As seen from above video there seems to be a problem with the ships terrain, Skills from Elementalist & Aggro’ing mobs Out Of Sight (From below):

- If I am correct, Rotbeard spawns near the chest (underneath me from where I was fighting him)

- Aggro’d Rotbeard before the player ran past me during the beginning of the video

- during the first part of combat, Ring Of Fire Aggros Captain rotbeard from UNDERNEATH me, which either means RoF either fell through the terrain or is mirrored underneath the terrain and will aggro mobs

- Every step of the way I was fighting Rotbeard (on upper level as seen) mobs from underneath & from all the sides of the ship somehow aggro’d onto me, proving to be an annoyance

- Churning Earth, hit & aggro’d a mob below me as well as hitting my current target, leading me to believe of a Terrain bug (AoEs looking for solid terrain?) or the Terrain is mirroring my AoEs, you can see the mob underneath me in the video

- Even when not casting spells I am still aggro’ing (Spawned) mobs from below me

TL:DR – From where I was fighting rotbeard the Terrain seemed to not be a “Solid” terrain thus AoEs and general movement Aggro’ing mobs from below deck (Middle deck wasn’t solid Terrain as should be?). Not sure if this has been posted before, but It is mildly annoying when you aggro OOS (out Of Sight).

Reproduce – Follow Video for reproducing steps, take Elementalist D/D, Ring of Fire first 2 mobs beside door.

at least I hope this is a bug (First time in over 1000 hours I went up against Rotbeard…lol) but to me it seemed to be a bug that they aggro’d through terrain and OOS

Does not mean we never roll around in zergs, it means we rarely need to zerg but if need be we will zerg to take back out borderland (Considering SF can field 60+ Member zergs..and yes this has happened…Skill Lag, Lag & Screen freeze @Woodhaven due to a massive SF zerg…not really nice), Like every other server there will be 1 or 2 zergs but never enough zergs to compete with being outnumbered, so we rely on other things that we have learned through our freefall which we will teach to our new players and constantly learn them (all the more reason to transfer to ET..for more fun ofc).

again, I did not say that we NEVER run in zergs, I said “Most of the time” which is a totally different meaning as you are taking it out of context.

Of course, players become inactive as quite frankly there is very little to do at level 80 and 7 months nothing interesting for wvw in a patch (tbh…not holding my breath for the march update…may as well have the wait and see attitude until it hits) which diminishes numbers on all servers (add new competition for a net).

Yes, we do have an alliance on the server and is slowly adding more guilds to it each week.

Hopefully march update brings more players back, not just for our server but all servers.

Score update, for those that care about the score more than the fun

edit: before someone goes “Ohhh y u no in battle u so bleh” I just logged in, enter WvW, take screenshot, crash again, Rage and kick pc………….though not the PCs fault that the game crashes alot more since feb patch…I need one of those stress toy things that you squeeze…will do less damage XD but meh..computer is being upgraded slowly anyway, and the crap thats inside it with the dust bunnies is getting tosed when they get replaced :P

the reason for so many uplevelled toons in WvW is because when you have done PvE 2-6 times already, It gets boring, grindy & hard to level and is more slower than WvW, plus the karma you get from WvW will be enough to get full exotics by the time you hit 80 = Full exotics for free (Either by karma or badges)

On all 3 sides there will be alot of uplevelled toons, people want to try out new classes & see whats what as well as faster levelling.

you could also say what I just said for your server having so many uplevelled toons, but the fact is, people want to try out new things (7 months..and not nearly enough to do at level 80) on all sides, we will all be here for a while, why not level while killing.

You know you had as much numbers as we had? and you were defending the easiest tower there is to defend?

That tower allows you to defend every destructible gate/wall with unhittable siege. So with equal numbers all you could do is defend 1 tower while we capped your whole BL, dont tap on each others back on something that’s not even close to an accomplishement.

I also called your golem sites as bait and that’s why i soloed the 2 first and an other commander soloed the 3rd, nobody really cared.

If you called bait..then why get lured? lol

First 2 golem sites was not soloed..10 of you guys went out (lured) and destroyed them while we killed you..

and NO, we did not outnumber you one bit nor was the fight close to equal, Overtime though I guess both sides started losing interest.

Why?

Why come to ET? Well why not, we want to re-build the server to its former glory (Without the History of what happened, albeit I didn’t play the game back then, but History is History and shall stay in the past) and by former glory I don’t mean a T1 Server, what I mean is actually rebuilding the server population for PvE/WvW with glory, Loyalty and have a sense of achievement.

