In all honesty I have been on Gandara since launch maybe even during beta and its a great server you will not regret the move.

Play where you will have the most fun. From what I am reading it not like you are bandwagoning you just want to play with your friends. so if that is what you want go ahead and transfer.

That is true but I try to knock those people back with my shield or flame thrower

I like the idea of a symbol for the guild raid leader that can make a a group greater than a 5 member party.

It will also help us not waste the targeting symbol so we can use it for its original function and not targeting our leader.

Also ideally we can assign a lot more symbols. So we can put targets on members that do specific functions and those have a different shape than the Dorito and maybe different colors as well. Not a lot just 2 or 3.

Nearly every class has some sort of way to finish players while preventing them from preventing your stomp…

Stab stomps, ele’s, guardians, necromancers, warriors
invun stomps, mesmers, guardian, ele
quick stomps, thief, mesmer, ranger, warrior, engineer

So you need to plan your 3v1 a bit better.

Or you can play a game with healers and never ‘down’ anyone to half health with the healer around.

Engi also can invulnerable stomp by using elixir S. toss elixir S can give you stability some of the time too.
Also putting blindness like smoke bomb or flame thrower 5 helps as well against downed players

Thanks for the fights last night bob, was good practice/different challenge… some very nice fights i watched them back on a stream and saw they were alot closer than i thought for most of them and the similarities, the fight outside SM was like ballet.

Those fights did go alot better than when it was 12 vs 34 haha earlier on before meeting but that is our mentality summed up, we fight no matter what odds

Annoyed at Anet, coz their updater has screwed me again. Won’t load the last 3% of the build so having to re-install for the 20th time since Lost Shores. Hope you all had fun without me, not too much fun mind!

I was always having problems with the installer when I had to download a large patch (Halloween, Lost shores) I always ended up downloading the entire game again.

I contacted support and go this answer that fixed my problem and I hope it helps you as well

At this time, I would like you to try an alternative method of downloading Guild Wars 2. What this will do is bypass the installation of Guild Wars 2 and just force the download. The downside to this is that Guild Wars 2 isn’t technically “installed” to your computer. That means to remove it, you just delete the folder instead of using “Add/remove” or “Programs” in control panel. To do this:

1. Locate the file “GW2setup.exe” and copy it.

2. Navigate to a new folder like C:\Guild Wars 2 and place “GW2setup.exe” in this folder.

3. Rename “GW2setup.exe” to “GW2.exe”

4. Right-click on “GW2.exe” and select “Create Shortcut.”

5. Rename this shortcut to “Guild Wars 2 Port Test.”

6. Right-click on this shortcut and select “Properties.”

7. Edit the “Target” line to include /clientport 80 at the end.

Note: Please make sure /clientport 80 is outside of the quotes

Correctly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe” /clientport 80
Incorrectly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe /clientport 80”

8. Once completed, click “Ok” to save your changes.

If you get an error trying to save, your target line may not have the correct format. Please try step 7 again.

9. Double click “Guild Wars 2 Port Test” and try connecting again.

he isn’t a spy and will be missed this week. He said he will even stop representing SN so people will not get suspicious of him.

He killed me at a camp in AR Borderland earlier when a bunch of you Pikens came along with him to take the camp from us.

I am in SN as well and We don’t approve of underhanded behavior

If your on a ALT character… for the first time you enter a zone you have to go through the portals in spawn and cannot waypoint

However if you have already unlocked waypoint etc and this has happend to you… i’ve known it happen to a few people before and only way to temporary fix it is relogging… (which is a bit poor in primetime with the que’s etc not being able to respawn) Hope that helps

Missing waypoint in the Gandara spawn on PS borderland.
I have been having this problem since yesterday when a bunch of us got booted out of Gandara (no idea if it did the same to the other servers )

The odd thing is I seem to be the only one in my guild that I know off which has this problem, So I am asking here if anyone else in any server experienced this so that I can put as much information in the bug report.

Love this thread, or more accurately this tale of injustice against my fellow Asuran. :p

They should not ban it, since It is the only way I give the commanders in my guild any of golems or trebs I happen to have. They need it more than I do. I just like the keep the rest to siege which is what I usually need.

last night a bunch of Gandara players (me included) followed a commander to try to counter the breakout event (I think it was an MS event) in our BL.

We charged in tried to fight the commander guy in between being targeted by the siege.

At first I thought maybe we can kill the commander and see if he drops good loot. Then he started hitting me.
That guy 2 shotted people lol.
I avoided being killed by the boss but I fell to the enemy.
It was hilarious.
Though the NPC commander may be a bit OP.

I salute the 3 or 4 thieves (with you Necro friend, again I think they are from MS) running around the north of Gandara BL who dressed exactly alike in red partly CoF armor mistook you for 1 mesmer at frist.

There were a lot of other things to fix on the Engi not just the sigils. I would like to see them be of more use in WvW.

The grenade nerf has now removed grenades from my skill bar unless I am defending or maybe attacking a wall.

I will still play my Engi because its my favorite class, but I am also leveling a warrior.

Just saw XxX in action (I think it was at Hills in AM BL) you guys are amazingly coordinated.
Instead of crashing into them like a rockslide you wear them down like waves on the beach with your movements.

I just tried to craft a “rare” grey dye last night only to get a common I already have.

there was no point selling it since I can never recoup the cost of the coriander seeds I bought from the TP so I just gave it to a guildie.

I don’t think I will craft dye again, which is sad since I think it would be fun to do.

Even if I get a more asura skins on my kits on my asura engi. That would be amazing

This is so incredibly frustrating. 2 hours wasted . I was doing the event and got disconnected only managed to log back in a few minutes ago only to find the event over and people posting their loot on reddit.

I would like my loot arenanet and not to have the next event be as frustrating as this one.

I don’t think the new players this weekend are getting a good impression of gw2 from this event.

I love this game I know you can do quality stuff, but I am sorry to say that I did not enjoy lost shores.

I have been on Gandara since the later stages of Beta and have enjoyed my time there. I spent a large majority of my time to 80 in WvW because its fun.

I recognize a few of the posters here from the “battlefield” . Hail fellow Gandarans! :p

Even though our current 2 opponents have teamed up against us we have not given up. And that is what I like about my server.
