Is it the fact that you have nothing in EB? Or that you’re struggling to hold your own BL?
No DH to blame this time ladies. I’m sure things will change during NA times, and things will change even more when everyone realizes that FC is sitting pretty minding their own business with pretty red BL’s all night. But you have to realize, there’s been alot said between Ioj & DR. So lets cash in on it and see if actions speak louder than words. No “triple our population” server here now. So let’s see how it pans out.

Well, you are definitely not the same IoJ we were facing in T6 weeks or months ago. Last time I checked, you can stay even with beloved DH on scores not only in your powerful Oceanic time slot. (Any SF wanna commet on this?)
I think we are pretty the same DR weeks or months ago. We got like… 2 guilds transfered to DR recently? VP, then DRev after VP? Plus, eh, a buncha… well, maybe not that many but at least quite some, PvE’ers visit WvW lately. (Which is okay and nice, and thank them for poking in.)
I’m a nobody in DR, but may I suggest our people to have more fun in IoJ BL instead of FC BL in the following week? At least, let’s give it a try, please? I know and learned that IoJ and NSP weren’t and aren’t reasonable on this tho…… Nevertheless, people can always ignore mini me (eh), and just have fun in their own ways. I’m totally okay with that!
And dear IoJ, you’re not that bad in my experiences, for your people waving and dancing with me on the roof of the choke at SW camp. You got about 10 people there then, and I was alone by myself. I didn’t have any moments like that with DH or GoM.
This I do not agree with …… “nothing but bad pvpers”.
I have fought some really good players from both GoM and DR, Won some and lost some. But they have some really good players. In fact wanted to give a shout out to the VP thief I fought yesterday at the ruins in GoM BL (I think). Fought for what seemed like forever, finally got downed (Friggin’ Ranger Heal steal, lol), then a polite bow. Class act, I do the same.
Ok I should have said it better..But majority of gom are bad in pvp..ive seen some good ones also. Point I was trying to make was during tkitten no seige bug, Gom kept getting whiped everywhere. Now that seige is back…they r back to trebbing Anz 24/7, trebbing our keep or using golems which fail everytime cause they dont bother to take out oil.
To gom: Dont rely heavily on seige…maybe this is why you are one of the low servers.
And yet…GoM is still winning and has been doing quite well without heavily relying on siege. But, if it makes the pain of watching a server where, as you put it a “…majority of gom are bad in pvp…” easier to deal with…please continue with your dialogue.
Not sure if serious… Your winning because you have more people/better coverage by a pretty wide margin… but go ahead and keep thinking its all skill first time you hit a larger wvw population server a large percentage of your numbers will melt away and then you will see what your made of.
Granted we have a larger coverage, but i’ve not seen a massively higher level of skill from NSP or DR. Certain guilds eg. VP are excellent but i honestly dont see that much of a difference between pugs on any of our servers. We will face a challenge if we manage to get to a higher tier, but i highly doubt our numbers will melt away…
i was running untagged a few days ago with a bunch of pugs, we ran into a group of DR the same size (from what i could tell all pugs with no tag). Needless to say it was a close fight, the pugs went down quickly to the 2/3 superior players in each group leaving them fighting. Certainly some players where more skilled than others, but the average levels between the 3 servers isn’t big enough for us to contrast.
No, we’re not winning from skill, but each server is better at something else. I feel in GoMs case its attacking, even outnumbered in T8 we used to cap more towers, not hold them but cap them.
Tl;DR
Stop comparing skill level with points, with the number inbalance its not fair. But don’t claim that some servers have a higher skill on average, pugs are pugs at the end of the day.

Props to NSP [SPCA] warrior(?) with legendary weapon and tons of boon minutes ago in SW of DR BL.
I’m that annoying ranger, or maybe just some kitten kitten seems really kitten ing you off, downed by you several times. Others, including the thief showing up later and the warrior later duelling you, are just people in my party tonight following or helping me. We just came back from GoM BL to clean ours, taking especially red camps there. The thief just saw my status, so he came to help from the other side of the map.
At first I was just trying to be annoying because of yesterday’s event. I, and we, didn’t /laugh or say anything bad about you in party chat. I saluted you after the thief downed you. And later your 2nd round with the thief, I didn’t mean to interrupt your fight, just another NSP mesmer jumped in. However, it seems that you are really mad at me.
I hope you do enjoy the fights with those two party members, the warrior and the thief. We, including themselves, all think that they have a good fight with you before others jumped in. (might be my bad due to what we did earlier to you)
Your fights with them are really good and very fun fights.