We have loyalty on our server (In some cases, Loyalty is frowned upon, but not on this server) we fight side by side and with grace, we do not jump on dead corpses of our enemies (Even if we got outnumbered) and we do not condone of this either, of course like all servers there may be some people that do it, if we catch them, we will talk to them (I have personally done this once or twice when I first entered WvW with all white/green gear, looking back I was new back then but at the same time I think to myself why I done it, now I have learned a lot in WvW and I now respect my enemies after every fight I /bow)), we fight our enemies with loyalty and respect, After all they are players like us who enjoy playing the game.

Q: With the chest buff that happened with feb patch, do you hit overflow on maps?
A: Yes, We often hit overflows for dragon events & behemoth due to our guesters’ on Alts (I don’t mind guesters’ btw..Actually I love guesters’, they give our population that much needed BOOM!..But it does get annoying when ½ your server is in an overflow…and then you miss the event)

Q: Will ET be stuck in T8 for a while?
A: Due to the Glicko rating system, Yes we will be here for a while, but while we are here it is an opportunity to learn new things & help our server.

Q: Guild Missions?
A: We have several guilds with Guild Missions already researched and activated, We also have alot of small-Medium guilds working on researching & unlocking guild missions (With the march patch also giving “Guild Training Missions” That give you 3k influence, unlocking these on smaller guilds should be easier)

We are united as one, small, medium, Large & Gigantic Guilds are working together as one family, one server and in conjunction with each other.

• Great Commanders
In WvW we have great commanders and coordinate very well with others in that borderland, if you ask them a question they will answer it politely and they will not talk trash to you for asking them questions.

• Battlefield & our Commanders
Our commanders know the battlefield very well and have “Earned” their rank, they know how to coordinate with each other and the players around them, making ET a deadly bunch, and they are great commanders who have stuck with the server through the months.

• Respecting our commanders
The server as a whole respects our commanders with the respect they deserve, and welcomes new commanders with respect.

• Tactics, Skill & ET
ET rarely run around as a mindless zerg, and instead we use our tactics we have learned over the months to Kill and capture, supply camps/towers/keeps etc. (I’m not saying our tactics are superior, but it is different and works wonders…and using tactics is far superior than running mindless zergs IMO, Zergs become old and boring)

• Outnumbered? No matter
A lot of the time, our fights have been outnumbered, yet we still put up 1 hell of a fight (I am sure some of the servers we have went up against can vouch for this also) in some, if not most, cases we have pushed back several zergs’ to defend our tower/keep with very little man-power needed.
This also makes for great training/Education on how to fight out-numbered and do so using tactics, we have excellent commanders who communicate with everyone on the defensive & Offensive.

• Weekly Training Exercises
This is something that will be discussed in an upcoming meeting with the whole of Eredon Terrace, I want these to be held on a Friday before reset happens (5 hours before so we can have 5 hours of learning new things each week and put it to test during reset) But as I said this is on the priority list that will be discussed during our meeting.

• Queue Time? What…
No queue Time (Waiting Time) to enter a Borderland so you can enter quickly and start earning your badges/kills among helping out the server as quick as possible.

• Eredon Terrace Teamspeak
We are now using Teamspeak (Kindly donated by FoE) in order to get the information you must be a member of Eredon Terrace & be registered on http://www.eredonterrace.enjin.com/home in order to see the announcement.

• ET & WvWvW
The server does not stress about losing, We actually do not care if we win or lose, We do WvWvW for what it was supposed to be, FUN, as long as you have fun who cares if you lose or win? It is a game after all and not a tournament (I actually find lower tier fights to be much more fun than higher tier fights, no offense intended to higher tiers)

WvWvW was created for fun and enjoyment, not needed to win.

- As expected, after fighting the same server for 3 months, it has taken it’s toll on some of our members (Burn Out) and our server needs some help with getting back on top of our game, and help defend our server.

What can WE do for you?

• High Activity
We have High activity in PvE zones so you will not be “questing” alone.

• Higher PvE population
Having a Higher PvE population (we already have a high amount, but we would like more) will also help out the whole server and will get people geared up faster / Levelled faster and more events completed in a period of time as well as more parties for several dungeons so you can complete story/all paths in a matter of moments.

• Dungeons
A lot of dungeon runs are happening every day, there is never 1 day without a LFM/LFG (Although, a lot more people are using GW2lfg website due to a lack of LFG Finder in Guild Wars 2, and going to this website makes lfg’ing/lfm’ing a lot quicker than usual, We hope Arenanet implements a Dungeon Finder soon, it is needed in such a large-scale MMO and can bring the games community as a whole a lot more closer together and meet new friends)

• Friendly
We have a very friendly community, if you ask for help anywhere, you will get it, even if that question is so obvious, people will tell you, they will not troll or argue with you.

