Point is, attacking fully upgraded, supplied and sieged up hills would not be just a shot. And I do not want to spend entire evening on siegewars. The idea of massive golem rush was also never appealing to me, I really rarely use them.

Sooo, we have blobbing, doubleteaming and siegewars :P What is missing from the checklist for a good matchup thread?

We started an open mic because we were tired of everybody running away and hiding behind their walls. It was a nice reset but it’s starting to get tiresome. Even then, we most of the time had equal numbers against uw and rof.
Small hint: you could at least start the breakout events on each others borderlands or take a camp…

Thing is, your open mic is exactly what caused us to “hide behind walls”. We had even numbers maybe for like 1-2h (and RoF were running in 2 groups except when we had to push you out of bay). Like I mentioned before, most of the evening we had outnumbered buff on. We were more than happy to fight HT couple times, but sorry, I’m not gonna charge with 20-25 into 60+ guild blob…

And we went UW BL at the start. We met UW sitting in T3 keeps on ACs. We chose to have fun, nothing personal.

We wouldn’t blob up with other guilds if not for 60+ FURY/RAGE megazord that was attacking bay. Most of the evening we were running on our own, except for said keep defense, but what do you expect, when you attack a keep with such massive amount of people?

Why another week without WvW?

This matchup is way more fun then I thought it will be at the start

Meeting FURY was a very painful experience, you guys destroyed us couple times :P

Obviously, I couldn’t keep track of all TaGgies, but every time we came, and you were in camp, you were spreading and running (which is understandable as you were 3-4 tops), sometimes also ordering upgrades at last moment and setting supply traps. Not really a definition of a fight for me.

I am not telling that you didn’t do a good job defending hills. You did a bloody good job. I just can’t imagine that running supplies to build siege for 5 hours can be fun :P but if you enjoy it, good for you.

Fun reset Thank you WBC, TEO and FRS from GH ansd AA and DEX from UW for a lot of fun fights, we especially enjoyed the 3 way in Astralholme, it was epic, before some UW decided to build an AC.

GuM, you officialy made it to the top of my list of most boring guilds to face (beating Tz from Arborstone, which was a tough thing to do). We want to fight you, not your ACs and supply traps…

I am really afraid that once UW keeps turn T3, there will be even more AC-hugging :/

I can confirm that – dova, RCT and EO are all on the FR, and I have yet to see any of them outside of blob

Soooo, if we don’t have full map stacked on 1 commander, we are not supposed to be there? Keep in mind that not everyone likes to play the way you do, I prefer fights without skill lag and stuff. Next time try to engage us with somewhat more even numbers, not at least twice ours. We will be more than happy to fight you in open field, not having to use choke point due to your sheer numbers.

PS. We had great fun there – for me it is the best reason to do WvW

Aye, the main problem with FR are their insane numbers – it looks like most of Arborstone guilds transferred there. At least they drop a lot of loot TaG had a lot of fun fighting french zergs all over EB yesterday evening, too bad that it took DL 3 or 4 hours to realize that when FR are at our corner with their zergball, they can hit FR corner, not only come to our every time…

Was quite the interesting night, started ofkittenda boring, but managed some great fights later on in RoF borderland. Thanks for the great fun! Was DEX the only group from UW there? kinda squeezed in between the larger forces of Gandara and RoF? You seemed to be doing very well for such a small group

Was an epic struggle in the area close to NW camp where the minotaurs spawn. That fight lasted forever

I think there was also AA from UW at one point. And the fight in front of Vale was so much fun that we lost hills because of this :P

Lol, you can take out acs in lord room without any cheats. Try using AC line from WXP abilities to get bigger aoe range

I will repeat it again, no windowed more or any kind of exploit was used.

Could you please include screenshots of this “zoomhacks” pls. I was personally manning arrowcarts at WCR and I can assure you there were no zoom hacks involved. If you mean ACs behind the gate, they are perfectly destroyable if you put AC at gate.

If you think that it was a zoomhack, it shows that you don’t know enough about this game…

This bug has been in game for a loooong time, there is easy workaround tho. Talk to the workers, they will resume the upgrade. The progress will not be shown, but it will eventually finish.

Uhmmm, now I feel a bit embarrassed for my server. Okay, RoF nightcapped, it happens, but really no need to chest thump about it. Only thing that excuses OP a bit is fact that we were badly outmanned during weekend and DL wreen’t going below +300 PPT, but I still don’t see the point in posting that on forums…

Wrong, we downgraded T3 DL bay as well, I also see a blue SM in EB ^.^

It looks like after Friday-Saturday DL domination, the matchup more or less evened out ( at least between DL and RoF), which gives hopes for good fights in the week.

