I appreciate you posting this. I had not seen it. I know most people won’t care, but as a software developer I was always interested in some of the design and coding aspects of large scale, high budget AAA MMO projects.

not bad…could be better, but meh, nothing worth making me use my gold in the BLTC at this moment.

Hopefully there is a CAP on Gold>Gems/Gems>Gold.

and hopefully it won’t become 1g>1Gem..as well, that will be pushing players away.

I have only spent £49.99 for Guild Wars 2, I can play the game without the Gem Store for now until useful items come into play (Hopefully no “Power-selling” items…had enough of games milking the P2W items)

Trying to get a WR against 2 servers who have lost most of its WvW Players (And alot of PvE Players, and on top of that, people are still transferring away to winning servers) is just beyond stupid and insulting.

The downed states in general need to be reevaluated. These two are definitely the most powerful because they allow classes to get back into the fight immediately rather than forcing a 5 minute walk from spawn that every other class faces upon defeat outside tower walls.

If they change it for WvW, PvE is basically Ruined.

WvW=PvE (PvP in eviromental standards)

These skills are mostly used for PvE specific stuff..

For example, when fighting a Champion Solo as a D/D Ele, and i am not paying enough attention, Mist Form (Down skill #2) is very useful in these circumstances, skill #2 downed is also helpful in a Dungeon as a Elementalist as you can back away from the mobs and revive.

(Not played much of a warrior, so i don’t know much about their skills)

If this skill gets removed/Nerfed, then i will be upset and so will the Elementalist Community, its as if we aren’t squishy enough for you guys……

There are 2 options:
a) Deal With it.
b) Play another game.

Well the other classes can’t so why only those two? Trust me warrior not the only class with crappy downed state skills. Stop being so naive.

Just because this class has that skill, and that class has this skill, doesn’t mean all classes should use the same skills.

All classes are unique and have different Abilities.

Thieves can cloak themselves while in downed state etc……..
and yet you think Warrior & Elementalist skills are bad?

Why not just remove classes & Uniqueness altogether if people find such small things to complain about.

Elementalists have the lowest HP in the game, we Have been nerfed to Oblivion, yet people still find the smallest thing to complain about or ask for a nerf on that particular skill….

We have a skill called “Mist Form” downed state skill for a reason as we are, essentially a mage…

Warriors, have Vengence, as their class name represents them as “Warriors” who don’t stop fighting until they are actually dead.

I feel this is a L2P Issue Rather than a Complaint.

well…at least it isn’t a Bard were you’d get 1shotted critted for 245k+ by getting hit with its Guitar………..

but Yeah, Warriors need nerfed, not Buffed, Eles Need Buffed, Not Nerfed & Thieves need a small nerf & a small buff, Rangers need Fixed….

But ofc, they only play 2 Types of classes so we won’t see any sign of balance, or them taking comments from the community who play the game and do something useful with it.

you need to focus more on your Vitality atm…

Conditions pretty much Ignore Toughness and go straight for your Vitality.

Try to get your HP as close to 18k(+) Health, you should survive a lot more longer.

PVT (Power, Vitality, Toughness) Armor.
Clerics Jewellery set (Rings, ears & Amulet)
for back item anything (maybe even precision/Condition stats on back item, I have the Mad Kings Back item atm, I enjoy the Light source from it >_>)

Best way is dungeons, but if you are like me and getting 4fps in dungeons (yeah, Yeah, waiting for my new gfx card to come in….currently running a Geforce 6100 and upgrading to a Asus amd 6670 >_>) then Karma merchants is the way to go (Grenth Temple in Cursed Shore does a few nice PVT Gear) and Karma is Easily farmed if you have spare time doing Events & Completing your Dailies, even after spending 42k Karma per piece it really is Easy to farm by doing various things IMO.

ofc, for me, I have sort have left it too late to get my gear atm as Cursed Shore is empty due to “The Lost Shores” Event…was hoping to get my gear from it sometime this week, but happy on waiting atm :P

there is around 6-7 Dynamic Events:

- Collect eggs
- Collect Golem Parts
- Retaking the camp
- Kill the Reef Shark (Chest spawns on the ships deck after shark is dead)
- Kill the Broodmother (Chest spawns near the cave entrance where you would go to collect the juvenile Reef Drake)
- Collect Consortium Items

and probably a few more but i can’t think of them atm

Was solo’ing the “Underground” one (The one with the dredge) almost at the top….(Very easy to take on 3 veterans that seems to respawn alot quicker than expected at the same time)

Client “Loses” connection to the client….

I checked my internet, and all was fine….

was really annoyed T_T

logged back in-game and didn’t do anything until event started….gonna wait until everything die down and servers have stable connections before trying again

Ride the Lightning also “Hardly” works and is just WORSE…

it completely misses the target, and even if it does hit it still goes past the target for another 1-3 seconds meaning i am taking more damage than i should…………………

I have noticed Ride the lightning just totally misses the target now (It is as if it thinks the target is moving, even when the target is still, it misses) and keeps me in its orb for a while….

Fixing that obviously bugged it out even more.

I can confirm (Probably already confirmed etc. etc., but i never used any earth traits until recently) that Earths Embrace Doesn’t trigger until around 25-30% health….sometimes it doesn’t even trigger at all (Even after CD is finished).