On a side note, nice mini zerg [VP] was running on our GoM BL last night. Whoever that thief was who kept jumping me, I want to give this word of advice. Just stay with your zerg when you see me. You aren’t in Tievo’s league so you are only going to get hurt trying to gank me.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I feel you are using the word “zerg” as a derogatory term in this particular instance?
You must be one of those roamer types that think a group of 10 is a zerg. I think that was the strike team out practicing
^ Their group of 9 or 10 are responsible for sieging up inner Bay in GoM BL, coordinating allies and organizing counter attack from Bay to SW Garrison, building a ram in lord’s room (yup.) and playing fireworks (VP really love it xD ) at GoM’s NW tower.

Thing is we dont target, we just kill them all.
I think there’s a word for this thing, a collective term.
So unless your sitting on your hill/citadel your pretty much screwed. Though I see youve figured that out already.
I’m just looking for some fun, I’m not even a gamer. All I want is a good laugh with and from people now I know, and the grin on our face when we do something stupid, funny or extraordinary. Something like sieging up GoM’s inner Hills with another DR comrade not from a major or in the same guild, and thus help our group to hold three insane waves of your attack. No one told us to, and prob only 3 people knew about it.
I’ve learned some lessons since day 1 being a member of DR in WvW, and finally had some GW2 friends to add to the empty in-game contacts. I think that recently I’m so happliy screwed.

@Playard /salute Nice to meet one of the DR night crew. I thought all we had were NPCs at that hour.
Uh, I’m just a regular krewe, happened to stay longer this week, having no real life, feeling lonely so being talkative.
As for the night-time defense when Devona rests, I believe we have recently outsourced the job of patrolling and defensing our southern borderland to GoM. They have a decent group of thieves doing a very good job! I think NSP would highly recommend them, too.
@Crixus – When that Garrison went down it brought the morale up in our forces. DDLG ran bounties and rush last night, then went to GOM, and we were happily flipping their map when we felt a bit guilty about all the camps and 3 towers in enemy hands on DRBL. So we pulled off and went on D. Glad you guys could get something down out there.
I really want to be NSP’s friend, standing together to fight the zombie army in EB! Oh, wait! I won’t fight the zombie army unless I’m Will Smith in “I Am Legend” or Milla Jovovich in “Resident Evil”.
However, it seems that everyone involved here is having fun yesterday! Good game!
Good times in GoM BL. Thanks for the fights it was a good guild night for us! First of what I hope will be many. Tried to get Bay from you guys but way too many of you guys for our little group. Had to leave to go and recap a few things at our borderland and by that time couldn’t get enough of us together to roam around again, but was a blast while we were there! Also had a great time running around with a few SPCA fighting on the middle island in GoM as well later on. Props to RISE and FGJ. Good fights with you guys.
Late last night, defeneded homeland, helped our small (really small!) homeland security team to take back almost everything once around maybe 12am PST. An engi and I retake our NW camp right before GoM’s 5-man force came, we were chased by, probably mad, GoM all the way from NW camp to our Garrison, haha!
Went to GoM BL with the engi for fun, distraction, and outmanned buff! Got killed by SPCA, KOTR, and XOXO several times there. Good borderland defense, NSP! Oh wait! It’s actually GoM BL!!!!!
Switched to NSP BL later, no outmanned buff there , my party of two teamed up with another party of two. Joined some enemies’ “party” at SS camp and stole it. At NSP’s SE camp, killed some… well, right, GoM there. We stole maybe another two camps from GoM or NSP there in NSP BL later. Then our party of four got bored and camped NSP’s NN camp for… maybe 10-15mins ._. (I was against it, I swear to Zommoros, but peer pressure, you know…) Downed some upleveled ranger and other players several times there, even with a small portal bomb. (Sorry! Can’t help it!)
The highlight of the night was after we left NN camp and took NW camp, our party of four met a NSP ranger on the way to W sentry. My people were cool this time, and so was she. I stood in front of the RED ranger, and invited her to the party. She told us that some NSP complained earlier in map chat about DR, I quote, “knucklehead” at north. Our mesmer asked her for a date duel, and she accepted. During the fight, they somehow provoked the minotaurs nearby. The rest of us were then all busy killing NPC mobs. 3-5 NSP capped their NW camp later ran into us, but they peacefully detoured a bit and left without saying a word in NSP map chat, according to our new NSP friend.
I had a rather good dream last night. XD
PS. I was actually giving a tour to Kat the ranger in and not in the picture. We got killed twice or thrice in GoM BL, and she prob headed back to PvE. Well, thanks for the tree, anyway.
Oh, and yesterday early afternoon, Pacific time. My party of 4, consisting 3 ranger guildies, had some fun at NE tower in GoM BL. q:
We decided to ninja (kinda) NE tower for some laugh with our mini zerg – 1 mesmer, 1.5 people (3 rangers, 2 of them highly-upleveled) and 3 pets. The plan was to set up one superior cata at the secret spot and one regular ram at door before we triggered the alarm. If failed, we would sacrifice ourselves at the door with the ram, and come back later!
We took out E sentry together, then I went to NE tower directly. The rest of us went to take NE camp. (hate that 2/5mins siege blueprints despawn timer after patch, no QoL for solo or small group siegers) I placed one superior cata at the sneaky spot of NE tower after my party successfully took NE camp and ran up to me. I and later following by my guild cmdr/admin (LOL!) fell off the cliff near NE tower thus had to run all the way back to NE from our SW spawn.
Some DR must find that shiny green dot at GoM’s NE tower, so people came by to help finishing that cata before we actually asked for help. I put down the decoy ram, and we started banging the door and the wall. Hilariously, the regular ram was doing better than the superior cata. Someone volunteered to contest GoM’s Garrison twice for us (thank you!!!) The door was 30% or something, the wall was 40%, then I died before my pet died at Garrison’s NE gate.
I think GoM took our ram out before we ramed the door down, but eventually we brought the wall down, my party went in and fought there when I ran back to NE, eh, again, from SW spawn. We got wiped right before I made it to NE tower. Still fun tho.
Well now consider this. If the daughter of the Choo-Choo’s marry’s the son of the Chugga-Chuggas, would the resultant name be Chugga-Chugga-Choo-Choo, or would it be Choo-Choo-Chugga-Chugga? I am sorry my train of thought is going a bit astray.