• WvW Mindset
Upon entering WvW you will see Eredon Terrace transform, into 1 spirit, 1 mind, 1 Sword into an Invaders Chest [Translation = we have good communication with the whole BL/EB (as well as communicating from 1 BL to another) and will fight as hard as we can, Every Day, Every Night.)

• Guilds
We have several big guilds all working together with smaller guilds also, so if you bring your Guild over to ET you will get a warm friendly welcome (Add on top of that people willing to help out your guild with Influence points for upgrades)

@rat – you do realise i wasn’t whining in that and making an observation…2hours of constant attacks on our BL from both sides while your BL had no red and FC had no green for 2hours or a single contest raised eyebrows….

Either way i enjoyed it last night, killing both sides and….sadly RTLing off cliffs again (nerf cliffs)

So no whining for me, i was fighting when posting that btw (multitasking ftw)

I never said anything about that just by the time I logged in there were multi-colors on all the BL’s and eventually our’s went all blue and you guys took SM from us for a while too.

@Alchemist – so you know how our server works and how much commitment we put in? I think not.
We work day & night, even become a night crew for a day or two missing that precious sleep, and we work well together.
In fact, we are taking these opportunities to train our newer WvW members on certain things like siege placement, how to know your limit etc.

so do not give us that “Commitment Issue” or “L2P |issue” BS, it only makes yourself look bad as you have no Idea how our server works.

I’ve solo’d/duo’d alot of zergs (the most memoriable one I can remember was when fighting Kaineng, Duo’d a 30+ zerg with a lovely fellow member from [TAC] by my side…then 40 more kaineng came for reinforcements and he sacrificed himself to save me xD that was my most memoriable duo, after that I took a break from WvW to do some PvE stuff)

and that was before the RTL nerf…like seriously, I cannot get used to it still being on CD when i swap back to air i’m like “WTF Y U NO WOR….oh….”

there have been moments with SF also, but nothing memoriable..they just dropped faster than usual (80s full exotics as well) and a few stalemates with several KING members.

calling it a L2P |issue is just stupid, as it is not a L2P |issue.

an L2P |issue is when you whine about dying to a certain class and ask for a nerf and then attempt to back up your nerf and how you died.

being outnumbered is NOT an L2P |issue, this is server imbalance issue (SII)

edit: and no…………I can’t do videos in WvW atm simply due to culling & having an AMD cpu (6yrs old) (general PvE & Jps…(not sPvP lol) I can do with ease as long as i avoid dragons when recording….and overflows ;\)
big battles I get less than 10FPS, SM well……………………………………………………….1-2FPS during reset with skill lag & high ping (Scotland>NA server + ISP being rubbish = HIGH Ping)

however I do plan upgrading the rest of the PC soon (already have a good card HD6670…considering my mobo is a PCIe 1.xa….lol) but its a matter of money for me atm, bills, food & general stuff comes before my PC

For the new guild missions (the one that rewards 3k influence upon completion) I feel as though that should reward:

3000 Influence
15 Silver
xxx Karma (Considering Karma is almost a defunct Currency)
xxx Experience (less than normal event XP, but still rewards people)

SF aren’t getting any free rides, If they want to move up they need to fight their way up..mostly because they don’t deserve to be in T7 (Until, they show respect instead of throwing the word around) and if they want to move to T7 they need to do that on their own like the rest of us would.

The problem is that servers wanted everyone in the game to transfer to their server before free transfers ended thus OVERPOPULATING your own server pushing you into overfow as everyone on server wants a piece of the action.

My solution?
Instead of making rewards account bound (making the game even more alt unfriendly) or only having rewards on home server and not get rewards for guesting , simple.

Increase capacity per map before overflow is triggered (right now lag & skill lag = Culling & hardware capacity will be “eliminated” soon).

Yes, by deleting all of your characters you can transfer to another server for Free (if memory serves correct from a dev post).

Just make sure you send stuff you want to keep to friends as it will be deleted.

Gold, items in bank, everything gets deleted (by logic, having no characters = fresh bank) but i may be wrong on that, I have never (and wont) delete my characters

Actual fact for you silver, before you judge too quick:

Supply income for the golems came from Spiritholme & Gods lore, this is why Fergs were getting heavy resistance on our borderlands and supply camps flipped within seconds if they were ever capped.

It is natural to place down an upgrade on a tower/keep even if you know that it is going to be zerged within the hour.

The person (cannot look at SS atm whilst typing on phone) was in actual fact telling people to get supply there (see above from where) for the Golarmy.

We knew we were gonna lose the keep via N’capping or other meand anyway so meh.

And….i hate typing on my phone, touchscreen so sensitive