There also seems to be a Camera bug whenever casting different spells it pushes my camera upwards.

probably more bugs around the corner, no surprise there, and if i ind them i will post…….

Armor has seemingly been made totally obsolete in this place. In Orr I could stand my ground against 1 veteran or 3-4 regular foes most of the time (Guardian with 3250 armor and regen about 170 health/second). Here I’m near death after a 1 on 1 with one regular enemy. Trying to melee a veteran is out of the question.

Well, at least I know Cloth mechanics didn’t get ninja-nerfed……

really annoying, 1 hit from a Karka and somehow i am 1/2 my health….(I am level 80, and 1/2 exotics….)

Then a warrior comes in, 2 shots a karka takes no damage, go figure…..

and being ranged is quite useless also as karka somehow have range spells also making it even harder…….

tbh, im kind of disapointed on the new zone, no exotic karma merchants, very small IMO……oh well it will do

Negative feedback & Positive feedback / Criticism is the best feedback as you hear from all sides…

Deleting them only makes the community more enraged and hides the feedback we give.

Please don’t try to recruit people into your servers on here, take it else where, this type of “Sniping” Really disgusts me, especially when that “Sniping” is you taking it from a lower server and posting it all over the battle thread.

have you tried playing an ele, and if you have you would know that the utility skill has charges, bugs, wrong tooltips etc.

and on-top of that, Conjuring a weapon decreases our stats thus decreasing our DPS.

What your basically asking for is to get eles nerfed yet again, and warriors buffed.

Warriors have nothing to complain about IMO, we “Lower” Classes seem to get overlooked and nerfed for easy kills in PvP…..

It makes no sense to me.

Character Selection screen still shows the wrong amount of achievement points

Buff our damage & defenses IMO…

Compared to most clothie classes I have played (In every game i have played almost all of them has a mage, and i always choose mage to be my first character, in some cases the mage has been done correct, but f’d up by the developers) the damage output/Defensive input is just poorly Flawed.

The elementalist (Being known as a Mage, and a Necromancer being known as a Summoner) is just…how do i say, rubbish? the damage output is poor and in some cases we take more damage than outputting damage, this is wrong, a Mage focuses on 3 elements:

- DPS
- Defenses
- Support

I feel the cloth mechanics in GW2 seems to be poorly designed & Overlooked as is our DPS.

we are supposed to dish out the dps and take damage where as right now all we do is:

dish out a tickle and get 1-2 shotted from a Warrior or Thief.

Also, this isn’t a L2P Issue, I have mastered my Cycle and stats and can only be an annoyance to the enemy, as an elementalist, our DPS feels flawed.

also, if you use the earth armor utility skill you can now replace that with another utility slot ^.^

Not much of a loss imo, rotation still stays the same, a bit slower but more viable now.
(also, EA water skill seemed to have been nerfed IMO, i seem to be healing myself much lower using it so it has became useless to me..probably as it isn’t a blast finisher anymore, but still sad to see EA go away)

For Staff Eles, i am not too sure..i levelled from 1-80 as a staff ele using a “Get in, get out” Build, but it wasn’t very viable and mostly focused around 1 or 2 attunements, after levelling to 80 i switched to D/D

Yeah, communicate with your playerbase or at least acknowledge they are alive….

i dunno i play as a D/D ele and thinking of dropping some stuff.

-Fixed an issue that could prevent the Straits of Devastation event “Help the Pact reach the Altar of Betrayal before their morale is depleted” from starting.

Obviously these fixes hasn’t worked…not to say im surprised -.-

Also for those who are saying “ONLY 2????” obviously you haven’t really worked in a gaming environment.

The team is split up (Usually 2s or 3s) told to do this & Do that, one “Split Team” is set to develop a certain feature, and another “Split Group” is sent to work and develop on another feature.

ofc, they don’t split up as in…leave the room all-together (Although it does depend on their workspace) but this gives a faster and stress-free Development of a game.

Yes there are bugs that need to be fixed, but those bugs will be fixed in future patches as they get to it.

Balance has always been an issue in MMORPG games, but you can’t please everyone, to create a “Balanced” class is virtually impossible as people will even complain of how the underpowered class in a game is OP.

Still waiting on the patch. Still no word from ANET. Is it just me, or does ANET have some serious PR issues? They talk a big game about transparency and communication with the community, but talk is cheap and they have yet to deliver.

So then don’t wait. Play any of the hundreds of things to do in the game already. Or watch tv. Or make and origami kitten. Why all the QQ? Really? Are you guys 5 years old?

By this point in your life you should have been able to develop skills for keeping yourselves occupied without the intervention of outside sources.

The patch will be out when it is ready to be pushed out… and there might be a hundred different reasons why that wasn’t at the time you were expecting. Occupy yourselves like a dignified human being and stop crying about your disappointments for the world to read. It’s unsightly.

Because in an “Unknown” Part of the world it is nighttime, 9pm GMT here atm, and not everybody has all the time in the world nor does everyone have to play other games or go do something else, maybe they enjoy(ed) GW2 more than other games.

and all the QQ isn’t about nothing, ALOT of posts & on the mainpage confirming the 15th for the update has been ninja-deleted.

i can only assume Anet has messed up coding and has to delay the patch…but cmon, at least give a puppy announcement if it is indeed delayed or patch DOWNLOAD is tomorrow………