The attached screenshot is from last night, 21:20 PST / 00:20 EST, around the time that our NSP friend (or foe?) arguing about double-teaming here. We didn’t have enough people to retake our camps, so all I can do is took that E sentry and went to NSP BL asking for help. (I saw on the map that our people there were filpping some, few, NSP camps, and they didn’t do a good job like GoM [Worm] and [Ash] or NSP [BC] do. So, no worries there, NSP! )
When I came back to homeland, Bay outer south was breached by GoM, maybe 10 or even more of them. I joined the fight in the middle of the process in front of the inner center gate, we hold and pushed them out. While some of us were still dealing with SW GoM force and some just started fixing Bay’s south gate, NSP with 3 golems already breached Hills south then. (excuse me, how do you spell “da-ball team in” here?) I ran to Hills from Garrison, and Everthere from [VP] was behind me. We two decided to siege up Hills lord’s room first for we not knowing if we got enough hands to hold NSP at inner center gate of Hills then. There were definitely 10-15+ NSP there at our Hills.
When we were building ACs and ballista in lord’s room, our people managed to bring down all NSP’s golem. We pushed RED NSP (This week, NSP is red, GoM is blue. NSP is red, GoM is blue. NSP is red, GoM is blue…) out. I helped another DDLG or OBS member to finish repairing Hills south gate, cannons and the oil. At that moment, our lovely dear friend GoM had strated trebbing Bay from SW tower for a while…

Everthere went to CoF to make some money last night. We got our Garrison, NE and NW tower upgrading and fortifying before he left for CoF. When he came back, we lost SW, NW, and NN camp, plus the half-way fortifying NW tower to GoM… and we didn’t have enough people to retake even one of the camps.
Also, last time I checked the map of EB, GoM was overwhelming there. BLUE got all the RED territory. Green barely hold our part intact, lost Rogue(?) camp to GoM at that time. Superior gameplay, good game.
