn’t beat out of the 5 I faced (i think it was 5) was that ele and that ended in a tie. I was glad you guys decided to 1v1 me though instead of all coming in at once, that would’ve sucked.

Honestly, as an ele, and talking to a few guild members. They believe that Anet is reverting back to the “holy trinity” and, thus pigeon-holing elementalist into a tank role with engineers and guardians. I already respec between PvE and WvW, because having a tanker build helps me survive fights while we are roaming.

Thank you Gaile for responding and the support team for correcting the bans so promptly.

Hope everyone else gets things sorted out.

I didn’t receive any phishing e-mail. I played WoW for 8+ years and know those emails well. I have a feeling there is an auto-ban implemented on some level, even if they don’t admit it. This is just too coincidental, and too many people have been effected to logically say anything otherwise.

I agree with this, Anet must of made a mistake and banned mass people. I asked about the phishing email as I just wanted to make sure that it happened to be coincidence I received it just a few hours prior to being banned.

No they got a phishing one a few hours before. I for one, did not get any phishing email, nor any email from NCSoft or Anet about it. Just “Perma-banned for in-game exploit” on the login screen.

We assume it has to do with transferring gold through the guild bank. They’ve been working on that lately and probably made something that auto-blocks people left and right for doing something like that.

But that is just a guess, not saying this is the actual case until some official response shows up. It’s just the only thing we could come up with.

Seriously? I have been doing this for guildies who needed funds or borrowed gold from me to buy something. I did it specifically because I didn’t want to be banned as a gold seller. I mean, seriously? This just makes it so I do not want to help anyone out, ever again.

I really don’t suggest you take it off. There has been a spree of hacked accounts, and honestly, this is the only way for you to safeguard your account. Just my opinion, though.

I would like a moderator to an answer this question. If I get another infraction again for using this word, so be it, because I do not understand the logic what-so-ever.

But I posted something that had the following sentence in it.

I received an infraction for this and the reason given was “We have a swear filter on this forum for a reason, please refrain from attempts to circumvent it.”. As I have said this for YEARS, so I do not actually swear in real life, I am quite perplexed at the infraction.

Here is the conundrum, if this is deemed circumventing a swear filter, than what would the acronym of “WTF” be? Isn’t this a form of circumventing as well? Yet, there are many posts with this as well.

Sorry, but this infraction seems kind of asinine in my opinion. Then again, this is my opinion. I just find it very hypocritical and would like a moderator’s opinion on the manner, as I just don’t find it logical in any manner.

I like tier 3 just wish WvW had some roamers/duellers around. DB doesn’t seem to bad but Yak’s you guys only Zerg? surely there are some roamers/duellers on your server.

The only way to combat zergs, are with zergs. We have roamers and duellers, BV being one of the roamers/duellers. This could be said about any of the servers. I have yet to see any real roamers, as when we go roaming, your server tends to call a huge number of reinforcements to deal with our roamers.

Complaining about nightcapping? Welcome to T3, we have been dealing with this for 3+ weeks already, and we haven’t even cried about it as much as you guys in the first 3 days. It’s a part of the game, adapt to it, whining doesn’t accomplish crap, but make everyone QQing about look like babies.

If its under warranty, I would really look into that. Your card should not have failed at all, by any means. But then again, you did put aftermarket cooling on it, and that usually negates the warranty. I have a sinking suspicion that your cooling failed at some point, which caused your card to go “KABOOM!”. And that, plain sucks.

On the upside, from the looks of it, you can get yourself a spiffy “new” 670 on ebay for 335. lol