Yesterday TaG started our raid a bit late, but we had blast anyway thanks for all the fights Drakkars. But sheesh, you love siege so much, creeping with ACs when you already outnumber us vastly.

Also, thanks for the /bows and /salutes when you finally overrun us in your garri after really awesome, long fight, we appreciate it

That was fun for us, I hope for you too. Unfortunately, there is a lack of commanders on kitten we often have to lead on a map instead of running alone.

I know that problem too well, yesterday in EB we had no commander most of the time, so quite a few people were trying to follow us, even tho we were running without blue pin :/

LMAO… I have not seen more than 10 RiOT in wvw at the same time all week… wish they would tell me when they are going to ‘blob’. Most of the time we are running solo, duel, or in groups of 5.

If I am counting correctly, we have exactly 3 Americans tha do WvW :P It was a bunch of crazy ppl pulling an all nighter ^.^ I went to bed on 5am on that day

Two days into new matchup, finally vs servers close to us in rating, and I can see how much these 2 weeks vs Gandara helped my guild to improve. Once again, thank you TDA, XxX, JDGE, Dius, BT (sorry if I missed any) for all the fun fights – it definitely made us better team

I never said it. I just explained the source of QQ ^.^

And I know Gandara has a lot of roaming guild groups, and I really enjoyed fighting them this week (except YaK, whom I have yet to see with less then 30 ppl…)

Thing is, our guilds can find fights and have fun, it’s much worse for our PUGs.

Aside from the “GG” posts for guild battles, lots of QQ’ing in this thread. More than the last couple weeks.

Well, many ppl in RoF are tired and annoyed with matchups we get – out of 5 random ones, we had exactly 1 balanced, vs RoS and WSR. Rest of them wre either vs significantly bigger servers or vs FoW and Vabbi…

Thanks to DSB and TaG for the interesting evening. Sadly you were the only people to fight on the map as far as I could tell, so once more Gandara guilds got into the borderland it basically became a hunt of who can find you first for a fight. We don’t generally want to gang up on enemy guilds, but at times it happens because we’re eager for action. Glad to see you guys had a good evening though, we had some nice theory crafting going on in TS after wiping, which is indicative of a fun night.

Yes, I noticed that you went much more condition heavy/boon removal, and it worked, so it was good theorycrafting

Unfortunately, a lot of RoF ppl were back in PvE, checking out new content (and I can’t really blame them for that, given the circumstances) so I think we were outmanned in all the maps ( I didn’t check RoF bl, but we couldn’t move past spawn towers there). Only thing that makes me sad is that we had a queue when it was vs FoW and Vabbi…

Thanks for fights TDA, DSV and in the end Dius. It was fun until too many groups at once wanted to get our attention. Too bad that we couldn’t have some proper fights when you were waiting at south, but we had many YaKs coming from north >.< Looks like gandara decided to wipe every last RoF keep today :/

Ah yes, the buffed champ was my bad :P I so trusted MOS map (which was showing no timer) that I didn’t check the npc itself

We were around 10 at this point, can’t eactly remember. At our first push into the camp I think we were more, we took out a ballista and then more gandarans kicked in (I don’t think it was some other group than your guild). After we respawned, you already had another ballista and more then enough ppl there

Maybe next time don’t build ballista when you outman us anyway >.<

I must say I was pretty disappointed with gandarans in DL border today evening. XxX at bay, we decided to give you a fight, although we could just build silly ACs, even tho we knew there is much chance you’ll beat us. The laughs weren’t nice at all. Same goes to gandarans that zerged us down in lord room of given bay.

/salute to JDGE for our foght in EB, we outnumbered you a bit, but it was you who wanted to bite our tail :P

Also, I think it was first time in this matchup, when I saw DL group bigger than 5 and smaller than 50 :P

Random guild trip to acquire quaggan tonic supply ended up in quaggan raid in FoW BL. We had a lot of fun today and no kittens were given :P

But beware FoW, if you hit quaggan too many times, he might get angry…

Is the vacation paid?

MMMh Gandara BL was really frustrating today, I couldn’t find any of these 15 man guilds… Cheers to XxX and YARR, who were running on their own, (and XxX mauled us badly) rest was 40-50+, both Gandara nad MS :/

I can agree that there was no blobbing in MSBL. We had a lot of fun holding our corner, including hills, while outmanned 80% of the time

Gandara, you decided to attack hills in worst possible moment for us, when our TS server broke and we were all somewhat confused :P

And we finally lost it to 30-40 Miller zerg with golems, when we were down t 5 on 5am (they still had to use 9g worth golems to kick us out, so it was a fair deal)

The best fights we had were definitely busting 40ish MS in Bluwater with our 20 (we were soooo dissappointed noone was recording when it finished) and stealing Bay, when Gandara was attacking it.
